Has anyone else seen one of their existing characters just....vanish? Just saw that my old level 43 plainswalker, which was my first character to make after Lineage 2 came out of beta, vanished. No countdown, just does not exist. I'm not too bothered by it because I have not touched that character in years, but he did have a lot of old items that are not around anymore.
This only creates worry that any high level toon I have may just.......vanish!

This is known about, and you were by far warned. When NCSoft did the server merging, characters on accounts where deleted if the account was not active, originally it was any character under 40, then it was all characters. You had like a month to activate your account to save your toons. This was years ago.
Lol yes it is the right server. I thought it very strange that when I logged in, I had 1 less character next to the server name. Logged in, and someones missing!

Yeah, it happened YESTERDAY. I just decided to post about it today.
I doubt a GM would be able to explain that one. Even if the account was inactive over a year and you never logged on there should be no reason it was deleted. And if all characters were deleted then you'd have no toons whatsoever so that isn't the issue either.
Yeah, the account has been active for a long time. I also logged on him every so often to transfer items to and from his bank. I have not heard anything of this yet, but decided to post about it to at least bring it to attention.

However he finally just clarified that it happened yesterday, and that he isn't just returning to the game, so its another issue.

Are your ok? All characters means any level, so it could have applied to a 43, when he mentioned he was worried about how it might have happened to his higher toons, you get the sense that they may have been on other accounts, because you does not mention knowing 'yet'.

I'd send a ticket to support anyways and see what they have to say about it if they get to it. I think you should be okay,I've never heard of this happening. It could even be something silly as running a file repair? Or just a bug.
