Translation Macros

The two main forms of human interaction that do not require language are violence and (s). In Lineage 2, only the first of these interactions is possible.

When I see another player in this game that does not speak the same language, I would like to be able to interact with them in ways beyond simply killing them.

As such, I need the following macros translated (please reply to thread so original can be updated):

"Thank You" macro:
/s ty, ?(spanish), ?(french), ?(portuguese), ?(german), ?(russian)

"You are welcome" macro:
/s yw, ?(spanish), ?(french), ?(portuguese), ?(german), ?(russian)

I've only ever seen western language speaking players on the NA servers within the last year, which is the reason Japanese, Chinese, Korean etc. are not listed. Most people speaking those languages play on servers run by NCsoft (directly or by license) in countries that do not include the US servers (these).
NCWest client only supports the English ASCII language and it has always been that way since Chronical 1. There are seveal other languages being used on the servers, but you have to remember that all the NCWest servers are located in the USA, hence they are US/English based.

Besides, if you cannot understand the other languages why would you want to have macros that reply in them?

Korean and asian players have their own servers which is the main reason you seldom see them playing on these servers, same with Russian servers.
"Thank You" macro:
/s ty, ?(gracias), ?(merci), ?(obrigado), ?(german), ?(russian)

"You are welcome" macro:
/s yw, ?(bienvenido), ?(french), ?(és bem vindo), ?(german), ?(russian)

"Please Buff" macro:
/s please buff, ?(buffa por favor), ?(french), ?(buffa por favor), ?(german), ?(russian)

"Stop" macro:
/s stop, ?(para), ?(french), ?(para), ?(german), ?(russian)

"Be right back" macro:
/s brb, ?(spanish), ?(french), ?(venho já), ?(german), ?(russian)

"PvP" in party chat (for when a fight is about to happen to warn party members):
#pvp, (spanish), ?(french), ?(vai haver PVP, preparem-se), ?(german), ?(russian)

"No" macro:
/s no, ?(no), ?(french), ?(não), ?(german), ?(russian)

"Ok" macro:
/s k, ?(spanish), ?(french), ?(está bem), ?(german), ?(russian)

"Must leave" macro:
/s I have to go, ?(tengo que irme), ?(french), ?(tenho de ir embora), ?(german), ?(russian)

"Sleep" macro:

Spanish ones:

"Thank You" macro:
"Gracias"

"You are welcome" macro:
"De nada" o "Agradecido"

"Please Buff" macro:
"Dame Buff porfavor"

"Stop" macro:
"Para"

"Be right back" macro:
"Vuelvo altiro"

"PvP" in party chat (for when a fight is about to happen to warn party members):
"Vamos a pelear"

"No"

"Ok" macro:

"Must leave" macro:
"Debo Irme"

"Sleep" macro:
"Dormir", depends on the context (if its a debuff, its "dormido", if its "go to sleep" es "irme a dormir".

"Bye" macro:
"Adios"

They're not...i am portuguese, therefore i don't need a google translator and i talk with spanish ppl a lot, i dunno how it can be "wrong". Wouldn't be the first time spanish speakers tell me "paralo!" or tengo que irme, and those are the only 2 diferent ones from you rofl

On the you are welcome, i took it as a celebrating context, if you look into portuguese translation i put in a similar way as spanish, as i didn't think it would be you welcome as in " no problem". So please refrain from claiming what you don't know. If i would have used google translator , i would have translated them all.

Well, i did say "Nope, most of spanish ones seem to be Google Translated, sorry". I can relate to the fact that it might have seemed a little brash on my behalf, and for that, i apologise.

Now, as an spanish speaking person, i find that my translated phrases better fit the context of which the posting user wants to emulate. For instance, "youre welcome" is a response phrase to "thanks" (like a "Gracias" - "De nada" kind of chat). Also, "give me buffs" is "dame buffs" or something of the sort, "buffas" is not a proper translation (even though it works, so i was kinda brash here also, sorry). The rest is like "OK" -> "OK" (kinda dumb, OK is universal xD).

That.
Besides, if you cannot understand the other languages why would you want to have macros that reply in them?

Just because you are not fluent in a language does not mean you can't pick up a few phrases to get by. It is unlikely you would develop a long lasting friendship with someone who speaks another language. But sometimes you just need the most basic phrases to understand people. Party for Kama or whatever... Have you ever played an MMO with truly international servers before?

Phrases like: "Are you a healer?", "What is your class?", "Can you tank?", "Can you pull?", "I need to go", "I want to sleep",... etc are like knowing how to say "Where is the bathroom?" when you visit a foreign country.
