moral of the story: completely different playstyles between the 3 options. Pick whichever YOU enjoy playing not whatever random people prefer
I can't count the times I've said this to people. I've resorted to including it in my sig. If you play what other people think you should play based on THEIR playstyle, you will be one sad, frustrated player at the end of the week. Try each class out, there are plenty of character slots available, and play the one/ones YOU enjoy best.
On the simple basis that you asked for suggestions with no background information on what you want to play; added to the fact you couldn't even put this in the proper forums, you deserve the desire of wanting to gouge your eyes out after trying to level one up.
Personally I think Zuff is right, it's about what you wanna play most. Everyone has their own opinions, and in the end if you pick something you won't enjoy you won't lvl it up fast/stick with it long enough to really enjoy the game.
I myself, love the mage set, SH/SE but some ppl tend to get bored of the mage set because it's not "complicated enough".
Also imo a pp is a waste, better off if going to go with anything to go with the WC when comes to mele/range DD but a SE if going for mage class.
