Ok, not another 'I cant log in' thread (I gave up on that one) but here is another issue I found playing this game today. Long story short, white, blue, green characters are able to PK without going red, just purple.
Long time away from this game but I know the rules of pk or at least I thought I knew them till today, if the target doesnt flag (its white) you go red (except clan wars). Well, today I was xping on a new and clanless char in fotd and some players, all from the same clan (propve wth) came and took all the mobs around and claimed the spot without saying anything. I know these specimens exists all over the server now but I continued killing mobs in the same spot. The thing is, one of them, blue name (not like it matter) killed me and didnt go red, he was purple. I went back, another one pked me just like that, no red at all. Finally I managed to get another char in game after half hour trying to log in but they disappeared. Later, another player came into this spot, taking mobs under my nose. I managed to get him/her killed by mobs, he came back and pked my lowbie alt and didnt go red. My alt was white the whole time. I recorded one of these pk in case there is something wrong but I think I'm missing something, did these pk rules got changed that you can kill someone without penalty? I pked on my main after god and it wasnt that easy getting rid of my red, I want to know how they are able to pk without going red, so I can return the favor. I also have a few seconds recorded, in case I'm allowed to post it and this isnt suppose to happen.
It's common practice to watch a person's HP bar and get it low enough to have the mobs kill that person. If you have a stun attack, you can stun that person and watch the mobs kill that person. you're welcome.
do you think im a new player and i dont know such things? thats how i manage to kill other people and dont go red myself, its the old way but they used all the possible skills and my alt died in less that a couple of seconds, not a single mobs were near since they killed them all on spawn and i can read chat just fine, not a single hit by mobs... but it seems like you cant read my post.
some one needs a hug. I didn't infer that you were a new player, but I had thought you asked if there was a way that person could PK you without going red and offered a way. But since you implied that you already know the "watch the HP bar" way and admit using it, we shall strike that explaination as irrelevant. But since you are in a bad mood about it, and did show it in a most unfunkadelic way, I hope good luck in finding your answer and I shall "lol" you in the most funkadelic way when I see your QQ post from here on out. :D

OOH!! I just realized another way you can get PK'd without the PKer going red but all I can offer is...... LOL!!
just stop, your no help.
-on topic though, its possible that they had positive reputation exceeding the amount of reputation loss they incurred from killing you. For example if they had a positive reputation of 800 and received a penalty of -720 reputation from pking you; 800-720=80 thus they still had a positive reputation and will not turn chaotic, as the only way to turn chaotic is to have NEGATIVE reputation.
If a Lawful characters PK count is 30 or lower, that characters Reputation level will become zero if the character PKs again. At zero, a character is neither Lawful nor Chaotic.
This means if your pk count is less than 30 and you have a positive reputation , you may not turn chaotic from a couple pks. Just that your positive reputation will return to 0, making u a neutral character (white named). That is given that you have enough positive reputation to offset the penalty.
