Is it just me or did they absolutely butt-**** anything pre-awakened?
It's starting to become very common that in 70s spots, if people think they want to have it on lockdown, to bring a Summoner/Wizard friend/alt and DoT you down to 1 HP to force you to leave or just die from mobs and take no flack for it themselves because technically it doesn't count as a PK. This is especially common with Summoner's who can DoT you then prism you and for some odd unknown reason NCSoft thought it'd be a good idea if those DoT's still ticked at full force while you were sat there and couldn't do jack ****, so you come out of it, the mob hits you once and you die. GG.
It's also not uncommon for people to rock full on Iss Enchanter buffs and KS the living hell out of people and they can't do anything about it. What will they do? Fight back? You'll get rocked by those buffs, let me assure you, even if not, they probably have said Iss Enchanter somewhere around the corner and he'll just kill you anyway.
Which is another thing. Who thought it was a good idea that Awakened characters should automatically be 10x stronger than pre-awakened characters? It's not uncommon for me to see a single Awakened kill an entire party of 76~ players just because they made the mistake of flagging on their low level alt. This whole trend of fearlessness due to overpower makes no sense to me. It breaks all trends. When you became third class, you didn't become this powerful. So why does it make sense that when you become fourth class, you do?
While all this is going on, one can only sit back and laugh at NCSoft's clear line of ******** when they say that the new PK system was to "prevent griefing". If they were looking to prevent griefing then they wouldn't allow DoT's that tick for 300+ damage on non-awakened characters to be used on them without them being flagged, but only take the opposing character down to 1 HP so that the person who casted it doesn't go red name.
