Im sick of people complaining about players creating many accounts since it's free to play.
- Over 7 years, i bought xx accounts. 50$+ each
- I have payed many, many months @ 15$ each
- i have made tons of level 1 character for events ( exemple dynasty event i rotate 7 character on xx accounts @ 15$ each per month )
Now that it's free if i wanna log my xx ( now free) account at the same time ill do it and i dont see why i shouldn't because i was doing the same thing when it was pay to play. ( rest assure , i did not logged more than usual, x. And i dont use bots feel free to check.)
Now because of people complaining ( mostly from private servers) they will set some stupid restriction and i wont be able to use my accounts that i bought.
I was forced to merge twice from lionna and i would love nothing more than not beeing on chronos but i did not choose it. They need to offer the merged people a chance to free transfer.
And I don't agree with the X number of clients per IP petition/survey people are posting. I think a player should be able to load as many clients as they can handle. If a player wants to load 7 clients on their computer/networked computers, why tell them no? Are they required to play less because other people play with less? As long as the person controlling the characters is using legitimate means, and isn't violating any rules or the EULA, doing so, then let them.
Don't punish the people who multibox for not breaking the rules, punish the 2000+ bots who are logged in at any given time who mock those rules.
Really guys? So you want a server without limits?Sure!
But don't return one day (even if they do what you want) and say "Oh crap! No mob for me!"

Do the math. The guy who started this thread said about tons of level 1 toons.
Lets say 5 accounts logged in. So 5 toons for 1 player.
Think about 1000 players with the same brain. 5000 toons,
So if one server got 6000 slots for players you are closing the door to 5000 players just to play yourselfs?
Are you crazy or something worse?
Or do you think NCWest likes getting money from 1000 players rather than 6000?
You will probably say "OH F2P sucks" etc etc,go leave ! Let the other 5000 players play and not smash their pcs to login!
Also you mentioned the people who complain . Do we need to be from a private server to want a slot on the server to play?
Ps. I got an ISS and i log him only 5 minutes each half an hour to buff my main if i need too,to keep one more slot free. What a difference in opinions.
x clients per ip is not enforceable anyways. When I started playing lineage I was in college, my whole dorm had one external IP ... and I wasn't the only one playing lineage
@satanou the difference is he has paid for those accounts, if it was ok to log them in when it cost him $15/month to do so you can't stop him now just cause a bunch of freeloaders think they deserve to play.
PS why on earth is NC allowing more characters to be created in the two old servers? Shut them down, force the newbies to the new servers.

The freeloaders are the problem not me. The peoples who played (pay to play) multiple accounts for 7 years are the reason why you now still enjoy lineage 2. I hope the gm's never forget that.
We should be given premium account too. Server transfers to our old server would also be nice too.

Mostly from private server...wait? REALLY? GOSH CAPTAIN OBVIOUS! If servers were almost DEAD when it was pay to play and ppl like you multi boxed, how do you expect anything but MOSTLY PS players to NOT complain when almost everybody that plays now is from *drum roll* PRIVATE SERVERS?
It's your fault that youre an adept of multi boxing in the first place, you know perfectly well how ncwest has some kind of issue with dealing with overpopulated servers (cap been the same for years even with tecnology improvements). If people bot with a possible 10 accounts or more, if servers have this low capacity for a large population, it's not suprising ANY casual player (yes casual, not private server, CASUAL) would like people limited to 2 boxes which is completetly normal, easier acess at peak hours, less lag and viable for everyone.

Are you saying a person with 7 clients on, plays MORE than a person with 2 clients on? Nobody plays less becoz their 3rd box cant be loged. You're still ingame and enjoying it.
There is a guy on Chronos that plays this game using a stick in his mouth.
Should we not make everyone do that also then?
If I cant play all my accounts coz some little kid cant multibox or get a decent computer to play on, then everyone should play using a stick in their mouths.
