Hello,
May I ask NC to give some insight in that area?
Is there any policy in that area or some guidelines?
Personally I not got hit but, reading forum and after chat in game with 2 friends, I'm a bit lost.
Why sometimes items are not returned to owner(s)?
I remember form the past explanation one of GM.
- GM can't track Adena nor consumables as those doesn't have unique ID to track (those items what 'stack').
- GM can track rest of items like weapon/gear as they have own ID.
Exceptions:
1. item is transfer out of server with account
2. Item is destroyed (crystallized) :)
So why so many times instead of 'stolen' epic/gear one got bound/common item?
I hardly believe they are instantly crystallized :D
Same goes with top +300 weapons or +6 armour sets.
Is it related to process of selling?
If I would manage to buy stolen Anthy for 10 Adena are you not going take it from me?
If it would be true I can imagine that 1st thing, what scammer need to do, is perform artificial transaction between his accounts - to make items 'clean'
If it would be true, any delay in taking action (investigating ticket related to scam) is really bad.
Can I ask for some clarification?
Maybe some ideas how change that situation (apart of preventing ****)?
