Nothing new here. L2 has always been pay to win. The only difference now is NcSoft making the money above board and in the open, inlike before when it was underground through RMT.

Ya I dont get it. I have job (can't grind for more than 2-3 hours at a time) let alone every day. My job also pays very very well but I still wouldnt spend that kind of money on a game. However I would IF I had the time, no family, money or if I had to do it as a job to feed my family (RMT). But as it is I just try to have fun, have realised a long time ago that ai cannot devote the time and money to be a part of the power clans.

Free too play just means someone pays for other not having to pay. So you "legit players" don't pay anything to your lovely NCWest, but this guy paied and thats what happend. Players raging, NC counting profits. :D And it will be more and more of it, this is how EVERY "F2P" system works.

it means Destruction Enchant Weapon R-Grade basicly means if ur weapon fails it does not get crystalized but in addition ur weapon also retains the enchan value. So if it was +14 and it fails ull keep +14 and can try again.

I got an infraction because i told someone to HTFU (look it up in urban dictionary if you don't know what it means). On Eve Online forums the devs and GMs that post often almost in every thread (unlike here where they are non-existant) say that to players and players to them in both fun and serious ways and at the end everyone is happy. dewr = enchant gun up to +15 w/o losing previous enchant on fail. if you have many such enchants, you can make any weapon +15 safely.
and to get so many enchants should take years for whole clan, not 1 day for anyone

Thats what you get when you think emotionally - not rationally. I never said it's right or wrong because those can be viewed very differently from person to person, all I told that few people who can afford that will not change much in the grand scheme of things.
P.S. Managed to survive anakims, will find a way to survive this because I think what should I do instead of coming here and crying how terrible/bad or w/e situation is.

As to the OP, is anyone else wondering "why'd he stop at 15?" If the player did indeed drop the money for those enchants, why not drop the few extra bucks and make it +16? And yes, there was an instance once of an over-enchanted weapon being removed from the game but it was not due to a balance issue. The player used a glitch with spoiling and farmed some 200 enchants in a day, sold them, went back and collected a few hundred more, then bought a few weapons and enchanted a weapon to +18 (on Gustin, at least, and I think it was C grade).
As to every one else complaining about balance and how unfair it is, you have to be reminded that this game has always been geared towards rewarding the people who dedicate themselves to the game. Also, over-enchanting is one of the many features of Lineage2. If an item is put into the shop to increase revenue for the company and people use it, then is 1 +15 weapon really worth complaining about if it covers the cost of the servers for an entire week on its own?
I say find that player, applaud him/her for keeping the game active... then wait for him/her to go red and fight over the drops. Spoils to the victors.

If you do not already you should check out Freemmogamer.com and MMObomb.com, the 2 sites are done by MMObomb and they are always doing giveaways. When these games get ready to or go into CB they will be giving out keys for them, easiest way to get CB keys, that is how I always do it.

Base m.atk of apo retributer : 314
m.atk of blessed +15 : 674
thats 360 more m.atk. not a big deal?
Back then, when you enchanted S weapon +0 - +3 it gave 4 m.atk(each enchant), 8 after +4
with simple math (and if there were no R grade, no blessed and no new OE bonusses) ignoring base weapon value we have +46.5 S weapon. Crazy huh?
But we now have R grade, R enchants give 5 m.atk instead of 4, and 10 after +4. Well if that weapon wasn't blessed, and there weren't other new bonuses, you would need to make this weapon +37.5 to get 360 more m.atk
Yeah, OE is now OP itself if you enchant blessed weapon of right type. I really would like to know blessed and +4 bonus formulas, cause its really crazy.
BTW: I bet my pants that they will extend Destiny Pack instead of deleting. I didnt play there before GOD, but those 2 months are already enough to see and understand how NCW work (or better say - dont work?)

Second: It's good to see proof that magical items are harder to enchant than normal items. The same goes for armor, where +6 is considered pretty much on par with +15 on a weapon (as the Destruction scrolls prove).

u need 4 times more matk to do double damage...so yes a mage with 160k matk will do twice as much damage as 1 with 40k. same way 1 mage with 5k matk will do half the damage of 1 with 20k matk .-.

I have around 70k m attack under full buff and rhapsody, jager got around 160k (better dyes and stuff). My weapon is a bound +3 apocalypse retributer.
Never new that 4 times m atk just doubles damage so I went testing.
1063 m atk (none elemental weapon against no elemental target)
Damage variance ~900-1100 non crits
4358 m atk (again non elemental weapon vs no element defense target)
Damage variance ~1800-2200 non crits
So basically even with this +15 it's not really that big of the deal. Yes it will hurt and it will hurt badly, but it's not that it's a win scenario 100%. In comparison, anakims were WAY more OP in much more ways including extraordinary 30k HP pool on mage and 10k/WQHP with no reuse + cardi healing. YOu literally needed DD's of 2 parties all assist at the same time to take 1 anakim down and even than you wasn't sure if he will droop. So again once you stop *****ing and start thinking rationally situation isn't that bad at all.

Nerven have +16 or +17 Vesper Fighter, and? When he enchanted this weapon we had no f2p and DEWS in shop. Now you can use Hero Boxes for chance of obtaining DEWR. What prevents it? Or just buy Destiny Pack's:)

I have around 70k m attack under full buff and rhapsody, jager got around 160k (better dyes and stuff). My weapon is a bound +3 apocalypse retributer.

AFAIK they can keep 2 skills to improve matk, by not picking up the skills that reduce mp cost for a few seconds.
So its not really odd that some ppl think they can get ridiculous matk compared to the former Archmages/MysticMuses/Soultakers.

There is some game who a normal player can have 'all' item in store with the in-game business with other player without bot or play all times.
And, there is some games who the lv/stuff difference isn't like here.

Three of those games don't even have a release date, one we won't see for at least another year or two (LE), one isn't a real MMO (D3), GW2 is meh, and Tera is getting bad reviews overseas, and already has aimbots

i never said that "THAT" party is legit or not. anyway, in my opinion they also used xp boosts from store to speed exp.
well spending money in store is good thing for game. the wrong ones are NCsoft who put such items into store.
There are 3 people on Bartz with + 16 R grade weapons. They spent hundreds of dollars on Destiny packs and used the "Destruction EWR" till their weapons glow red.
And I thought people only donated for an advantage on private servers. Pretty soon, all a clan has to do, is everyone donate a few bucks, make a R grade weapon + 16, and demolish everyone.
I never thought NCWest would allow someone to have an advantage in the game for money. Thats one of the sadest things Ive seen in gaming......
Should be a limit of 2 or 3 of these per account, any item enchanted with one becomes permanently bound, and the enchants should be event (untradable). None of this pay to win bs.
Thats what you get when you think emotionally - not rationally. I never said it's right or wrong because those can be viewed very differently from person to person, all I told that few people who can afford that will not change much in the grand scheme of things.
P.S. Managed to survive anakims, will find a way to survive this because I think what should I do instead of coming here and crying how terrible/bad or w/e situation is.

Real question goes to NCsoft, who promote this to make money, but in the end, this is what is all about: making profits from a game.
I bet that next month NCWest will sell DEAR in L2Store coz having 2 StS with +15 blessed weapon in party not enough to win pvp. Need +10 set/jew to win.
They make more in the long if you gamble to get better things than if you can just buy some weapon directly. The long addiction is way more profitable, everyone over the age of 12 should already know this fact.

Tera is getting bad reviews. i'm not surprised with aimbots, since its 'real action kombat' (add korean accent) and enterprising individuals will always make a mod.

Tera only got bad reviews mostly in Korea ( i guess they dont like a game where u dont have to farm 24hs a day).
From what i saw in the CBT and in the NA/EU forums the game looks very good.
And about the aimbots.. is very hard to make a aimbot in a game where the npc/player keeps moving and ur spells take a while to get there (since bots cant predict human movement).

you have never played counter strike with aim bot then. players running and bullets reaching head with almost 100% acuracy
refund the money, remove the items. or your going to lose me as well as many others.. you know.. the people that worked hard over the last 7 years having fun in a dwindling activity game that was at the very least balanced.

Nova era = A bunch of degenerates who lived in there mom or grandmothers basements, with no jobs or $$$$ and botted ahead to control the server.
Akin era = A bunch of degenerates and carebears who are so scared of PVP they have to have 70% of the servers population to control game. These people including u run the programs also just like Nova.
Next era = Pay to win a zerg of people who will use programs also but will win by spending more loot. They just happen to have jobs and loot and are willing to spend it on a video game.
I honestly would rather see a bunch of pay 2 win players form a zerg of +15 R grade weapons and wipe the floor of this zerg on Chronos opposed to having a 300-500 active person alliance zerg it up like this. They both ruin the game so its more like pick yr poison. The game has never and will never satisfy everyone yet we continue to play and adapt.
What will really break the game is all the peeps dropping 2k plus on a game decide to join the AKIN zerg. You think u dont like the game atm Hypno? Imagine what it wil be like for the rest of the server if this happens, but I am sure u wouldnt be making posts or complaining if that was the case atm.

I haven't seen proof of a +15 red weapon, but I believe if it exists, it's exclusive to R-grade. Friend of mine made a +15 D the other day and it was still blue.
High and top level augment stones effect the glow. But it's irrelevant, a +15 or +16 weapon is still grossly overpowered and practically impossible to get through normal play. You have to level 4 characters to 86 to get a .01% chance at a destruction r weapon scroll through the mentee system, or gamble hundreds of millions for the same chance through the aden donation system, or farm bosses nobody can hunt yet for years. Destruction r scrolls are suppose to be rarer than boss jewels, and ncsoft is selling them like hot cakes. TO make matters worse, they are giving away the weapon enchanment stones that are also extremely rare/take along time to get.
NC how can u say someone can play 28 days of a month w/o going afk LOL and MartelX on the other server same thing. A Navy Seal couldnt endure 28 days not hrs of doing work.
