Highest damage

well i have tried many classes before starting this thread (didnt get that high though)

but im kinda of bored of starting from scratch again >_< ... so
pve wise what class does the highest damage?
pvp wise what class does the highest damage?

aside from wizards.... I looked around before posting anything. A low defense wizard doesnt seem so lovely at low levels to me ^_^"

sorry if this sounds like a newbish question and thanks in advance.

1-85 mages do some of the best damage (titans do as well but require better gear and they are just slow in general).
85+ it really depends on application, but I might have to tip the hat to archers.
