Returning Player,questions

Greetings! I havent played L2 sense Interlude and im pretty much starting fresh.

I'm unsure of what to play, though D: looking for a hard hitting class, melee with either two handed weapons or perhaps a healer/support role.

How much has this game changed? Again,I havent been here sense interlude.

any particular server to play on? (EST here) or perhaps some sort of RP community?

To those who answer, thanks for th advice and such :) it is much appreciated

I kiss you softly....

for whats new hmm new race kamael ,max level is 99,mentor system, awakening classes at 85 (4th job) and more lol
you can read all about that in this link: http://www.lineage2.com/en/game/patch-notes/goddess-of-destruction/awakening/
for the "hard hitting class and dual weapons" rogue (4th job name) is a great DD that use dual daggers.
