Item drops, soulshots and skill activation are still lagging. Registering of item drops at times is worse than before the "fix" that this maintenance deployed.
Now I am not going to rip into NCSoft as going from pay to play to free to play at the same time as deploying a major game update was bound to cause issues no matter how much the game was QA'd and tested.
But it *is* starting to get frustrating now.
Especially as someone who has bought from the L2 store - even vanity items rather than game changing items - in order to support the move to free to play as much as I can afford to in order to help this new business model work in what little way I can.
And this was the nail in the coffin this week adding the pando media booster program. Tera launches May 1st, this game will meet it's demise much sooner than I predicted. More problems on top of more. Never during the time I paid was there such problems. Issues were taken care of. I think there's a serious lack of support at the NC offices.
World of Warcraft is popular because of the depth/social aspect of the game. As well as the beautiful raid engines. That and their customers are actually satisfied with the services. They know what they're paying for and that service is consistent, and I wish I could say the same for Lineage 2.
That is the difference between Lineage 2 and WoW. Lineage 2 is no longer that game and will be having trouble keeping up with the new releases in the West.

IMO - Unless NCwest puts together a team that adjusts the game for a Western play-base and tests the game first, then we are soon going to see players migrate to all the newer games. And I cannot stress enough on the need for better player support, which NCwest is clearly lacking.
Well the free to play concept I knew would be terrible, then NC announced layoffs and now we have all these problems with the servers,account security, nothing was tested for goddess,restricted in game petition service. Poor compensations to players for loss of items or purchases through the store in game. Honestly if I'm buying something with real money I better be able to use it or get a full refund. I mean seriously Wal-Mart will take items from OTHER stores without argument even if it obviously has the store name on it. They simply will not fight a customer.
