as an enchanter, our dual sword mastery has skill mastery, and fighters will built in. sure, we lose the initial boost of fighters will.
but we get the chance for extra damage...
just like the critical skill prophets used to get.
it's now incorporated into other enchanter buffs.
i know i get protections procing a lot.
i don't now where they are hidden, but they're in there somewhere.

which makes it that it really blows for those enchanters that refused to become dual wielders like erm SwM who had good sword/blunt masteries..
as NC made it so that all our skills can be used with duals/swords & blunts they should have added sword & blunts to the new weapon mastery instead of only catering to the 1 class out of all of them by making it duals only..
but maybe that's to logical for them, it's NC Fail after all.
So it doesnt worth to buy books like "fighters" will etc?
You have to take these skills so you can exchange them for Awaken skills or it doesn matter if u have them in passives or not..

These old skills will be deleted automatically when you awaken, even before you get the chance to buy any new skills. So it does not matter if you have them or not for buying the new skills. The only use to buy these old skills now would be to make the lvling to 85 faster.
Actually if you read your passive skills and when you fight all those skills trigger. Protection of rune etc , fighters will, archers will all exist in your awakened skills.

Wasnt the translation botched on enchanter skills?
Dagger is supposed to be sword?
Worth a try atleast. Dont think anyone really used blunt though. Did they?
Edit: Just tested on my Human Enchanter (was PP). Can use all skills and even get mp back on hitting.
so far i have determined that enchanter skills cannot be used when you are equipped with.
Polearms.
Bow/crossbows.
Fist weapons.
Daggers.
as far as i know everything else works.
maybe excluding Kamael exclusive weapons.
the skills which can't be used are mainly the attack melee skills.
crippling attack, shadow blade, assault rush, and deadly blow.
you can still buff, and use debuffs.
even while riding a wolf, or strider mount.
which is Weaponles.
not while transformed into your horse mount.
I would have given up Dual sword mastery though.
if i had the option to keep Weapon mastery from an Orc mystic :)
i'm also curious if using a non "Dual" weapon can trigger the fighter's will effect? i will have to do some testing.
i've been wailing on an npc for some time, and no "physical pose"
so you do need the weapons equipped to get that benefit.
if you don't take dual weapon mastery, you keep old skill mastery.
which is more beneficial for bd/sws because theirs is already based on str.
for domi, warcryer, and prophet, it's based on Int.

i don't know how it works with other classes.
Superior Resistance -Lv.1 Passive Skill
Increases STR, M. Def. and resistances to the four major elements. Increases M. Def. and elemental Def. temporarily when the caster suffers damage.
That's one of the protections you get when you awaken.
Also, I've heard that you can re-learn fighters will after awaken, but i'm not entirely sure about that and if someone wants to confirm that, be my guest and post here :)
Btw, as a tyrr warrior I get this:
Superior Weapon Mastery - Lv.1 Passive Skill
Increases STR +2 and Atk. Spd. 25%, and also P. Atk. and Accuracy when using a sword / blunt weapon / spear. Allows an attack with spears on more targets at once, with a certain chance of obtaining Lightning Force while performing critical attacks. The skills reuse time resets or duration increases according to the characters STR.
Lightning strike triggers quite a lot though, but i don't know if its in any way similar to fighters will.
