You are talking to yourselves. NCsoft do not work on weekends so they will do nothing. On weekdays they work but they rely on NC Korea for anything resembling a log in queue so again they will do nothing. Playing L2 is a lose/lose situation guys and gals, realise it like I have and everything will be fine.

So explain how innova changed the login process ? On innova server you don't log ingame but on their website. I don't see anything who could prevent NCWest to customize the login process to (with queue on the web site for exemple). Considering we log on the "Path To Awakening" screen they could implement such a mechanism.... if they have the will to improve things ofc.

NC West is still part of NCsoft, and from what I gather, NC Korea has the ultimate say about how things are done over here. They likely don't need a queue login system over in Korea, so the game's actual developers would see little-to-no reason to add one in.
In reality, if the rights to Lineage 2 were sold off to another company in North America, we'd likely see the game better off. I've been playing this game since the Korean beta and have never been more confident that NC Korea just doesn't give a frog about us over here.

I agree that it seems Innova as way more liberty for customization than NCWest. I suspect also NCWest to be a very very very small team, without any developer. *BUT* they did "Path To..." so I still have hope about login queues.

Innova (effectively) is simply using the website to allow your ip to connect to the game server, modifying a firewall rule if you wanna simplify it, not changing the login server. A queue requires a login server that is capable of queuing requests, that's completely different.

took me half an hour to log in around 4pm, then dc as soon as teleport so another 45 mins trying to login, then TW starts and i get dc'ed YET AGAIN 2 mins in, TW was half over when i got back in so i just ran around there and then it ends and i get dc'ed again but this time i really cant be bothered anymore to try and login, ill just get carpal tunnel and the game isnt worth that
