The only problem is with Naia and of course it's fault of ncwest.More europeans playing this game than americans,obviously ppl dont want to go to innova so naia suffers as its the only one gtm +1 server.

Well .. i try on NAIA of course because i am from europe, and all my friends play there.Let's say i type my password and try login in 10 seconds .. if i'm slow .... last time i tried literally 30minutes non-stop before i gave up .. that's surely more than 180 attempts.
I've gone far beyond breaking my first record.....
301 attempts and just stopped trying.
I'll try again tomorrow, maybe.
In the meanwhile I'll play a bit on the 20x private server. Which is more or
less the same exp rate we have on the official server these days. Even
slower, when vitality goes to zero.
i finally found the use of my nostromo after GoD. psw writing and enter spamming macro saves my hands and keyboard, though must watch all the time at screen how it is spamming, cause after i login if not turn off it will spam my psw in chat :>
if not that, it could have ended like this long time ago
I dont count, but i spam my pw during 30min, then stop 10min, then back again for more 30min.. then quit.
It as been this way during to much days, im really almost quitting this ****.
L2 is a amazing game, its the game i wanna play and with my chars created in 2006 in Teon.
I work all day, get home to play a little and its impossible befor 22-23h (gmt+0). At weekends is even worse.
My daughter only plays at weekends, she was able to logg in the morning, then get disconnect and it was impossible to return untill now.....

what a wonder that the server is full. look at naia in gludio 2m near the GK, 50 bots at 1 spot and 2 who drop adena without end....
but for that nc did the present next week, so maybe just 60% players hate them :mad:

Well I need to do this on Naia though because Chronos hasn't been that full... you know, shots don't work and all...
Tomorrow I might give it a try but last time I counted when Chronos was full, it was 30 tries before I managed to log in. Typing manually every time. 120 words per minute help in that sense... :D
..I rarely have any issues logging in, out of the last week of play I've been told to try again maybe twice. Then again I'm in PST and I'm not awake at 6am when most of you guys are spamming login attempts.

None the less, L2 is trying miserably to compete with private servers and the MMOs coming around the corner with their flashy animations and audio, attempting to capture the short attention span of youth today. If they kept it P2P while GoD runs it's course, it would probably do pretty well. But, alas, we will never know.
Luckily the number of players on Naia drops at 2300 GMT+1 so i have some time to play before bed. I just got myself a mentor and have 2 friends on Naia otherwise I would move to Magmeld right away. I might move there anyway but I would like to lvl up a little higher with this new cool 200% exp from mentor =]
During the day if I want to play I tried a few times 5 minutes continous attempts at logging in. 1 attempt every 7-10 sec. Sometimes I'm lucky, if not I go play LoL.

Only counted once which was yesterday when I got dc, took 88 attempts.
Usually I log on early in the day then it usually works on first try and stay online until I go to sleep.
NC should start give us XP for each try accordingly to killing mob of our top lvl char on the acc :D really, my "best" result is 30 mins nonstop attempts - I could get 50% of the level

This might be a copy of Silkroad Online's problem with bots. Many people left, so if NCSOFT wants to keep players here, they better act quickly.
This has ben going on for 7+ years, some years less bots than others, but L2 still kept going even though it was pay to play; plus Silkroad is still online as well even though I have never tried it.
If NC was the least bit concerned about their game they would have done something a long time ago. As long as they are making money that is all they care about, they are trying to run a business after all and money is what really matters to them. :)

yeah that's why it helps their bottom line to have Naia un reachable between 16pm & 24pm GMT+1 cause they don't want any player be able to login with a job cause omy they might actually buy some NC coins with their money.
Yeah the fact is their incredible lack of communication let us thinks that they don't care... EVERYTIME pp are raging against them is because of the lack of communication. 7 years laters, still the same problem. How the *** pp never learn ? So, we want to know :
- are you doing / planning something about logon pb on NAIA
- when ?
- do you actually care ?
Uhm i was okay at first with this full server thingy...i was thinking as long i am not the only with login issue. But i had enough. Basicly if you are working person u cant play pretty much. So i am signing out. Ty l2 for all these years. Time to play something else!
Even though I have a mentor on Naia I'm getting more tempted to move to Magmeld during the next maintenance. At least there it's possible to log in and do daily quests.
last saturday 2 hours might be arround 70 trys (and than i stopped trying) i have 2 chars with xp scrolls active atm, i want my money back that is fraud of NC on us players!
i will quit lineage finally now, i feel so badly treated as a costumer i think they really dont care about us europeans, so i wont care in future about all games hosted and released in korea. thx nc soft
Tried to play just now, on Sunday evening. Out of 3 hours, spent playing maybe 35 min total, and wasted the rest of this time logging in in between of a few disconnections.
The longest try took 35 minutes of non-stop typing. That's more than 300 login attempts in a row, since I do 9 attempts per minute. Fingers seem a bit hurt after typing this much. :o
In total, 140 minutes of trying to login means that I did 1260 attempts, typed in 18900 symbols and clicked mouse 3780 times.
That's the Lineage2 grind now, as of GoD: grinding at the login screen!
My record is still 1. 1 everytime, all of the time. I had a great TW today. The siege went wonderful. Oh sure, I had to sacrifice not play GoD anymore but considering the alternative (bugs, bots, overpopulation, m******s) it's a good trade off. I come back here for a good laugh after looking at silly cat pictures. You all have a good time trying to log in. I will go back to my server. ciao!

Yeah, WestL2 shall do something, this is boring, but rising more servers is not a solution, they shall remove mentoring system and instead of this to use Bartz model on all servers.

I seen a lot people happy to see me log (they always like the leader bonus buff), now they probably wonder why I disappear after 1 minute!
There are not even enough servers for all the people, and timezone poll pretty show there is a LOT EU players around since the Innova suck a lot with emptiness and lag spikes in areas where the only active thing you see it is yourself!

I agree with Aconyte though on login being the new L2 grind!
Why not allow Mentees to gain double xp and buffs from having a mentor without the mentor needing to be online and the same rule applying the other way with the mentee xp boost for the Mentor. This would save the servers being FULL of afk people. At least do this until you can think of something better, rather than doing nothing and enraging the players trying to play your game.

You DO know about server times, right? I mean the alignment of events' time with the GMT.
European player base is mostly around GMT+1. How could an european player afford to stay up at 3am to do a siege or anything else that has a specific time schedule bound up with US' GMT?
And what about who already had an end-game character in Naia before L2 got f2p? Not a small group, this one.

I spend 1.5 hour to log in game last friday. After this tries I decide to stop playing L2 until this login issue will be resolved.

The chances of a login are directly related to the amount of vitality your characters have and the amount of cash you spend at the NCshop ;)

why I need to make some scripts for programmable devices(mice, keyboards) instead of typing login/password one time? I dont have desire to find alternative ways to log in.
Have this ingame friend,,who plays extremely casualy, like once per week. And he always logs in at prime time, when servers are full since Tersis event. He logins on TS, casualy logs in at first try ingame everytime and doesn't even realize servers are full, and i take forever to log, i just stop logging.:(
I bet "they" are reading this, but they just doesnt care. If they did they would think before adding events like this.

implement a queue FFS OR return to server selection instead of login screen when a server is on high traffic OR add an option to remind the password.

pls stop starting these crappy farm events which have no use and benefit at all, OR replace the monkey that is scanning for bots on the servers by a real human and give him the authority to push the ban button more than once an hour.

thats what they did and the result is horrible.
any attempts to grant more people acess to the server fails if you do not deal with the unlegitimate accounts that are swarming any **** edge in the game.
i log in and get 5 pms immediately about how cool adena buying is and thats its only 10$ for 100m. character creatation lock is nice but the spamers and botters are already created guys...
so finally do what you should have done 8 years ago: ban the rule violators once and for all (even though this will result in Light populated servers...)
you think you would lose the majority of the community if you do so but thats wrong the players use cheats/bots because nobody is ever punishing them, hell i know a bunch of russians that think their 3rd party software are official game plugins (no joke) and download their clients from their clan homepages fully bundled with radar/bot software.

Wrong thread/section. Use the e-mail address you registered with to log in, do not use your master account name.
