ISS Armor

I'm about to hit lvl 86 and thus will be selecting some new armor. I've been told by a few people to go light armor, but heavy by others. I like being a DD and killing things, but folks told me to go light so I can get some MP bonuses. I hardly ever run low on MP so I'm thinking I don't need this.....

So, to you ISS players out there. Did you go heavy or light armor?
i am bit confused too about this
Taking in consideration the fact that Heavy armor gives a greater p.def. bonus and light gives you att. sp. which you don't need because you spam skills most of time and you already have great at. sp. from buffs, i would go with heavy!

I' d also like to hear more opinions too as this class can be very tricky!
if you solo go heavy, if you party go light, if you 're gonna buy 1 set buy light

Stop talking to clueless noobs. Heavy, heavy, and again heavy. There is one situation I can think of where light might be of use, and that's as a back-up alternative set for Oly if you were to fight a Mage or healer. In all other respects, you need to be in heavy armor.

light MP regen/clarity counts in party when you have other people taking the damage

shhhhh... don't talk to Retribution.. we are clueless noobs :) Let him teach us!! :)

If you play the class right then you are in the middle of mobs and should be in heavy, and you should be in heavy for pvp so that you live longer so you can chain heal, debuff, and Rez. I sit in parties and spam my skills and do fine with mp in between rebirths. There is no reason whatsoever to be in light armor for an xp party.

NA, ur not clueless, ur just GR.
Heavy .. remember we have sws and bd blood in us and those were always knight classes

and proud one!!! Any problem?
only heavy armor, forget about lights in exp parties especially if U gona take it from mentee cert (event1 not tradeable), so no use to put stones on it, and without that U will get some hard moments during exp, heavy suits fine.

Most of mobs at 85+ have some nasty aoes, so even if tank keeps agro properly then U R standing next to him spaming debuffs, so any extra deff is needed.

Easy way to check it, take both armors sets from mentee cert, and test them for yourself, all U need is new lvl 40 toon.
heavy if you want more pdef/hp
light if u want mpregen/atkspeed/atk
Okay well I'm glad I asked!
When i was 85 i bought light. I am 89 and i need HEAVY! SO BUY HEAVY FOR SURE!!!!!!!!!!
Heavy!!!
Or you could just make another toon to 40 and get anther cert. and buy both like it did....
