They give you the option cause perhaps you don't want to waste your "waiver" selling an item at 1 million but would much rather have the choice to use it when selling an item valued at 1 billion.
Does not say its enough to have in inventory - it says must be in inventory to use. Like anything, you can't exactly use a CP pot for example if it is stored in your warehouse.

That's correct, but like a billion other items in the game (give or take a couple), the description on this item could be a little more clear. I am starting to run out of pores on my skin trying to count the number of items in the game that have poor descriptions (or outright inaccurate descriptions).

It is quite obvious that the description does not say that you must do it a certain way for it to work... as so many descriptions are inadequate or just plain wrong in this game :mad:
I do not use the auction house. I set up 3 sell shops. In my opinion it should charge a lesser fee, and apply the fee only once when the item sells. If I put something on auction I have to pay the fee whether it sells or not, what businesses operate this way? (maybe in korea lol)
I would use the ah a lot if it charged say a flat fee of 5% WHEN the item sells. Things don't sell that well these days and I would soon go broke using this borked ah.
