The Subclass class quest has been replaced with a new one that characters can acquire from the new Subclass NPC, Raina, in Talking Island Village (http://legacy.lineage2.com/gd/zones.html#talking-island). Raina can also assist characters in creating or resetting their subclasses. Previous NPC functions for changing subclasses have been removed.
Well, after paying her a delightful visit, the NPC in question provided told me I have to do the old quests, i mean, REALLY?! If there is a new quest, that npc doesn't have it lol and I believe most people on Shilen don't know about the new method (if any). Any official word from Sace or any other GM about this would be nice...
Also, a bug-report support ticket was sent at the time of this post.
I don't know a single person who have seen that new quest and also there were a few topics like this, without any success, so probably it's non-existent.
Also consider rest of the patch notes as fiction as well, many things aren't representing the actual changes/gameplay.
When you have completed Mimir's Elixir, you are given the entitlement to bring up a Sub-Class. If you want to create a Sub-Class, search out Sub-Class Master Raina near the Jewelry Shop on Talking Island and apply for a Sub-Class
Quests are the same but few things changes so you dont need baium or do the bloody fabrics quest too. Also cabrio and RB in toi have changed to normal mob with high hp, low damage(not solo thow) and spawn again even before the box from the first dead one hasn't disappear yet..
Also noble quest dont need barakiel any more.
Or you can skip all those and do 3-4 territory wars (1 every two weeks), get 100 bandage ,buy noble from npc and choose sub without doing the sub quests.
But for me i choose the quests. I get sub and noble with a little time spending and around 30kk adena for b cry and top B in two days with clan help.
