Iss Enhanter: What´s the best weapon??

I have done much research on this subject, but found nothing concrete. So, i would like to know the opinion of you, what is the best weapon to use in Iss Enchanter? Dual blunt or dual sword? And what´s the better SA for us?

thanks in advance =)
was what I thought ... nobody knows! lol
Issue enchanters are awakened fighters.
Duals... so you can do your skills.

Duals... so you can do your skills.

Good job reading the question!...

So in the end, which is the more popular choice?
you can use also single/two handed blunts and swords.
but those weapons don't get the mastery for dual weapon.
which means
no attack speed bonus.
no p.attack bonus.
no Fighters will Proc.

other than that you can use all of your skills.
have not tested with the Rhapsody.

as for dual sword/blunt?
i personally prefer swords.
swords have a higher base crit rate.
and they have the Health SA.
and no matter what anyone tells you?
you do use normal hits with an enchanter.

also the swords don't look so silly.
if they fix it so it's one R weapon, and a Basalt...
i might decide otherwise.

Are you talking about the no proc with single weapon from experience (i.e. you tried it) or...?
i tried.
since the fighters will proc is part of the Dual weapon mastery, it doesn't go off for non dual weapons. i sat for a good 30 minutes with one handed mage blunt, pole, and daggers. i didn't try with two handed sword/blunt weapons though if those have some special traits.

and if you think 30 minutes isn't long enough? how often does it proc with dual swords/blunts?
I think 30min is enough xD.

I just wanted to know, since from the skill descriptions it could be read that certain parts of the masteries apply as general bonuses, not just for the weapon type specified, e.g.:

STR + 2, Atk. Spd. + 25%, P. Atk. + 376 and P. Accuracy + 3 when a sword, blunt, or spear weapon is equipped. Increases the number of possible targets during a spear attack. 50% chance of triggering Lightning Force during a critical attack. Additionally, there is a chance the re-use time of skills will reset or the duration double depending on your STR. (Bug reports of lightning force triggering with duals)

STR + 2 and P. Atk. + 344 when a dagger is equipped. Increases Atk. Spd. + 25% and vital spot attack success rate + 5%. Additionally, there is a chance the re-use time of skills will reset or the duration double depending on your STR. (bug reports that there's no atk. spd. difference between daggers)

You see from where I might be thinking that. Now I'm a bit disappointed though...
As someone else said, swords have a higher base physical critical rate. Blunts have higher accuracy. But personally, I base it on what race I am. Swords seem to be a better fit for Elves and Kamael, Blunts are a better fit for Orcs and Dwarves. Humans are somewhere between. Just my opinion, but you really can't go too wrong with either choice.
Using my 40 diploma at level 86, I bought dual swords and dual blunts for my orc Iss Enchanter.

They both are doing fine, but the blunts seem to kill a bit faster.

Since you spamming skills all the time, the swords better critrate (which counts only for normal swings) doesn't weigh too much, but the skillcrits with the blunts really shine.

I know of course that theoretically the average damage of swords and blunts is equal, so take my obversation with a grain of salt.

Too bad the dual masteries almost force you to use duals, otherwise it would make more sense swinging a 2 hand blunt, taking full advantage of skills and getting insane amounts of damage during crits.

I did that at level 85 at the Altar of Evil, skill-critting up to 19,5k pretty often with an +3 Vesper Retributer of Destiny (150 earth).
For parties, Dual swords with Health SA.

For solo, Dual blunts +4 with Damage Up SA.

If you can only afford one pair, go dual swords.
If you just look at the stats etc., both dual swords and dual blunts should work fine. But for me it's dual swords only, because the dual blunts look utterly ridiculous on my female DE. It's just not an option, having to look at that on my screen for hours.
