I haven't played in a LONG time, dont have my old accnt anymore, but looking to get back into the game starting a fresh char. Is there a quick way to get back into it? I remember lvling was very slow in the past there is no point in playing if i have to spend a year + to catch up to ppl, i noticed you can buy xp pots from this new ncsoft store, is there anything else like that to help me catch up quick and get back into it?
The great thing about Goddess of Destruction is that starting in the game is easy, you level up (to lvl 85) way faster than before, gear comes free for the most part (up to Rgrade) and the huge amount of new content/revamped areas will give you a somewhat new experience in the game...
Ofcourse the game is still a challenge, for example, logging into the game can take over half an hour sometimes and playing with all the lag of lately can make targeting a real challenge... Also, killing mobs with SS lag will make PvE that much more 'interesting' ... Ontop of all those fun things NCSoft recently implemented PANDO, which is a cool piece of 'Peer to Peer' software that will **** your internet connection and will grab your personal infos (ie from facebook) and spread them to it's costumers... WELL WHO WOULDN'T WANT THAT !!!!
Oh and if you see a bot, do not hassitate to petition it and NCSoft do anything to ignore the petition and delete it without even looking at it...

With Vitality points you get a massive exp boost which compliments the modified EXP tables per level.
Without outside help you can make it to 1-61 in a day if your time allows. Just remember to get ISS buffs 52+! It might seem expensive until you try it. 30 minute full buffs along with a 30 minute prophecy. You will easily make your money back in triple and double your exp intake.
I then did 61-68 in a day and got e mentor. Did 68-74 the next. Then 74-76. 76-79. 79-81. 81-82. Extremely boring. Not the MOST efficient way, but I did this without knowing anyone and spending about $30 in Ncoins.
With Path to Awakening (accessed through the main site) you get buffs and free shadow equipment (full sets of armor, jewelry, and a weapon of each type +4 with relevant Special Abilities) it is possible for even casual players to climb to 85+ with relative ease. D grade and Low C grade items are given for free but Path to Awakening gives 1 month C,B, and A gear along with thousands of C,B,A spirit and soul shots and you are given S grade equipment that will last 3 months.
Quests all the way up to 85 give on average 200,000-5,000,000 adena as well as millions of exp which further help.
And lets not forget mentoring, which passively gives you top buffs and 200% exp bonus, Nevits rune 100% or 200%, and EXP rune 50%.
There is a repeatable quest for mages in Dino Island that gives 15,000,000 exp per 30 quest items that you can collect every 2-10 minutes starting from lvl 77.
Starting fom lvl 76 you can get an awakened friend to power level you for 600,000-1.2m exp per mob (I made 76-78 in about 3 hours).
