I am requesting a new server for the EU community, I work everyday im the morning but I can't play at night because of high server traffic on Naia. I tried playing on Bartz but the latency issues there are extreme for me since the server is hosted in USA my character takes 10 secs to respond to my commands. So I thought of creating this thread just to express my idea, I don't care if its rejected I just think that that the EU community would appreciate an additional server with not so many players.
After all the server timezone polls, it looks like the majority of the servers will be going to Euro friendly times. The call should and will actually be for a NA time zoned server to come out, for everyone for North America to move to.
As for the server locations themselves, all the servers are based in the US. Texas to be exact. If you want to play on servers nearer to you, you need to go to lineage2.eu and play on Innova's servers, which are located in Europe.
Won't happen because NC West does not have the rights to host a Euro server anymore because they sold those rights to Innova. The only reason Naia still exists is because the server was already here when Euro hosting rights were sold off.
Plus they cannot seem to handle the servers they have now. Best thing they can do is adjust the timezones as long as they are not European.
I think they have proven with the server polls, that they don't care what times they adjust the servers to, and most are going to be moving away from the NA time zones they have the rights for.
They just have to have all their servers located on Naia. As for lag, Naia is sitting in the same building as the rest of the servers. It is no longer located in Europe, so you should have any additional lag problems being on Naia, Batrz or Chronos.
You should quit your current job and find one that allows you to play while working or gives you the schedule you need to participate during server prime times. ~ Best solution
This advice may not be suitable in all situations but it does address the issue and has been executed by many in this community.
If Naia is also in Texas, US then I guess my problem is the timezones after all because I don't lag on Bartz at certain times but then at 8pm UTC its impossible to play. Thanks for the response anyways.
