after 3 years of WoW i just decided to try l2 again since it became "freeish" and wow is too bad right now, and i wanna ask some questions!
I wanna try an archer- how are they balance wise at max lvl? And do they level up easy?
How viable is it to level up without dual boxing? Just a little bit harder or much harder?
How are buffs here? they're a must for pvping right? What's their duration? How do you get them? In private servers i played like 5 years ago you could get them by Npc's and they lasted like 1-2 hours, how's it here?
How do you find money here? and aprox how much would you get per hour?! In wow lets say u could get like 1k gold per hour, what about here!
What's your opinion about this change of the game being "free"? Of what I've understood someone can pay a lot of money for biiiig ingame advantages- Is that so? And what's your opinion about that?
Nobody can say how they are at max level as nooone has reached it yet. But so far they are quite the damage dealers in PVP with great survivility,plenty of crit dmg. Cant talk about lvling..but with a mentor online you should lvl rather easily.
If dual box is a buffer, without mentor buffs it's much better, while with mentor buffs one or 2 buffs might help, YES-> buffs are a must have, the game is strickly buff dependant. They can last from 2minutes to 30 (buffs after 85 mostly last 30 minutes with a couple exceptions lasting 5).
Your adena question is subjective, everyone has diferent rythms, and spots they go, it depends a lot on your level as well.
Free is nice but servers are packed with BOT, and it's very hard to login so
Actually 30 minutes is a lot for the average player..before we just had very few buffs with 40 minutes duration..most were 20 minutes (and they were MANY to be casted) and dances/songs are just 2 minutes duration (but afect all party) and are very important aswell...
Yes, at higher lvls, party is a demand, there always buffers in party when you hit 79+ places. Till then you can make parties at 68+ on tower of insolence with some bladedancer/swordsinger/warcrier/dominator if u want buffs..but you have to shout for party or create a party room with party matching ingame feature (this feature makes it easier to find members for what u need).
TBH i played solo till 74 and it wasnt hard IMO. but i had mentor, but you might have some trouble finding one (for constant buffs) on new servers.
