well, there was no problems if it would have worked untill +9 or +10(not +15), or something like ""ÿou can use it 3-5 times/weapon"" or maybe reduce your enchant by 1, 2 or 3 if fails.
I wonder how many more Destiny Packs were sold this month compare to last month. I'd imagine it's a lot.
Any way, I reckon it should stay. My opinion is based on following:
It's already out and certain people already got their shiny weapons. This situation is not much different from any other "new" item in game. People who buy Adena(and they do like crazy, just look at Adena prices) the same way get hold of all top tier items faster anyway, and the rest play catch up. So I think the damage has been already done, people who could have afford +15 straight away, got it, rest of players might buy some occasionally.
Yes, there are some dedicated players that do work hard for the stuff they get, but they are as rare as uranium on earth - so you can cut the bs about your top clan farming hardcore. More like hardcore ranger scripting and taking shifts to watch over whole party :D
I think that they might remove it in the future since they opened new servers maybe they had to get some money to pay the bills or something and it seems to be working since I've heard that some guy from Naia bought 52 Distiny Packs to get an Apocalypse Thrower +15

Considering some TOP players use programs for PVP, and that only TOP players will buy these scrolls, yes, we -legits- are F'ed.
So yes whenever you go pvp, get ready to be 2shoted becoz the said attacker AUTO-targeted you with a 15+ weapon.

Most 'TOP' players have cheated in some way, form or another. Rare is the individual that can devote so much time to a single game. Even rarer is the player that can go without sleep for 2 months.
Sounds like most of you have never actually used the L2 Store or NC Coin, first and foremost, you can't buy as many packs as you have money, you are limited in how much NC coin you can buy in a month, and that limit is low like $50 or so a month, that's like two packs.

You can save up to 70% on purchasing Time Cards and converting it into NCoin. Yes prices at L2shop are rip off, but then NCoin is even more...
Regarding the event this month, why you wonder all major sites that sell NCsoft Time Cards are out of stock right now :D:D:D

as the guy said there easy ways to get even the nccoins...and i had some friends that didn't use more than 20 scrolls to make +15 the weapon..so the previous reply i hear 50-100 packs are simple bs..looks like this guys wanna play the smart *** and to be the only one with those weapon..anyway as idea it's really bad..and i could destroy a private server in some weeks..and while we saw that on off it's even more terrible..atleast on those priv server u could found some bless scrolls with a ammount of mats/adena..but wait a second here the only option is campaign?which need 35..not really fair guys and thats not balance for the most of as!
I have to agree with Narazdache (http://boards.lineage2.com/member.php?u=167400) on the NCoinz rip off becauce I've purchaged 3000 NCoinz which is 50 US Dollars and converting Dollars to Euros I was supposed to pay only 37 Euros but no... I had to pay 50 Euros for them.
If you go on xe dot com and convert you can see that I have actually paid 65 US Dollars.
So yeah... It's a rip off.

I call TOP to players who achieve TOP gear, status, level, pvp. No matter what you use to get there those players will still be TOP.

February 1 to February 8, 2012, is the final week that the following bonus items will be included: Hair Accessory Life Stone, Lucky Weapon Enchant Stone (R-Grade), Feather of Blessing, Scroll: Enchant Weapon of Destruction (R-Grade). On February 8, 2012, the bonus items will be changed to different ones which will be announced at that time.

Yes as players we are ****** off about this ruining the balance of the game.
Now stop and reverse rolls. As NCSoft they probably saw more money since they put this item in the L2 shop 2 weeks ago than they have seen in the last 2 years. more money in 14 days than in 730 days. Thats called a smart buisiness move in my mind.

I think your definition of balance is way off.
Considering people can come off with 5-10k dmg from weapons +3 (as a nuker most of times), i fail to see how more people having acess to this makes the game any more balanced. Cause in the end, there is still NOTHING to mitigate such damage increase.
You won't see people with +10 sets out of nowhere to counter this increase, so no, the balance isn't here. L2 -being so gear dependant- is not ready to introduce weapons above 13 just like that.
So again, just because a wider population is able to get such OEd items does not, in any way, make a game more balanced, since the game is not providing eficient/viable/easy-acess counter measures to top agaisnt such items.
For these players, now is even more: the first to hit is the first to win.
Honestly, if someone wants to spend 1-2k $ on a game so I can play free, I really don't care. PvP balance was thrown out the window long ago and the dev team actually caring about pvp as well(though Tauti is supposed to have some significant pvp updates so maybe actually care again). As long as the new pve content(raid bosses mostly) don't actually "require" cash shop items to succeed then I really don't care. In another game I knew someone who blew $15,000 from his BP Oil Spill settlement on the game in one day... If these people want to fund new content being created I again don't care. If the game stops being fun for me, I leave. There's way too many other games for me to really care.
