So with the new influx of players returning with F2P coming alive, I figured I'd check in and see where are the NA prelude/retail players are at?
I played as a Silver Ranger named Sequence on the Sieghardt server. I was a part of the original "ICA"...or "Inner Carebear Alliance" that controlled the first castle's on server. We had a bunch of good times battling Tempest and Cata and all those clans, and from reading these boards it appears a lot of people remember those days, even people from other servers.
Anyways, just wanted to see if people were around, and if anyone is interested in bringing back the prelude days and starting a clan here on Bartz.

Awesome, really good to hear theres people still kicking around. I'm just getting past 40 now and Im re hooked. I havent played since before c1...(when they first introduced dragons to be exact). I'm getting some people to come back and play so in due time Im sure we will cross paths.

Started C3 on lionna > aria with Monkey and then WhiteOrder. Just starting back up now. Originally played a Silver Ranger and then switched to Sword Singer and eventually Sword Muse. It's good to be back!
Started up a guild here with a few guys, calling it Icon. Got to level 4 last night while the rest of our group installs and gets going. Anyone interested PM me here or in game. Vent's already good to go.
I played from Prelude to C4(?) I think. I was a level 50 Gladiator on Lionna, part of a fairly no-name clan but I enjoyed the company.
I've kept up with L2 a bit, only taking this free opportunity as a chance to really dive back into it. Gotta say, I don't particularly care for most of the changes they made in GoD. Glad they eased up on the grind, though they sort of ruined the leveling curve and the whole awakening concept in general is terribly flawed. Sadly, all MMOs seem to travel down that fateful path of an awakening/rebirth system and it almost always sucks and/or leads to the downfall of the game. (I won't point examples but I have plenty.)
Still, I suppose I can't blame NC for trying to redo their game since it is aging. Though I don't play much, I hope to awaken just to see if the idiocy of the implementation of it is counteracted by the quality of the play from that point onward.

Gave up my account years ago to a friend who was still playing. Got enticed by the F2P. Have barely been able to stay connected for longer than about 10-15 minutes a pop for a couple of days, tempted to throw the towel in again. Shame =/ I don't think the fewer severs can handle the influx.
