new classes of lineage is really cool i like them but old lineage feel are lost, you dont have more the feel of the epics starting villages and exploring all maps while lving its worthless to do everything now because u get everything for free.
you cant level where u want now because some monsters give very low xp and are harder to kill so its useless to level in alot of places like pavel ruins,beast farm,death pass, near giran places near dion places(only cruma) near heine places... ;(
I used to LOVE the Dion music, and the Giran one. Back at the very start of C3 I'd get loads of thread though the manor system then port to Giran and sell it, the music made it feel like such a bustling market city and like I was a real wheeler dealer in the market.

I miss the epicness of old L2... I came back for GoD because it's free but it just doesn't feel the same anymore. Leveling up is less epic and it's more of a race to 85 and all your gear is free, hardly any worry of death or getting your *** kicked. The days when the Elves would get mad that you're a human treading on their sacred elven village are long gone... :(
I mean, when you first set foot in Dion and then spend weeks in that town going around for parties and such...
But it's cool right? I mean we can hit 85 within a few weeks and then show off our shiney gear that everyone gets for free.

its you who doesnt seem to understand, in any game especially one that was such a grind fest, when the game reaches a certain point, it has to creat a fast way to it or people would get bored and lose interest before they reached the part that took the devs such a long time to create, and what they're actualy eager to have the player try,plus can you even imagine how long it wouldve take a normal player to get to 99? or at least 86
it is meant so that you can enjoy the new parts, yes i as well love the old lineage, it was my first mmo, and it will always have a special place in my heart, i used to fall asleep with the music from giran when i left my charater to sell stuff **** it, but if it keept the same gameplay, same areas, same lvling rute, you couldnt play it for 8 years man
things have to change, thats how things evolve, lineage is still lineage no mather what anyone would say, no 30 day or 90 day items will change the game, it will only offer a temp help untill your up on your feet and ready to start fighting your way up from 86 to 99, lineage is entering a new phase my friend, all you got to do now is decide if you will join the ride or not
Of course it is still lineage 2, of course things have to change. But it doesn't change the fact that the FEEL of the game has changed. For me anyways and I'm sure others, the epic feel of leveling is gone.
I think it is you who doesn't understand, I LOVED C3/C4. I moderately stay interested in GoD and leveling because I want to see what this game is like at 85. Everyone likes different things about a game. It doesn't matter if a game needs to change or get with the times, there are still people who preferred the game before all the updates.
Opinions and nostalgia, that is what this is. It's not so much GoD bashing which I assume you are thinking it is. It's more along the lines of "people who miss the game it was a few years ago".
Also, I could totally play C4 for 8 years. Maybe you couldn't, but I could. :p
i would never in no situation be against the old chronicles if they would want to open new servers with them, i did love the game back then as well, but yeah your title made it seem like a GoD bash, so i talked to you acordingly

The BGM changed probably because the rights to the music might have lapsed and it might have been cheaper just to compose new stuff instead of renewing the old stuff.
