Two clannies husband and wife share a computer, her account was hacked but his wasn't. They deleted anything that couldnt be sold which is just wrong. And transferred everything else off his account.
Neither of them use forums or the such and its not a virus because both accounts would of been hacked.
Before you say anything GM's no longer restore anything and even though they have power to restore everything. We all know they got the power to restore everything they just have gotten extremely lazy since it went F2P. People are not even getting their adena back or gear that is useful on their toons. Nevermind people who are losing dyes etc. People who are getting hacked are having their dyes deleted on them which has no value to someone hacking them just being spiteful now.
Sace honestly something is wrong with L2's security system since GoD everyone knows it, its time to come out and tell us how to protect ourselves from YOUR flaw. It has come apparent almost everyone in game and the forums something is wrong with your databases and something is getting everyone hacked.
There is just way too many people who are getting hacked that share computers with others who aren't getting hacked eliminating the naysayers thoughts about viruses or trojans.
Sace we all know the L2 database has been hacked at least 1 prior time a few years back, if it is hacked then its NCSoft responsibility to restore people's accounts the way they were not bs mentee certs or bound gear.
The policy for people being hacked has change you owe the community to explain why. Before GoD we would have all gear restored and adena, our dyes, our augments, and our elements. Only thing we couldn't recover was stacked items IE mats, recs, enchants.
We all know each item in L2 has a unique ID and it is easy to track where it went. We been asking for a way to increase security for our accounts for years and nothing has changed. In the past anyone who received hacked gear would be banned and items recovered and the person who bought the hacked would lose the adena they spent on it but would be able to play their account again.
SO Sace it is time to tell us all what is really going on!
I will reply with a short and simple answer. The reason your friend was "HACKED" was one of the following reasons.
A. The user shared information with someone they trusted and got pwnt.
B. The user was Keylogged (this would be hard since gameguard disables any keylogging within the lineage 2 login screen).
C. The user tried to use a fake bot and gave their information to the "HACKER" therefore got ROCKED.
D. She was a victim of phishing
E. See Above.
Also just think logically about this. If one person can get hacked remotely then why would the "HACKER" target your **** *** charcter that had nothing. kthanks.

One of my two accounts got hacked sometime after GoD released. Before GoD I had two accounts I was paying for and using regularly. Shortly before GoD I had to take a break from the game so I could focus on a three month project. I changed both of the passwords on my game and master accounts and I use passwords that are varied and extremely long.
I didn't share my info with anyone and I don't use duplicate ids or passwords on forums. I use multiple layers of spyware and virus detection and none of them found anything then or now. Basically, what I'm saying, is it is HIGHLY unlikely that this is my fault.
Basically, for one main reason: I have TWO accounts and only one got hacked into and stripped. If it had been a virus then it would have nabbed both accounts and not just one. I'm also not stupid, so it wasn't due to phishing.
NCsoft has had their account security compromised before and it took them awhile to announce it. A lot of people didn't even get their stuff back, because it wasn't policy to return stolen items or adena back then.
The one account that got stripped has my 79 cardi on it, so I'm basically super ****** about that.
Even then it doesn't matter. The community wanted an added layer of protection in the form of an authenticator added in a LONG time ago. NCsoft hasn't listened. An authenticator pretty much solves hacking problems. I have never had a problem with an account that has a form of authentication added on to it. Pretty much the ONLY way for an authenticated account to get 'hacked' is for either a companys account security to get completely compromised, or for someone to sit there and feed the authenticator code that is generated to someone else.
Just so you know Virus scanners can only pickup a virus if the code or instructions are known ... So saying you had all up to date virus scanners and this nonsense is really pointless in terms of lineage 2 game accounts being "HACKED". Also you have to understand there is a lot more to computer security than creating the SUPER password and using SOFTWARE firewalls for added layers of security.
For all you know someone connected to your wifi and captured your ****. Also they could have had access to your email if you shared it or left it logged in somewhere. You have no idea how it happened; so to put blame on NCsoft is just stupid. While I wrap this convo up answer this; Do your email accounts have authenticators? Does your Bank account have Authenticators ? There are many things you login into just fine and your account never gets "HACKED". Why is that ? kthanks

Your not very bright are you?
Did you read the post or just make a generic ******* post?
1. They are husband and wife, they have 3 accounts between them only 1 got hacked.
2. If they were keylogged all 3 accounts would be hacked
3. The user used a fake program but other two accounts were not touched again, your grasping at straws.
4. Person does not answer emails or go to websites and put in information about L2 ever doesn't even use forums.
5. See above your a moron who cannot read.
Finally Ncsoft database has been hacked before so its not unheard of. This is happening more and more and people are getting hit at random but you keep thinking its something the user did. Can never be the company right? Never?
PS my bank account website has authenicators, IP tracker, and sitekeys. If all 3 don't match it won't allow you to access it even if you have the right password.
User error, just because only one of his accounts got hacked that doesn't mean anything. He could of tried a bot program or an auto-login program with only 1 account.
I have 2.5billion adena, my account username is shiax009 and guess what? I will never be hacked.
So all you idiots believe its someone elses fault no matter what the evidence says over and over again?
Everyone bots right?
/Shakes head
Ive been hacked before and guess what I didnt bot either.
I swear I guess your same kind of person who thinks if a 100 of the same car catches fire its users error over and over again until someone from the company actually says hey guys, our bad thats because of faulty wiring etc.

Think about the nonsense you are saying again for a second, if they had hacked NCSoft database they would have taken your credit card information from your master account and used that instead of bothering with ingame stuff.
The reason your "friend" got "hacked" and his wife wasnt was because there was a security vulnerability just he had, like he said above, left email opened somewhere, used his username or password in some dodgy site, phising, etc...
All of these would only affect one of them. NCSoft will have a much better security system than most of the people playing this game this is a fact no matter how you put it, why would anyone bother hacking NCSoft and spend the time and energy to ultimately be unsuccessful when they can just send a mass email saying they have won a weapon on L2 and people will put in their email address, password and bank details.
Again think before you post nonsense, I was never hacked in Lineage 2 ( played since Open beta ), never, or any MMO, hell I wasnt hacked on ANY account of anything online I have EVER. Everyone I know that has been hacked used some dodgy pleveling website, third party software, left their account unprotected and/or used their username and password on tons of websites, Its user error nothing else, If I am ever hacked its because I made a mistake.
Credit Card information cannot be stored in the same databases as client information.
They are stored in two different databases for protection.
I never been hacked until I was either.
I went 7 years being ultra safe and i got hacked. NCSOFT's DATABASE has been hacked in the past if you been here since 2004 you know that.
It like someone saying Newark, NJ, Detroit, Camden, NJ, Flint Michigan, or Oakland are safe cities because you never been robbed or shot at it has never happened to you until it does.
I love the last thread people who said it never happened to them by the end of thread said it did happen to them and they never did any stupid things you think people do.
The last time I received a patch from NC$oft (last week or the week before) my anti-virus flagged one of the incoming DLL's as a trojan. I'll post the trojan later once I have the information in front of me. As the last patch was picked up by both my systems, both systems flagged the same file with the same trojan. So I told the anti-virus system to delete said infected file. So far game has been working fine. Which brings me to my though, possible but unlikely, that the trojan that came in on the last patch might have contained a key logger which could possibly explain the hacked accounts; like I said unlikely.
I do manage several servers where I work, so I do have half a clue about network security. As of late, seeing all the post about hacked accounts, I now access the forums under a new user name/password than any of my main accounts, plus if I have to access the "path to awaken" web site, the first thing I'll do is change the account password of that account after I leave that site.
I also change my password about every other week too.
Also, I don't open any email attachment claiming to be from NC$oft. Nor do I use any proxy servers to hide my IP address.
If your concerned about your system, I can recommend "Zone Alarm". This software will check with you before it allows any application to send any outgoing internet traffic from FTP to emails. If you use this software don't get trigger happy with the messages otherwize it's a waste of time. This was how I found a virus several years ago.
Anyhow sorry you lost your stuff. I'd most likely quit if it happend to me.

I have no idea about federal law, see you went 7 years without being hacked obviously you thought it was ultra safe. Are you a security expert? Can you describe how safe it was and what were the sa***uards against current methods of account details acquisition?
Again it was your fault it was your friends fault NCSoft wasnt hacked they gave their password away by either letting someone see it over their shoulder, using it as the account name/password on some dodgy website, used third party software and had to give their account details and it got sold on, bought gold and their details were sold on, and many other ways I just dont know about.
You are no security expert so I will take your ignorance and just not knowing any better, like I said many people I know who have been hacked has always been their fault for giving it away in one of the methods described above.
The reasons an account has been hacked often vary player to player, and players do all have some degree of responsibility in being cautious and keeping their account information safe and private. However, we are also working on adding more features that will enhance account security further. Unfortunately for security reasons I cannot give more details on what these measures are and when they will be implemented. Future announcements will detail any enhancements that get implemented.
You are still angry from being hacked. It's plain to see and now become an advocate for all those who have been hacked. I'd like to say that it's silly to be mad over losing virtual items but you and I know that it hurts when we lose stuff that we actually paid time and money (subscriptions not RMT) for. But now we are in an era where there is trouble at both sides of the server. I can guess that NCSoft west is going through some serious issues and struggling to put themselves back together to some semblance of a company so it can run with no worries of drawback. But I suppose the anger is so great that you can not be reasoned with so all I can offer is this comical vision of you bashing at the still standing doors of a company that has it's walls blown from under them. bad karma, dude. rightly deserved.

When I was hacked they didn't get my any cc info because it was not stored in a place they could get it.
I got hacked by an embedded trojan hidden in a replay video. The trojan was produced exactly for l2 hacking proses it was so new it was not discovered by any anti virus programs till 2 days after I got hacked.
So all you idiots believe its someone elses fault no matter what the evidence says over and over again?

you begging for replies and then call them idiots if you dont like their opinion? ...
and what evidence you talking about? can you provide a link or something(nc soft hacked) or you refer to what ur clanmates said?
i remember nc soft once sent emails and asked to change all the passwords, but it was years ago
i know 3 cases of "hacked" accounts of my friends. two tried a free bot and the other one shared his info.
imo anyone can get hacked but chances are low if you are cautious

Heh ... Then you should know gameguard itself is a form of malware and AV's will detect some of its files as a trojan and or virus.

See my post about this... This would not be NCsoft's fault this would be the user's. Now NCsoft could have extra guards to prevent a full compromise but the issue here is you are blaming NCsoft for the vulnerability; which is false.
Your not very bright are you?

1. They are husband and wife, they have 3 accounts between them only 1 got hacked.
OK great you understood the problem fully +1 for you.
2. If they were keylogged all 3 accounts would be hacked
This is where your near sighted kicks in and is a basic assumption of most ignorant people. Either the "HACKER" is waiting for the perfect time or he saw nothing he wanted / needed.
3. The user used a fake program but other two accounts were not touched again, your grasping at straws.
Grasping at straws? I can promise you this is how majority of "HACKED" accounts happen. Please think.
4. Person does not answer emails or go to websites and put in information about L2 ever doesn't even use forums.
Yea and none of us look at **** RIGHT? Think about this really think about this. " I DONT USE THE FORUMS I AM UBER SECURE WEEEE"

Mmmmhmmmmm.......

Since you have the inside scoop on the details of NCsoft please elaborate what database was hacked and when?
You could use search but I dought its still on the forums, but they did announce a database intrusion a few years back. I was hacked a couple chronicles ago. Never registered a virus or keylogger on my comp. I was booted from game and before I could log back in password was changed. Fortunatley they locked the account pretty quick but still llost my armor and wep. Fortunatly back then they replaced everything I lost except stackable Items.
I have never used any programs but I did frequent a certain l2 forum that I expect had something to do with it. I no longer go to blah and have not had any issues since. I do think there is an issue with NcWests security but of course can't prove anything.
I would just say I dont think its always the fault of the person that got hacked.
Just so you know Virus scanners can only pickup a virus if the code or instructions are known ... -LOOOOOOOOOLYou're using a terrible scanner if it doesn't include heuristic scanning techniques...
2. The Hacked account had all the items deleted. If the account was hacked by someone who was looking to steal adena, they will not take the time to 'delete' the items. Same goes for a Criminal (unless it was one of those clean out your house types, even then they will not take what cannot be carried with them)
A Criminal will take EVERYTHING that is of value. If the item cannot be sold, taken with him, etc. Would he take the trouble to 'Delete' or try to break out the screw drivers, hammers to unbolt say a 100 inch tv? They want only disposable items that can be converted to cash quick.
I'd say, look at your own clan and the people your 'friend'/'clannie'/etc has been hanging out with.
A couple of suggestions;
1. Be part of the Clan in-game and keep it in-game.
2. Don't trade Emails and don't send each other 'lulz' RL pix or whatever.
3. Setting up Clan Facebook Sites is an invitation for trouble, especially when you join said Clan Facebook page with your RL Facebook account.
4. Clan Websites are great. I'd suggest joining said website with a brand spanking new Email Address from Yahoo/Google/etc. Try not to use your primary Email Address for the Game and Clan activities as well.
5. Sharing Accounts. Even if you're brothers, cousins, mom and dad, husband and wife, best friends forever or some sentimental bull.sh.it. Things happen. Marriages break up, Brothers think it's fun to have a lol to delete your account, Mom and Dad thinks you should be studying instead of playing. Best Friends become Enemies because you stole his girl or whatever.
NCSoft has only the responsibility to keep your account safe within their own parameters (i.e. what they can control). Like Hospitals, it's not the Doctors Job or his responsibility to provide immediate medical assistance because you decided to do the 100 yard dash carrying a Chain saw while wearing pink lacy underwear during a snowstorm on an oil slicked road.
6. Don't reveal too much. If you do like to chat, don't reveal your own personal details. I've been with my clan for close to three months and people still don't know where I'm really from, my name, what I do for work, etc. Keep it cordial, but don't make it personal. They are your friends only in-game. If you really really think you can trust your 'friend', think again.
Actually the problem with mine was i was in game when I got hacked and there was no way for me to lock my account.
I was pming gm's from my other account and they would not lock my account out as I was watching my account be stripped. Took then 45 minutes till a senior gm finally acknowledge my request and locked them out.
I got no email saying my passwords were change etc. So i had no notice someone was in the midst of hacking me. There was no way to lock out my account no emergency number to call all that was NCSoft poor security measures on its.

So Sace....let me explain MY situation and you can go ahead and continue to pass the buck if you want.
I use long, varied passwords that I change at varied frequencies. I have multiple layers of protection including multiple firewalls, process monitoring, an ip blocking program (basically it blocks any ip I don't set as ok) and multiple spyware/virus scanners. I only use sites that are extremely reputable and any link that ANYBODY sends me I plug into google if I don't recognize it.
I don't share my account info. This is mostly because if you do and you lose something NCsoft basically won't give it back. Most other companies do NOT follow this policy, but whatever. I just don't do it.
I don't use any third-party programs with l2 and have never wanted to. It's a game, I play it to relax, why do I want a program doing my relaxing for me?
I did everything I could REASONABLY do to protect myself, but I still got hacked and lost hundreds of millions of adena worth of stuff.
At what point are YOU guys going to take a little effing responsibility? At what point do you guys say, "Ok, as a consumer you did everything you could, WITHIN REASON, to protect your account. Here's your stuff back. We're sorry."
At a certain point we, as consumers, can only do so much to protect our accounts.
Finally Ncsoft database has been hacked before so its not unheard of. This is happening more and more and people are getting hit at random but you keep thinking its something the user did. Can never be the company right? Never?
That was July 2006. And if i remember correctly they took the game and play nc's web site offline for 2 days while they changed everyones passwords.
The number of people that are complaining on these message boards that they have been hacked is a small percentage of players who play the game. If the database had been hacked then i would expect a far greater number of players would have had their accounts stripped of assets.
OK more people might be being hacked now than before GoD but as its free to play now there are probably alot more players than their were before.
Plus NC soft would have to be completely stupid (although i would not put it passed them) to store passwords in plain text in the database. They would almost definitely store a hash of the password so if their systems were compromised someone would have to use a brute force attack to get the actual passwords from the hash. Which depending on the complexity of your password would take ages.
I dont know how your friends lost their equipment but i would say that NC softs database being hacked is probably the least likely option.
But you are right in that NC soft should give equipment back if a person can prove that it was not their fault.
It was in 2006 the summer of 2006 when NCSoft Reset all master passwords because there database was hacked.
Aion had their database hacked early last year and master reset all password and finally read the article I just posted.
i think you are wasting your time
many people say "hacking doesn't exist" or "you tried to use a bot program"
the same people usually think a httpS site is 100% or 90% SAFE, yeah its has a safety protocol and blah blah blah, belive me, not big a deal
Security depends on a LOT of other factors and many of them ARE NOT UP TO THE USER
maybe they had the username from some time ago and some people with a bot program tried different passwords or they just do random user/passwords login. it is obvious they dont crack any master account, you dont see any trace on logging in so they operate with the game user/password and there are many ways of loosing your username to bad people as average player with average computer skills.
I got hacked my self last month, I have about 5 accounts, yet only one of them got hacked, My AVG is always up to date, I only visit certain websites all the time, no weird/dodgy webs that I've no idea what they are, the things I download aren't anything stupid or 3rd party related that involves putting my password in, still though, being hacked was totally my fault apparently, according to the idiots that post in threads like these because apparently, they know everything and how hackers work.

Right I will just take your word for it, just like people coming here swearing they got banned for no reason "I NEVER USED ANY 3rd PARTY, NEVER!". Or like every convicted criminal that pleads not guilty every time.
Sorry this is the internet, you saying you dont visit dodgy sites and that you are a super safe internet savy person means f*** all.

It is still your fault :D
It can mean what ever you want it to bro, you don't know me or have any idea what things I visit, the only thing I really go on is youtube, 4 different forums, facebook and some other game related news sites, then sure I'll watch some live stream and log in to my account there and such, still non of those are dodgy websites as they are widely used by everyone, but just like all the other monkeys you continue to prove my point by thinking you know how it all works when in reality, you have no idea.
A hacker will **** anything using random word generators perhaps that fit into the box as long as it means getting an account, hell my cousin actually pulled off writing random words into id/pass once and got into a totally random persons account on another MMO.

Now run along troll.
Again I dont care what **** sites you visit or what dodgy sites you go to, its user fault, Its pretty clear this will go nowhere, I dont care about you being hacked you dont need to explain yourself to me or make **** up about your cousin putting in some random username and password and it working.

No, it's not the users fault, sometimes yes, others no, please try pulling your head out of your **** for just a day or so and perhaps light will be shown, the fact of my cousin putting random words into the ID/Pass was basically to say how that's one way of hacking, now imagine a bot programs doing that constantly till they come across an account, end of the day, why would only 1 of my 5 accounts get hacked? care to explain?
p.s lol at "make stuff up", that's what your doing as you go along thinking like you have any idea what your talking about.
You've got to love the "I was never hit by a car so it can't happen to anyone else!" arguments.
It's a fact that a simple user/password system offers very little protection. Because with today's Internet with security holes, evolving trojans, keyloggers and email phishing, it is almost impossible to stay 100% secure and protected all the time.
It is everyones responsibility to protect themselves. Obviously. But how much can you ask of a teenager just wanting to play a game? Common sense or a certification in advanced computer security?
We can only hope that NCsoft does something to their lacking security system. In the mean time this is just another reason not to invest too much $$$ in your account that might be lost and never replaced. Give NCsoft some incentive to act.
You know how long that would take if you choose a reasonable length username and password.
I believe that if you enter the incorrect password 5 times it locks your account (or at least it used to). therefore if they tried to randomly guess a users password they would have to be pretty lucky.
On the second point about only 1 out of 5 accounts being hacked.
1) you can only run 1 copy of l2 on a pc so i presume you have 5 pc's (or have they changed that too). so maybe 1 of those 5 pcs has a keylogger and thats your account that got hacked
2) maybe they know your username/password for all 5 accounts and have not got around the hacking the other 4 accounts yet.
3)maybe you changed the passwords after account 1 has hacked and they didnt get time to **** the other 4.

Slightly offtopic, but I want to correct information:
0) You have infinite number of tries
1) You can run as many copies as you wish. This has never changed.

I only have 1 PC in which I log into all 5 accounts, though I don't run more than 2 accounts at once if I don't need to, I only changed the password on the account that got hacked, you would think I would have changed the passwords on the other accounts but I didn't, may get round to it soon, I've still no idea how I got hacked, especially with only 1 account, if I was key logged they would of went through all my accounts, but they never did so key logged is out the window I'd say.

so, that rules out keyloggers and main account hacking (since you got no main for logging or changing password). did you ever used that username on other websites/forums or as ingame nickname? they probably needed just the user and the password was just repetitive trying.
"I don't use any antivirus since they eat a lot of my CPU, and I use third party programs all the time, I buy adena weekly, I spend my time on **** site most of the day, and I'm used to share my accounts with other clan members. I never get hacked as for now"
User error, just because only one of his accounts got hacked that doesn't mean anything. He could of tried a bot program or an auto-login program with only 1 account.
I have 2.5billion adena, my account username is shiax009 and guess what? I will never be hacked.
Incidentally, I just read that NC are including an account PIN number (6-8 digits) to every account.
once you log in on the character selection screen you must USE YOUR MOUSE to enter your pin (once per session until you quit L2).
Another useful touch that might help against loggers/trojans.
As an aside, I changed job in January, and I had a call from the old IT department asking for the embedded encryption password for my laptop, they couldnt just change password on the windows server to get in to it. I told them what it was and then immediately changed my password on the encryption system at the new job..
Yes folks, after 30+ years in the IT industry, I re-used a password on a completely unrelated system, so it DOES happen.
Excuse me, I am just off to self-flagelate for that breach.
Okay, the people saying NCsoft database hasn't been hacked are obviously VERY UNAWARE THAT THE NCSOFT DATABASE HAD IN FACT BEEN COMPROMISED Either early last year or 2010. and the culprits got a hold of A LOT OF USER DATA. NOT their credit card information. To which my AION account was compromised and all my items of value removed from me. To which the NCsoft GM team KINDLY checked the system And not only restored me but i hope that they ALSO caught a lovely little ring of jerk offs going around hacking people.
I have just logged in to my game for the first time since 9/7/11 and found EVERYTHING GONE. My level 76 ST was already pretty poor and weak but now None of my characters have ANYTHING.
No i did not surf the web to any suspicious websites Or followed any suspicious links
Yes i do have several anti Virus programs
No i have NOT logged into my Lineage 2 Account since the Expiration of my lineage 2 Account (which obviously was before GoD Expansion) (which negates the use of KEYLOGGERS to a certain extent)
YES i have submitted a ticket as of less than an Hour ago
Just because you haven't been hacked doesn't mean the people crying Hackers are crying Wolf.
It's blazingly obvious i would not do this to my account, as it has COMPLETELY crippled my ability to play the game at all. I was going to play with my girlfriend and my also returning best friend since her machine isnt as powerful as mine and i got slammed in the face by this.
I Hope to god OP that they DO restore my stuff, and your clannies because if i don't get my stuff back,I am Never playing this game again( I cant just re-do 8 years of playing L2), But I DO have SOME faith in the GM's of NCSOFT especially after they fixed me back up in AION. And to be honest they haven't truly let me down yet... But we will see.

I think your wrong. With NCsoft launcher and L2 running. I double clicked on my NCSoft launcher icon and instead of opening a second window it opened the existing one. So i clicked on lineage 2 in nc soft launcher and selected run game (with the game already running) and it wont launch a second instance of lineage 2. So icant run 2 copies. and Im pretty sure they stopped people running 2 copies on the same pc since they started using gameguard.

You can. There's a nice thing called File->Settings->Advanced->check mark on Allow multiple instances of the same game.

Jesus Christ, go look in the launcher settings, there's an option to allow multiple clients, select it ..................
could it be those evil gold farmers from korea/china etc knowing all the holes of an older ver l2 is then able to **** ppl...no clue? Alot of other games have this problem lately.
They made it even safer.
Pls dont share your pin code, kinda defeats the purpose.

Chinese Gold Farmers have the Path to Awakening to help themselves to unlimited Adena. They can keep running the Path for freebie Adena.
I feel sorry for your clannies... but isn't like 1/2 of all "My clan mate got hacked and lost all their gear" threads on the forums made by you? I've been in a couple clans, sometimes at the same time, during that time I haven't know anyone in them to be hacked and lose all their stuff... I hate to make this connection... but your clan has a really specific issue if so many of your clannies have all their gear stolen... Either it's someone not to be trusted that's getting some of your guys' info. Or i'd suggest checking your own website's info... because you guys have an issue somewhere and i'd spend more time figure it out what it is on your end than NCSofts...
to be fair i logged in today to find all my money and mats gone! no one has my account details and i've only ever logged in to the game from my home pc! so hacking does take place i'm sure! no big deal tho! so i lost a few million! i'll recover i guess!

I'm so sorry to hear that! Perhaps the PIN thing will keep it from happening again! Good luck in the future!

thx man! like i said tho, i'll survive! just had to xfer money over from my other account so i could use gatekeeper lol! luckily all my stuff was the 30 day equipment so at least i still had armour lol
Love the PIN thing ... should help a lot ... however ...
I know too many people who weren't simply hacked -- they were totally stripped in under 2 minutes.
They were in game.
They got bumped with the 'Another user has logged in to this account' type message.
By the time they got back online -- in less than 2 minutes -- everything was gone.
That's not a person hacking in and trading stuff to another toon, that's a program instantaneously stripping the account.
None of these were botters, eBayers, etc. They weren't high enough or rich enough to be.
