As far as I know, you get 3 awakening gcs for each +10 skill you had. (is it correct?)
For a new player, is it better enchant every skill you are able to enchant to +10 and then just use or sell the new gcs?

i had about... 15 skills all from +8-+15 and i got around 64 SGC Maybe it depends on if they are Third or Fourth class skills? I had about 5 skills that were 4th class skills at around +6-+8 I'll try to do some tests with some of the toons i have.

How did you get fourth class skills before awakening!?!? :P
Well there is the Mage, then Cleric, then PP, than Heirophant, then Iss enchanter... so by my count it's not all that hard to have 4th job class skills before awakening... you must be thinking because going to awakening is your 4th class change quest..
According to this for each +10 skill you had, you will get 6 essences (that you can trade for 3 superior gc)[which make me think my thought was right], and also yes, according to this info there is a difference between 2nd class and 3rd class skills.

Nice info there, wish I had found it before 85 :o just from playing today I collected 11 lesser gc unintentionally and would have loved to get some superior gc for sonatas. Hope people find this chart useful in the future.

Is there any cool place to farm lesser gcs for a level 82+ dagger?
