Cuz when I was downloading it, it said 6.8gb, after installation 21gb.
This aint like forsaken world or pwi where when you download the game it goes into a folder with pack1 pack2 and 3 and after instalation you can erase that folder since it weights half size of the game.
After downloading L2 where is the folder or file you no longer need since it just the 6.8gb installation folder or the downloading and installation doesn't works like that on Ncsoft
Get a bigger hard drive. :) NC is not going to change how their installation system works just because a few people have small... hard drives. ;)
Besides, it does removed the files, patch files as well, when it is finished installing them. I know this because when I moved it from my other system to my external HD the Launcher needed down re-download the install files again on my main PC.
No I'm not mad about the size or QQing I'm saying that if its like PWI or other games in which you download it and in a folder comes let's say lineage 2 installer and other files that start installing the game and when its complete that folder and files are just wasting space and you delete them or the NCSOFT launcher deletes that automatically when the game is installed.

Because I haven't played it since got error 114 and saw somewhere I got delete zone alarm filehidden in some folder
OK I am not sure if you understood how L2 installer works: You download Launcher, hit Install game, and it starts downloading files of total size around 6.8 GB. Those files are compressed and contain all game files. You can see those files if you open your Lineage II folder and look there. Once they are downloaded, installer unpacks them, and deletes those temporary files. Mine did, and my install has around 15 GB. Patches are downloaded same way, packed files that get unpacked and deleted afterwards.
If your client is that big, it may contain those packed files which are:
a) stored for sharing with other users via Pando Media Booster peer to peer network (I do not know how does that thing work so I do not give my hand for it)
b) installer got interrupted somehow before fully finishing and deleting those files and they stay there now.

You'll be back later claiming the game doesn't work, don't delete anything and leave the L2 folder alone
Well you can always hit "Check for consistency" in Launcher.
I guess those .ncpatch files are kept for PMB to distribute content but I may be wrong, normally patches went to Patch folder and were unpacked from there.

only tried pwi/fw and other clones but L2 is far superior than those in textures, details, skills and overall graphics, even if this game is running on an old engine (unreal engine 2.5)

Same with mine, and there are no downloaded client files or patches to be found anywhere on my hard drive. As I said before after installation the installer removes them, same with the patches.
