I got 72 Bres, 490 Bsoe, 50 Top Life Stones R grade, and 65 High Life Stones R grade from the Tersi's Light event.
Judging by the other items in that pick they got them the same way.
Also consider this - at the time MANY people used this event to the fullest potential and at the time people were selling Brez for 250-300k and selling them 5-10-20-50 at a time.
What you should be more concerned about is how many people got those lvl 5 dyes... because this is what got a select few hundreds of millions to a billion adena from the event and was effectively why the server was constantly lagging and crashing due to the chance to the chance for others achieving the same for a certain 2-3 week period.

they exploited (not illegal) the tersi's event of course, just like it sounds you did
Hey! I didn't sit around with 20 toons spawning the items. I set up a buy store and worked my fingers raw doing nothing but popping the seeds for about two weeks. If I was exploiting something I really did a bad job at saving myself time and effort.
