whats up guys, i played L2 way back in the day with C2 up until C4.
just got back into L2 because i heard it was free and made a character on bartz.

i was just wondering which server has the biggest english population?
seem's everywhere i go on bartz people are speaking spanish, Portuguese, or German and i get called an american *** for speaking english. lol

P.S i'm not american i'm from Greece, living in Canada and just feel much more comfortable communicating with people in english.

thanks.
Chronos has the biggest population of English speakers. But all of the new servers have small English speaking communities. Bartz actually has more English speakers than Shilen/Magmeld because of the new timezone changes.

If I were you I'd stay on Bartz for now. Chronos is overpopulated and it's sometimes hard to log in. And Bartz is the only server left with a North American timezone.

I'm Canadian as well, and I play on Shilen. There are several English speaking and International clans here. But a lot of North American players are waiting for Server Transfers to Bartz because it is the most suitable timezone for us.

Btw we are the minorities on NCwest servers. So head over to the Bartz server Sub-forum and start searching for an English clan. http://boards.lineage2.com/forumdisplay.php?f=259
I've only met english speakers.. but I generally dont talk to anyone unless its to tell them to leave me alone or to drop dead.

--Chrono btw.
Yeah, Bartz is the best place for a new player to be. Even more so if you're in Canadian time zones.

As far as the BRs giving you crap about not speaking HUEHUE, just ignore it. There's an enormous base of player that speak english on this server. You just have to get to know them, and get past all the HUEHUEs in the lowbie zones.

Feel free to mail me in game if you need some help.
thanks guys for all your help!
i'll be keep'n an eye out, pretty much outta the noob towns.
on a side note: man the game has changed, getting to 40 AW in 1 night would have been mind blowing back when i remember playing C2.
Yeah, lots of culture shock here. The biggest for me was realizing that even at level 84, I really didn't matter. Then I hit 85 and it was a whole new world. The game really does start at awakening. Luckily they've made it pretty simple to get that far.
