Last week i got a mail from NCLOLSOFT..... they banned one account i had , and i had forgot that i had it ( it was a toon 65 around lvl that never boted and created it just to pass my time when i didnt log with main).
The account haven't loged in the game since 06/07/2011...... and they banned it claiming it was using 3rd party programs... JUST LOL!!
P.S. TY NCLOLSOFT that you reminded me that i had another account too!!!!
If they do not unban my friend, then he quit ofc, which means I won't make a new char neither(NO botting char) and without botting you need l2store XP items! The point is simply - you don't earn money!
Just investigate your information before you just randomly ban people!
Well it might be good that Tera was stolen. It might be a better game now actually, which I never thought. But this treatment here is amazing...

And when you finally get banned, maybe weeks or months later (while standing in town afk not doing anything illegal) then you will come here complaining how you got "unfairly banned for being innocent". Wanna bet?
And those "legit people" you speak of, they've probably done more cheating than you would know, that's why they got served first.
Even if NCsoft can't ban all bots at once, any number of banned cheaters helps improve the situation.

Well...you have a point at this ...BUT.... as i said i am botting 4 years and never got banned. Some friends of mine (including some very close friends) got banned. I can say 110% (for my very close friends) that they didn't bot at all, but still they got banned. Thats why i yell here....NCLOLSOFT you say that you ban the bots....no...i don't think so...you ban everyone who got reported even if he does not bot!!!
P.S. Trust me...if i got banned (and i dare them to find me) i will never come here to QQ.

Yeah, I kinda figured as much, since it wouldn't make any sense for a botter to openly admit it unless he's trying to lure NCSoft to initiate some kind of policy change. Whether they banned you or not, they've obviously hurt you by removing some people in the game you can't live without. Maybe you'll quit now since your buddies got axed and the only real consequence is that the server would be losing a player that couldn't **** it without the "Easy" button.

Ofc i am trying to lure NCLOLSOFT to investigate better the reports than just hit the ban button to anyone who got reported....
But...they can't check anything as it seems cause either they are bored of their job, or they dont have the "check programs" they are saying to us or they are COMPLETLY DUMP and don't know how to use them.
You say that if they ban me it will be 1 less bot in the game...think of this....1 botter that respect himself, has more than 1 botted toon in case of ban...consider it as backup plan.
It is not so easy to get rid off botters ,exploiters, farmers..etc.. but in my case can easily give one botted toon to my each of my friends to play with. What if this happens to you? Will you continue play? (i mean if they ban you unfair).
However about those unfair bans.

2. Legit Player will now become a non-Legit player because if I am going to get banned for "Cheating" I might as well actually cheat.
Lineage 2 is so addictive that even after being banned many people will still come back Legit or not, until something new comes out that is comparable to fill that addiction.

Exactly. I don't want to quit this game. But now that my character got banned(lvl 87 rogue, which is hard to lvl) for third-party use, which I never did or have had on my computer, then I really do consider to make a new character with some bot program. To reach the lvl I had before. Then I doesn't lose much either if it's gonna get banned.
It was a really hard work to make it lvl 87 and all that work and effort are lost in seconds thanks to NCsofts fail-judgement. I am a kind of "hard-core" gamer and buying a lot of l2store stuff to aid me in xping.
I hope they take my letter serious and unban me. Have anyone not-guilty been unbanned so far??

I am always curious when people post that someone they 100% know didn't bot get banned. How do you know they didn't use any 3rd party programs? Unless you were sitting on their lap the entire time they've played every toon on that account, you can't know.

Translation: "I was botting, got banned, and want to lie about it but people won't believe me, so I'll claim I am botting on a different character."
This is a common psychological tactic (prevalent in children) to support a larger lie with a smaller truth (or smaller lie, whichever is more convenient).
There is no possibility for a player to be banned by accident. Our ban process is very thorough and each case is fully investigated before action is taken against the account.
