LF Aeore with Twilight, what's your p.def?

Aeore Healer Started Last reply 26 posts
Looking for an Aeore with Twilight robes, I just wanna know your p.def.

With no buffs.
With ISS, Sonatas and Knights.
With ISS, Sonatas and Wizard.

Also any other stuff that would affect it like if you're in clan if you have clan advent, sub skills and so on.

Thanks for your time! :D
I only have +1 on the circlet so far, hope that dont interfere too much.

No buffs 1340

Iss, Sonata and Knight 2491

Iss, Sonata and Wizard 1623

This is in a lvl 10 clan with all clan skills though. I will not be dropping tag on siege day to check pdef without those, sry.

I clicked off clan advent for the testing, and I have no tattoos.

That's brilliant thanks! I've got a very basic formula that loosely works for healer that +1 p.def on armor = +3 p.def overall with knights so the +28 from the rest of the enchants would make +86 = 2577 p.def in twilight with knights.

My current armor (you know what it is, you have it too) is about 2550 with Wizard and ISS/Sonata, no clan. That's also with awakening cloak, +4 S shirt and +3 S belt.

I was going to compare it to +3 vorpal and a +4 immo heavy BP but since I can't log in I can't at the moment :(
Wait a min, u have 900 more pdef than me on your healer?

Are you actually running around in a heavy armor?
IN another thread he stated to use Immo heavy breastplate with robe parts.
Actually you're both right. :)
4 pc vorpal with immo BP is:

1317 unbuffed, no clan skills, no cloak/belt/shirt, lvl 6 p.def sub passive.
1488 unbuffed, no clan skills, with +3 S belt (17 p.def), +4 S Shirt (34 p.def) and Aeore Cloak (50 p.def), lvl 6 sub passive.

The BP is +6 blessed immo tho, but doesn't add THAT much more than +4 standard.
id think that 5-set bonus would be better than some extra pdef?
id think that 5-set bonus would be better than some extra pdef?

+15% casting speed, +9% m.atk, +7 runspeed, +mp regen, -5% crit dmg recieved and open cloak slot for 4pc vorpal and a +4 immo bp.

+15% casting, +15% m.atk, 3% +mcrit or heal, +2 wit or int -1men, +7 stun resist on Twilight.

The m.atk isn't that much of a difference and isn't important to heal, the ++wit/int isn't that big, the mcrit boost would be 1 crit in 300 nukes and the +10 stun resist is really low benefit, anyone remember the tests on dyn with +15 stun resist?

Now consider it'd cost 1bil+ for a full 120 resist bound twilight set, which gives you less defence for a small benefit.

Heavy wise gives the same p.def with wizard harmony as a healer would have in twilight with knights harmony, the 20% skill re-use is a MUST. There are extra benefits too.
i didnt understand what u wrote at all

You said the 5 piece set bonus would be better than some extra p.def. I explained how the 4 piece vorpal set gives a great bonus, almost the same as twilight and with an immo bp makes the set have more p.def than twilight.

No, it's not better to sacrifice 500 p.def that the Immo heavy BP adds to get the 5 piece set bonus for vorpal.

4 Piece Vorpal gives +15% casting speed, +9% m.atk, +7 sun speed, and +mp regen.

5 Piece Vorpal gives an extra +2 wit, -1 int, -1 men and 50% stun resist as well as the vorpal 4 piece bonus.
I understand, woho :p

Slightly off-topic
I got myself a immo heavy BP +4 instead of vesper light and is gonna try it for a while on my summoner as atk spd is no good and +1 str, meh, and u get to wear a cloak
It's not only the pdef that matters...
I am for +25% mdef with old robe mastery which means I can use Epics and still have more than decent mdef.
Also old robe mastery means more mp recovery too. At +3 is +4.0 mp per tick.
Tunic is +700 more MP.

at +30 enchanted mp recovery and 1 use of RB per 10 minutes that would mean maximum 3.400 more MP every 10 minutes. In sieges thats very Important ;)

Have you actually awakened/tried pre-awakened skill enchanting after awakening?

At lvl 99 you have a 50% to go from +9-+10 and a 4% chance to go from +19-20 on a pre-awakened skill, the charts stop at that. They are VERY expensive and VERY low chance. You'd need +30 for 25%, +10 is like 9%, +15 13%.

Also the MP regen point is pretty lol..... for a start +1 is +27% regen, +3 is +29% up to a max of +50%. It only seems to apply when sitting.

However I do still have old robe mastery and have vorpal robes pvp for mage fights in oly. +5 m.def there is very little m.def diff between robes and heavy.
I guess I will stop at +20 :(
Farming Forts is sth I like in this game:p

Fast Mana Recovery is the skill I am talking about and it doesn't seem to be % added.
It seems to be +4.2 mp per tick at +3. (I am going to check it on next new toon 1-40 for certification)

5 mdef?
In order to have the bonus from enchanted old Robe Mastery you need to wear Robe Tunic and that is not 5 mdef. It is % depending on how much the skill is enchanted.

So you're able to farm 15+bil and lvl 99 for +20 robe mastery?

Sorry it wasn't clear, I meant I have +5 robe mastery (5% m.def) and it's not much more m.def than in my heavy. +4-5 costs 1.4m already, 7m for blessed, it gets to 100s of mil per enchant chance at higher++. I had it +24 before awakening.

Fast mana recovery is a general passive too btw, everyone has it robes or not and at +1 it is 4mp a tick. How do mentee certs help with skills?
If you had sacrificed old Robe Mastery, then you would have sacrificed Fast Mana Recovery as well.
It not the certification but the toon...lvl 1 skill....etc..

and about Farming...well eventually yeah I will farm/make trades to get as high as possible mdef...1% extra is always worth at every enchant (till 20 I guess).
Wouldnt having TW heavy and +wiz harmony be better than robe with knights harmony?

It is, that's why I'm using it. ;)

Although ideally everyone needs knights + rythm of start+magic. :(
50% Stun Resist is 50% of your base stun resist.

How well the set bonus works depends on Race and whether or not the toon is a Mystic or Fighter (Different Base CON levels), in addition to buffs, Tats, and other gear (like epic jewelry that stacks with it).

500 P.Def is nice but it's virtually useless if you get stunned and someone in your party dies.

WIT seems to be more worth it for healers than mages since they have heals with far lower cooldown than mage nukes, like Panic Heal. The difference is not huge, but it matters when someone gets focus fired.

But you probably don't PvP much (at the moment, since you're clanless) so I guess that doesn't matter.

Not a big fan of the higher S80 Sets, though...

Umm... Not gonna comment on the Skill OE stuff, Lol. But good luck to that person on getting that skill to +20 :P

We all know how the 50% stun works, the thing is there's simply not as much stun in the game now as there used to be, or if there is I've hardly been hit by it. Then again Zaken+Innandril jewels, +22 passive resist, sub physical resist and healer shock resist buff does help. Remember also that many healers are going straight for twilight, which is a completely junk +7 shock resist (if they go healer).

50% stun resist ain't worth anything when you get 2 shot by DDs and your party dies.

I take it you've tested all this stuff your self then? +1 or +2 wit is junk nowadays. Panic heal still takes less time to cast than to re-use even when wearing duals + heavy let alone a crappy 2 wit. There is a borderline for how much cast you can sacrifice for defense but for most skills it's irrelevant above a certain amount. The main fact is you can cast as fast as you want but a dead healer casts no heals.

I still need to sit down and make proper timed tests instead of just visual ones for the one slower skill though. You can assume all you want, but testing ingame is key.

As for pvp yes I do pvp even untagged, I gear myself and plan for pvp and usually I do alot better than other ebay healers with their twilight armor.
Yes, I've tested different sets with different WIT levels on Aeore in and out of PvP. I still wear the set with less WIT simply because I don't have nearly as much Attribute on the other set, though. That's something that trumps the WIT. You love to overuse the term "junk" it seems :P

I use the term junk as it's the complete opposite to the "awesome" tag people seem to put on twilight. There are good, if not better alternatives to what is in game as "top" armor.

If you've tested the stuff then you'll have noticed how +2 wit really doesn't do much at all now, apart from the thought of "OMGZ 70 more cast speed, I'll pwn now, I'm so fast!" :)
Don't you Tat WIT as well? It all Adds up... Stop viewing things in isolation.

Yes I do use Wit tats, +6 atm, aiming for +10 when I can afford it.

the extra +2 wit on vorpal only adds ~60 cast speed fully buffed with acu gear btw.
I just told you I knew that :P
