Hello everyone, I'm very new to lineage and started not to long ago, uh I'm a level 25 elven Knight and I just thought I'd introduce my self seeing as I'll be using the forums a lot from now on as I like to discuss things about the game and so on, I am enjoying Lineage so much and it has not dissapointed me one bit I just love it! I see that the community can be quite soft on new players unlike other MMO'S where it's all out for yourself, lol I hope to see some of you in-game and Happy hunting!

Ps: Apologies if this was posted in the wrong directory.

Hi... Excellent post...
Enjoy the game ;)
Hey Stardust,
welcome to L2, as you say we tend to be quite easy on new players, if they are sensible to begin with.

what server are you on? We have a lot of UK players in our clan/alliance (myself included), so if you are on Chronos, you'd be welcome to join our clan.

-Elvoana,
TheBlackDawn clan.
Hi.
Wow, that sounds great Elv, I would've loved to join your clan, but unfortunately I am in the shilen server, purely because of my time zone I thought it would be best to join the server which matches my time zone GMT+ 00 man, I'm kicking myself... lol But it is nice to be appreciated so early! God I love this game and the community!
Welcome to L2! Its too bad you weren't on Chronos. I can vouch for TheBlackDawn since I've been a part of it for quite a while. Elv is a very good clan leader! Even accepted me back after a very long vacation from Lineage lol. If you're only 25 you can always reroll onto Chronos!

Ah yeah most definitely, I'll keep you posted!
The only downside about Chronos is that it is very populated and sometimes you might have trouble logging in. Its gotten a bit better now that they are banning some bot accounts.
What exactly is a bot account? I know what a bot is but it might mean a slightly different thing in L2 Could someone explain?

A Bot is anyone who uses 3rd Party Software to automate he game in ways that regular players cannot. It's an issue that plagues all L2 servers, so it's not something that can really be avoided atm.

On the bright side, (according to NCwest) they are putting in a lot more efforts these days to catch and ban Bots.

But you don't really need to worry about this kind of stuff yet. Just enjoy the game, it's the most fun when you're a newbie ^^

Welcome to Lineage 2. I suggest you join one of the newer servers such as Bartz, Shilen or Magmeld. Chronos and Naia are the older servers and can sometimes reach capacity, not allowing players to log in.
Welcome to L2 Stardust ^.^

If you need help with something, whisper me in game. (Since you're on Shilen server.) Or pm me on the forums.

If I'm not busy in game of course I'll come help you.(Provided it's something I can help with.)

Helpful tip:
Try to avoid drama, and large clans at the moment.
Just focus on having fun and leveling.

That is probably the best advice to date.

Remember that you are here for fun. Once it stops being fun, it's over.

Dont forget that the fastest way to level from 0 - 41 is by doing all of the quests.
Once you complete one quest, the same NPC will** offer you another quest.

This should propel you through to level 40+ in just hours (I have got it down to about 2/3 hours with decent buffs)

** Occasionally you will end a quest an nothing is available from the NPC.
Make note of who the npc is, and where you are. Go kill some mobs until you level up then find him again.
(This is because sometimes the quests items drop so quickly, you havent gained enough XP to get the level for the next quest). Unfortunately many new players aren't aware of this and wander about aimlessly :)

And don't forget ... have fun!

First off, Hi and welcome to Lineage2, 2nd off...what TheMole here is saying is true...sometimes ya fall short of the lvl requirement for the next quest...what i do when this happens is open the map up and look at the 2 connecting grid points for the NPC ( very helpful if you die and need to go back there or if ya need to go back to town for buffs)...i also suggest ya play around with things EX: map, skills, system icons and the like, otherwise ya will be doing alot of guessing and question asking instead of lvling, which in the end you will need to be doing alot of...right now lvl up , have fun...and kill more mobs than ya think ya have to ( watch the lvl requirements for each quest and make ya sure ya well into the lvl before progressing ( say like 10% more than ya need), it will save on aggrevation of having to remember where the heck ya gotta be at if ya fall short for next quest.....make sure ya do all of the daily quests ya can, maybe do some "kamalokas" ( one per day ) and also do the "pailakas" as they give ya good chunks of xp but they are 1 time only quests ( there are 3 of them, 1 in Gludin, right of church entrance ( if ya looking at the church) another in Giran ( out Northgate on the right by a tree) and 3rd is in town of Goddard ( out left ramp if ya looking out of town ( there are 3 ramps out of town), talk to Orc ( right side of the left ramp out of town)...anymore questions, feel free to pop on in here and ask, as me and alot of others have many years experience to answer your questions...till then have fun, good luck and see ya back here in da future :p,:D,:),;)
Thanks for all the great advice guys! I got all the information, and yeah your right i'm level 36 already! I only really have one attack skill at 36. So I am looking forward to my next class, sword singer, also at what level can I wear dynasty armour?
Woohoo...see ya doing fine :D...good job...thx for the update. As far as the Dynasty armor is concerned...it is lvl 76...Grades are as follows:

No Grade 1-20
D Grade 21-40
C Grade 41-52
B Grade 53-61
A Grade 62-75
S Grade 76-84
R Grade 85-99

Keep up the good work and ill look in on ya every once in awhile and see your progress...anymore questions?...feel free to post...Peace ;)

Oh and just so ya know....the sword singer will become an Iss Enchater when "Awakened' ( lvl 85) by the "Natural progression", if ya dont know...the ISS Enchanter can Buff, Debuff, Fights and Sings...it is a "support toon" that can handle itself pretty well soloing...i absolutely LOVE my ISS...she rocks :)
