This brings back memories, I remember when the call went out on the forums for people to roll dorfs on that server in advance. I did, I made a dorfy, and we had a great time defending the gate to Giran. We had dozens and dozens of dorfs hitting the main attacking clan person by person, surrounding and inundating them, and we were slowly getting them.
HammerStrike! I remember how nice the people were. I believe there were alt clans in the Ally with similar names perhaps. I believe that was what I was joined to.
At first we were outside on the field past the moat in front, surrounding the unbelieving high level archers and such. Then we re-grouped inside and created a Dwarven Wall(TM) inside the first gate. This was so much fun, I couldn't believe how much fun it was. The word to create toons was made way in advance, I think I got up to 53.
Was such fun knowing what was coming soon in defense of Giran.
Then the actual day hit and I couldn't stop laughing, and it will probably be one of my most cherished memories, so glad I have that dwarf and the prophet companion when we merged to Chronos, though they are still in their 50's they bring back such fond memories.
