We were doing istina and had the boss at 10%. Looking to see what NCsoft has to say...friends saying server crashes at this time most mondays. Confirm?
You clowns have your server restarting every week this time...or what? It would be nice to inform us of such issues on your end. Another NC fail i guess, what can we expect right?

Technology is a fickle beasty. Yes, it did crash about this time last week. Really though telling someone to quit their job because you could not finish a raid? Stand back for a second and read and think about what you wrote. Tell me it was not worded immaturely.

Its very possible it was a crash... but it is also possible that for some reason they are doing maintenance to prepare for the patch update on the 7th.. like adding the stuff but keeping it locked and hidden on server till the official patch just to test it under operating server... This server does seem to be their test guinea pig.. If it is towards the patch it would have been nice to notify everyone in advance... Cause it surely does suck to be mid raid and have server crash... have had that happen a long time ago mid Antharas... back when it took 100s to kill him...
My previous comment was implying you said all the typical things except that you're gonna unsub.. so I figured I'd fill that part in for you.
I do understand the lost time and progress that happens when these things happen, but no need to make such a rude *** of yourself.
Try looking at this in a positive manner.. the bots will be off for a while, the stores and towns will be clear and I honestly look forward to the lighter load the server will have, even if it will be short lived.

I don't understand why people are complaining. You really have no right to. It's free to play, therefor it is what it is. Sure it sucks and yada yada, get over it. Your addition to this already very hateful and angry forum isn't a positive on.

If it really were free to play then it wouldn't exist. Pull your head out of your ***. You might not be paying for it, but many others are.

I COMPLETLY understand technology sucks sometimes. Of course, but nc soft has trolled us, failed us, and failed at THEIR job multiple times.
How hard is an announcement? Because of course, we wouldn't be mid raid had they informed us of it crashing.
ALL You have to do is inform your playerbase of such issues when they arise, being ncsoft and having 100s of issues, maybe they realize they cant even keep us updated...because they dont know themselves, haha.

1) This isn't a main't, it's a server crash. They always have posted notice of scheduled down times.
2) Crashes happen, and I don't make posts over it unless it's totally out of hand, but I can also understand the OP being annoyed a bit if there is a pattern to it.
3) People buy limited time runes which cost quite a bit and tick down even when the server is down. So time is money in that sense.

Well, where to start.
They will not ban you, you are not breaking the rules.
The server crashing once a week to me is not a big deal considering I just came from EVE. Fact is these servers are surprisingly stable for the amount of traffic they receive.
Finally failing at their job would imply that they do not not make money, clearly they are making money and the vast majority of the population is fairly happy.
Weather is not and never will be an exact science, if you blame the weather man for a bad day at the beach then there is something wrong with you.
Is it a server crash... very possibly... a computer/server can crash at any time... but to me I don't think it was just a server crash... Cause from what i have noticed this does happen a lot right before we do an update or server maintenance.. and it almost always is Chronos.. Now yes it does seem logical to me to test an update on the busiest server in advance.. because that server will give u the best test results... and as for saying that its free to play... i have been playing this game since Korean Beta... I have paid for on average 3 accounts a month (main account, buffer, and a crafting account) And for the smart ***es out there no i did not bot... but if you do the math 7 years x 12 months x 3 accounts per month at $15 = $3780 I have paid into this game (actually is a higher amount) do i expect decent service now even thou its free to play... Yes... And all it takes to give decent service in a situation as it is right now.. Its give an announcement.. at least keep your "customers" informed..

im simply saying post something on the forums... sorry we have had an unexpected crash on the chronos server... we are currently working to resolve the issue blah blah blah... or we are currently working on the patch update and testing it on chronos and the server will be coming back up shortly... thats called customer relations... and ncsoft FAILS overall at given good customer relations... always has...

Actually it going light is them testing to see if they fixed what ever caused the server to crash or them fixing a patch... They did officially say that during the server issues the other month when they tried to fix the extremely bad lag and shots not working...
We're currently investigating the issue and working now to get the server back up.

This is not a warning... this is not a drill, this is the real crash... we expect crash in T minus 4.... 3.... 2... I mean come on bro lol. You expect them to inform us on any crashes? Me personally... I think GOOD! Least the bots aren't on and have to wait till they wakeup/whatever they do to log back in. Patience is a virtue homies... I know it's frustrating and can be. I was in the middle of cybering some chick till... but you don't see me complaining :D And i was right at climax too

This is not the first time its happened, i was told its happened the last 2 or 3 weeks. Thus, it shouldn't be unexpected. The least they could do is say "We haven't resolved the issue we were having, the servers probably going to crash tonight at 12pm." Or somthing...
