we were allied with Limitless and Whitefall when i left. i left due to IRL issues for about 2 months, came back and all 3 clans are no where to be seen or heard of. can anyone explain wtf happened, without flame or trash talk on either side? I like to think i was one of the more level headed and neutral players of the alliance, so i dont wanna hear "lolwutn00bs". just looking for some straight answers...
AFAIK neither clan especially Limitless was brought to Magmeld as an actual preexisting clan.
Which means no clan core, leadership, chemistry, etc.
These types of clans will generally die naturally and were accelerated to end life when server transfers started happening. Most players either quit, were banned or have integrated into new clans.

i know a small group of Legion members did come from other servers, such as Tyberius, Omen, Rinth, Sinna and myself all played together for years on chronos. not sure about limitless on that note, but also both clans did have a "core" group. Legion we had our chronos crew, plus Koolaid and Arkime, Carnage, Ioan, for example. and limitless did have the solid core of Q, Mith, Mercondor, Yukki, supdrops, ect.
so you do have valid points, i just wasnt sure if there was a larger issue that caused everyone to defect in my absence.

legion died early on, before transfers took place. limitless's new leader travis, g3tr0ll3d, sold everything for real life money thus the reason limitless disbanded. limitless was in charge of aden town at that point.
whitefall for one was not a preexisting clan. my reason of creating it was to have a mature group of players play together in mere pve-purpose. yet it became a dedicated pvp clan over-time requiering massive ammount of time and energy.
as cj2000 mentioned, one needs to have a stable clan core. one cp is enough to form this clan core. however, the past few weeks my cp got 'back to real life' and we sort of realised we're not fit for this game on the standards it requires to be a top player/clan/constant party. thus the reason we disbanded. we quit about a week ago.
as far as the question goes "why won't you play a game where you can't be a top player" I will answer the next: normaly it wouldn't matter, however, in lineage 2 basicaly every level after 85 matters and there are certain points where one is nothing but a one click target.
a level 95 constant party can wipe 10 parties of players which are 85-90 easily. getting level 95 however is not something you can do in a month or two months. many of the current players who are 95+ botted their way up. I'm very strict when it comes down to this and so were all my members thus the max in our clan was 89, which was the result of me nolifing basicaly for 4 months. If I had spend my time better the max I would've been would be 90 or 91, not more.
however, on 89 if I recall right with vitality and with 50% exp rune I was getting about 1.5% a hour with a 'very good' party. with a 'godlike' party this might be 2% or 2.5% max. meaning in my situation and those in my constant party and each and every other member within whitefall in a constant party has to spend about 100/1.5% = 66 hours of pure farming in getting from 89 to 90, with rune, with vitality.
we nowadays sleep at 24:00, wake up at 06:00 to work from 08:00 to 17:00 and get back home at 18:30 so we can 'spend our free time as we wish' from 18:30 to 24:00. which leaves us 5.5 hours to go to the gym, shopping, eat, spend time with friends "and/or" play lineage 2. even if we were to play 4 hours a day it would ask us a month to get mere one level. who wants to 'play a game' to get a few % on there character everyday? grinding in lineage 2 is very boring unlike many other games.
thinking this out got us on the conclusion we're just not the right people for this game anymore and it's mainly because of transfers it got to this point. if there were no transfers the competition would've been equal, maybe a 2-3 levels difference but that would've been about it. ofcourse we would have the typical botters who would be 95 anyway but this would maybe be 10 or 20 people instead of the 100 or 200 players we have right now. meaning the whole server would just report these 10-20 people in hope they would get banned.
right now the competition is up to 10 levels where each and every level is a huge boost, where some levels even make it impossible for your whole clan to kill only one party of the oppositing clan.
I think last aden siege proved this where over 200 players were no match against only 50 transfers and lost their castle this way.
whitefall always had the player base that was playing for 'community' purpose over anything else. as a leader I have always cared about relationships most. whether this be with individuals, members or fellow clan-leaders. people cried on teamspeak because of laughter every single time we did epics. we had a "piano guy" in the clan which was holding piano nights every now and then. people who came home from a night out and the first thing they did was to come on teamspeak to drunk-talk to us and make our night joyful as well. I think this was the only reason whitefall became a "clan" even tho it was existant of randoms including a random inexperienced leader.
the game more and more became a "use eachother to get to the top" fest. I dislike this kind of behaviour, whitefall in general dislikes this. hence the reason we were without ally most of the time. next to this, the game became less play-able for us as time passed by, not because of lack in time only but because of content/current server situation as well.
I believe the only reason we kept playing was because we cared about our members, friends and allies and did not want to disappoint eachother.
however we had this talk and realised many of us are on the same line and we are not enjoying this game anymore. so we made a facebook page/group and are now talking there daily. we will play on a private all together soon. in meanwhile people are now playing wow/rift/aion etc.
I'm really gladful for the times we had and would like to thank everyone for creating those moments.
well Softy, first and foremost its nice to hear from you. I understand the situation and reasons why you left. I cant do anything else except wish you luck in your endeavors and have fun while doing it. I however enjoy the grind, as long as there are good people to grind with and pass the time. But i do agree, once the game becomes a chore, it is effectively no longer a "game".
Softy and ppl like softy thought that here is like on high rates server and we can be pr0 pvp-ers in like 2-3m but life is brutal and they realize that they are nothing cuz they need to farm much more then on high rates. So ppl like that will jump from server to server to "own" but when they fail they just going to another one

being a pro pvper has all and all to do with how good your cp/organization/communication is, it's been a while lineage was about individuals that showed their skills.
I've spend my majority of my time whilst playing lineage 2 on low rates, I'm the kind that likes to work for what he achieves hence our anti-botting policy within the clan. My first character took me a year to get 76, but I enjoyed every day of it.
the reason we quit here is because we don't enjoy playing anymore.
I see you've got slight interest in poetry hence "life is brutal" yet you shouldn't be twisting my words into something else.
we haven't failed in anyway, we simply lost interest hence dedication and are not capable of infesting the time this game requires any longer.

After this majority of the high lvls (86 at the time) quit the game completely.
About a week after this transfers were announced. And this was about the point where no one was playing anymore, me and a couple others.
Limitless declared war on us and voted getrolled the leader over supdrops, 2 weeks later getrolled sells off clan.
Both clans are now barren genocide runs the server for about 2-3 weeks then DV comes over with mass lvls/numbers and proceeds to think they are vastly superior at all things.
Oh and majority of high lvls have been banned for botting lolol

No I'm here too, but with a new name... I started the first day the server came out and partied with beast until he had to go away for a while. I hope he wasn't kidnapped or something :) Who got banned from Legion (if you are allowed to say).

we protected east limitless protected west, we did well protecting east as noone could pass. sure there were times half our members were gathering in town and we depended on limitless protecting east, but this was both-ways. nontheless, the result was that our alliance owned aden where as we didn't even have a 3th clan in our alliance
butthurt about the fact half the server was in hidden ally? unlike the likes like you we befriend people based on their attitude and mentality. we don't just throw random wars because a clan is brazilian or whatsoever. this pays off in many ways. the fact united helped us on dion was yet another friendly move of a fellow leader. and we are greatful to demon and cyberman and their members for that.
don't forget our enemies in dion were old allies and or members, they admitted they cheat during our friendly times. no reason for them not to cheat during war. many of these players botted their way up right after being kicked out of whitefall or alliance because they were scared of us and knew that if they did not bot up they would be destroyed by us :)

show me footage of any non-transfer clans win pvp/mass pvp which softy and his party attended and I will give you right. the fact unfortunately for you is there never has been such event.

Good to know that you guys missed me so much that you even try immitate my accent on vent >< (god i wish i can hear myself on vent, from their point of view) FYI, just to prove that its really me Boromid speaking, I learn my accent from watching too many SG1 series, and was said my voice sound like the guy from Diablo 2. both Madrek and sinna will know what i mean by that.
Back to what Madrek was saying when he open this post. the last weeks of Legion, we lost rune castle to the newly formed allience, majority of our long time clan menber left for the other allience and clan. Tyberius was trying to pick up the broken pieces, but in the end he never really loged back in.
I sticked around for some time after the clan became very inactive, mostly doing teredor (done almost 30+ in 1 month). But when i did the Tera online CBT 1. I just fell in love with that game, and never came back after that.
Sianna and Madrek, I will be playing the Europe version of Tera online, so its unlikely i will see you guys, since you guys will be on the USA server. I just want to say, my time with you guys on L2 was Truly fun, there was never a dull moment untill the dieing days.

I find it a pity that most of Legion quitted, I always thought it was a clan with promise and thought of joining it in the past, but couldn't just leave my responsibilities as officer in Swarm behind.

L2 was fun until transfers really. Even tho all the drama, complots and whatnot I'm glad for the days we had, both with enemies and allies. The whole flaming and bragging was just to keep the spirit alive.
I'm greatful to pretty much all the clans who were a part of this, including Swarm which I "hated most" since they had a huge impact on my leading skills. Not that I did envy them in anyway, this to be clear. Finalorder and Legendary for being truely friends even if no alliance was ever formed. FellowshipOfBG, Emperors and Wolves for being our last friendly allies. Legion for welcomming us to their ally when we were really weak. Limitless for taking us to tops we would've never tasted alone.
And many other clans I didn't mention. This will be pretty much be one of my last posts here. I'm thinking of giving Whitefall away together with Softy and his equipment, +9 apoc bow full twilight and more. Whitefall has goddard clan hall, all skills level 1 some 2 and all 4 knights / 2rg open. I just don't know who to give this clan, items and character away to.

Whitefall has goddard clan hall, all skills level 1 some 2 and all 4 knights / 2rg open. I just don't know who to give this clan, items and character away to.
Give it to me and I'll make my group of awakened PKs even stronger. Muahaha.
