Hello, i want to know how many WIT from tatoos or other items I need to get to max casting speed as a Dark Elf (fully buffed). I appreciate any answer on this thanks in advance for that.
Good Luck on that Journey, unless fully buffed includes Wizard Spirit.

Its hard, and its a big waste of dyes use all on +WIT.
Casting speed DO NOT affect skill reuse anymore, so, imo, INT > WIT in every aspect, since INT makes the skill reuse resets 2 and sometimes 3 times.

Im not sure that is true. According to the GoD patch notes INT only affects two stats, m.crit rate and m.crit damage.
Int makes skills reuse instantly thru the passive

Superior Weapon Mastery
P. Atk. + 83, M. Atk. + 104, and Casting Spd. + 23%. Additionally, there is a chance the re-use time of skills will reset or the duration double depending on your INT

For me INT is superior, but having enough casting speed might be nice in certain moments.

Do you think its worth splitting between WIT and INT as a Dark Elf. For example at +10 WIT a DE Feoh is near or over the casting speed cap (1999) depending on buffs and gear. Would it be better to get +10 WIT to max out casting speed and then +8 INT (+5 dye & +3 hair accessory) to improve m.atk, m.crit power, and skill reuse? Or do you think its better to go +15 in one stat to get the maximum benefits it gives.

My dilemma is that I don't know if the small boost in m.acc, m.evasion, m.crit rate, etc is worth giving up a potential +8 in INT. Oppositely, I don't know if max casting speed is worth giving up potentially +18 INT. I guess it would depend on the proc rate of skill reset.

The costs of the dyes make it impossible to test this stuff in advance :/
I'd think that perhaps +13 Int and +5 Wit might be good or +10 int and +8 wit. I don't play a DE but I do notice that while casting speed is important wit does not play as large a role as it once did since there are so many things to boost casting speed. Also since we have around 80 of the stat now it isn't the same as before when we had around 40.

I think when I was testing this on my healer each +1 wit seems to add about 15-20 casting speed buffed On my healer as a light elf I have +5 wit dye and +2 from twilight and I hover in the 1700-1900 range fully buffed with sonatas, depending on harmony.
Im considering 2 INT dyes and 1 WIT dye, with an INT accesory(im kamael),of course all that is kinda expensive lol.
or +10 int and +8 wit.

That might be the sweet spot for DE Feohs.
just imo, nuker is dd, it should enhance INT to hit harder.

wit is for healers who must cast fast, and who need extra cast speed when using light or hvy armors. since nuker is always in robes, they don't have to worry about cast speed as much.
M crit rate is important. Even more so than matk.

A single M crit can easily kill all but the heartiest. But it will leave them on the brink of death as well. Thats why a magic sword +4 might be better than a retributer +4

But I dont know how much more crit damage there is. Its kinda like leveling up in swamps pre-awakening, all the patk in the world will get beaten by 90% crits. Crits crits crits and more crits is the name of Lineage 2,

The sword gives a flat 1 m crit rate which is 0.1% flat, that's not very enticing...

Even for us, Healers, cast speed is not THAT important.

Ofc, the Ress % is affected by WIT, but even a Dark Elf with only base points in WIT at level 85 can ress 100%

Also, most all of our skills are instant/fast cast speed anyway, even without buffs. The ONLY skill that are important and use cast speed is Brilliant Heal, and this skill are more useful in PVP than PVE, because it heals the CP of the whole party if the HP is already full, but for PVE have better recover skills.

In level 95, the importance of WIT for us drops even more, with Frantic Healing.
well pve pretty much irrelevant, healer can wear and use anything they want pretty much, and yea balance and chain pretty much instant and don't need group heal in pve. but with group heal being so vital for pvp, wit and cast speed is important.

also it's true crits are good to have, so that is a pretty good argument for +wit on nuker. if someone has decent gear / decent healer, chances are nuker will not kill them w/o crit

Mh not really, I've tested it with an Elf Aeore friend. He was able to rez 100%, instead my rez made the target regain about 85% of his xp no matter what (like the skill description says).
