Every time I port to the fantsy island the first buffs they give is 1 hour with everything including sonata's. but then they give berzerkers harmony. which is for melee/archer classes.
I'm a Aeore healer, I need wizzards harmony, every time I ask for it..I almost never get it. I have to wait 5 minutes of shouting to recieve it. Even making a macro, and getting chat banned!!
When I do finally get it, and I go to the npc to leave fantasy island, and I finally find the npc past the 200 afk ppl standing around the NPC...my Darn wizzard buff is over buffed with berzerkers again, and I'm left standing there dumb founded at trying to shout for another 10m to get to get the Darn buff.
I useally get screwed every day this week with this crap!
And I'm seriously mad!
So now all the GM's are gone from the event area. I'm stuck with warrriors harmony instead of wizards with for me is 1000X better.

You should opt out of all events... this would show them they can't mess with you like this anymore. If that doesn't get them to act right you should uninstall this game... Yeah, that would really show them who is in charge!
The GMs don't even have to do this at all.
Take what you get FOR FREE and go about your business.
I myself have not even attempted to go to FI just because of the dogpile I am sure to see at the GMs or the GKs.

The harmony thing is silly but it sounds like you should be ****** off at the other players for camping on the NPC. That's not the GMs fault. They're only there to give free buffs. But don't worry, the event is over shortly so you'll never have to rage about this again.

OP: The event is free. You don't need to get the buffs. You aren't being forced to receive any buffs and your participation/existence is 100% YOUR CHOICE. Be glad you get the buffs that you get, and be glad the GM's are as active with the server now than they were before Chronos ever existed. You're like one of those kids that complained about how GM's were giving away free vitality randomly, and they had slow computers so they couldn't get there in time, so they came to the forums to cry about it. You don't need to be there, get over it.

The point is that: the NCsoft staff stands at the port out npc and basically spam buffs, and only spam the buff with bezerker harmory... which is great for many classes but it sucks royally for mine.
It doesn't make sence to have any staff member stand at the port NPC at all!
Think about this: if NCsoft didn't stand at port npc...do you think players would stand there afk...some would, but not 200+ to the point where u can't even target the npc...
Also no matter if u have a lvl 99 iss with +30 enchant you wont get sonata's for an hour....So don't post here to leacture me about how the event is free, and I'm taking it for granted. NCsoft is taking for granted players that pay them to keep their servers running.
Furthermore: kartia is over 30ms long, so 1hr sonata's/buffs would help to finish that off while maintaining my harmony and sonata's the entire time.

Don't post here complaining how you wasted 10+ minutes shouting for ONE BUFF when you already have an Iss to give you the buff you are missing. The shocking part? In the time it takes the GM buff to go away, you know how many times you'd have to give yourself the Harmony you want from your own Iss? Twice. TWICE. I'll say it once more...TWICE. Once every 30 minutes. Was it REALLY worth coming to the forums and complaining about a free service to the players because you wasted your time shouting for free buffs that apparently you think you deserve, when all you did was waste your own time waiting? This is why I charge for ISS Buffs and refuse to give free buffs anymore.
Simply put, most likely the gms buff on a macro. But at least they buff you I mean they could just not buff you. And besides what good is raging about it on the forums going to do?

I'm complaining, because it's not that hard if what thesongsofold is saying, they buff by a macro, they could of switched to wizzard from time to time. But they didn't they ONLY buffed Bezerkers.
And it wasn't that they where buffing by macro, there wasn't even a GM pressent that that spot...it was just buffing every few moments the same scheme.

The point is if you play a mage then you'd know how fustrating it is to have warriors inplace of the 8% m atk, cast speed, reduce mp cost, M df, and run speed makes for a mage class...and yeah it's a problem when kartia takes 35-40ms to complete, that extra 5-10m from the buff would help tremendously!!!

If it takes you 35-40 minutes to complete the solo Kartia on GM buffs + Wizard Harmony, the few minutes at the end when you have to go without won't make much of a difference anyway. Just let the NPCs kill the boss and make yourself a sandwich or something.

if u fail to get 8+ guards, and u only have 3, it's much longer, harder to kill the boss. And don't try to sell it likes it's easy that u can just stand in a corner and walk away from the PC...the boss summons adds that'll argo u and kill u if you aren't paying attention.
BTW: idk what country to nabs are that keep telling me not to complain about somethig. but A) I live in usa, freedom of speach. B) the forums are here for us to bring up, and discuse issues...in this case I have an issue with the GM's not being fair to all players and classes!

It's trully free and the service/staff activity is worse, than it used to be, but, hey, you pay no fee - you cannot demand(even if you pay for pixels from store, you pay only for it and not for any other service, like lag free servers, etc). Dislike it? Either accept the situation or quit and move to other games, like some of us have done or will do in the nearest future

Well, I can just pop in Rage Aura, Shield Focus and stand in a corner watching poranime while the NPCs kill the boss and its minions ... :D
That's the 85 one and I can make it in 29 minutes on GM buffs if I care to and are actively fighting. Thing is, there is no point to hurry unless you have a party waiting or something like that. You get the same XP and the same quest rewards no matter if you take 20 minutes or 60.
Ya know what...im pis.sed too...so pis.sed that i dont go for buffs anymore, and just buff myself with my Iss...lets look at this from a "Logical" point of view for a second....Say your 85/86/87 and you lvl in Garden of Genesis ( which by the way is on the other side of the map in BFE), ya here someone say GMs Buffs , GM Buffs...lets go et em...so off ya go to FI to get em. Now there is no direct port from GoG to FI...ya have to SoE out to the Arcan City, find the Teleporter...go to Rune, Aden, Giran or Hunters Village to port to FI...ya finally get to FI and ya get ure buffs ( yayyyy)...NOW...ya spend ure time LF the Vit door so have have Vit b4 ya head out ( chances are ya not gonna be lucky enuff to find the 1st door thats available so ya wander around LF another, then another) and by the time ya do find it ya just wasted 10-20 mins of the buffs ya got when ya 1st got there...so ure 1 hour buffs are now down to 40-50 mins ( ok great ya got ure buffs and ure Vit and now ya have to get back to lvling spot), if you were at GoG...its another 5-10 mins trip to the spot you were lvling getting thru all the towns and GK...this brings your buffs down to 35-45 mins ( and thats not even counting ppl stopping you and saying hi, wuzzup bro), now ya there at ure spot ( where is the rest of the party at...hmmm still teleporting, stopping for shots, going bio, getting drink, getting food, yakking on phone, or answering pms)....Hmmm now your buffs down to 25-30 mins before ya get everyone there and ya start to lvl again...it would seem intelligent enuff to stay where the heck ure at and lvl and use reg ISS ( whos buffs are 30 mins long and ya have your precious lil Wizards Harmony the entire time)...you actually LOST xp cuz ya had to go run to the other side of the friggin planet just to get 30 min buffs. Think logically about stuff man...and get over the fact ya got Berserker Harmony...just do What i do...STAY OUT AND LVL, ya be more poductive to ureself and crew...thats my point of view :)....

Or you could just look at the announcements/l2 facebook page and see exactly when they were gonna be on the server. And how do you lose buffs if you can just get the vitality, port back to FI, get fresh buffs, port to arcan? Youre the one not thinking logically.

How about next time they don't give any buffs.
Oh and for you specifically, you could just take the free buffs be happy, and replace what you want to. The GM's have more things going on then to sit and babysit what class everyone is, and what buffs they should get, when it's a "free" event.

They should have just put an NPC up and let people click which harmony they want to recieve. They always give Berzerker and you have to wait too long to get Wizard's Harmony.
Not sure I'd use the tone adn have the attitude of the OP but it is a bit comical that they're defaulting to that.
The first time it took like 8 minutes for NCViper to give me the correct harmony (and even then if you don't move fast you'll get re-auto-buffed with Berzerker). The second time I just deleted it and gave myself the right one from my Iss. It wasn't worth the trouble to try to get it from the GM.

Yes because fighting for the correct buffs in a pixel game which doesnt force you to pay for it any longer is a just cause to fight for!!!
Honestly, don't compare something the staff did out of kindness on a game to what people have done to be treated fairly in the real world..
Also, if you do wish to continue comparing yourself to what people did in real life to fight for equality and such. Take a look at "how" they did it. I can assure you they would have got far, had they started "cursing" and such.

The best way to get out after you get a buff is : Buy a SOE of some town/SOE clan hall and tele back. If you dont have or can't buy those craps, you can try "/target" the gatekeeper. Life is not simple, then make it simple, and enjoy the game only. Have fun.:)

What TheSongsOfOld was saying was that their buffs are on a macro, so they just hit a button, wait for the competent players to port out, then rebuff it a few seconds later for the newcomers.

This is where my comment comes in. No +20 Wizard's Harmony? Boohoo. I'll bet money when you exp, you walk around with your Iss anyway. I don't think so, cuz if I remember certain setups correctly, they have the buff macro set to a range, you'd have to segregate the GM's to different areas, people will move to the middle of nowhere because the F2P kids on this game are dumber than a box of rocks, then they complain they missed buffs, blah blah blah. You can't compare something virtual to something in real life. This is pixelated on a game where when you hit accept on the EULA, you are willing to accept ANYTHING that NCSoft gives you, whether it be good or bad. You are giving them control to do whatever they want to your playing experience.
This is what I'm trying to say, and if you don't understand it, your IQ will clearly be lacking. The GM's do NOT have to do this for the players. They show up to a mass of players and give buffs within a certain range, and to be honest, Bezerker's Harmony is alot more generic for all classes than Knight's or Wizard's in a massive group of people. They don't have the time to pinpoint all mages, all tanks, all warriors, all healers, all rogues, all enchanters, all archers and ask which one they want (because let's be serious, there are some exp parties where the rogue wants knight instead of warrior harmony, healer should get knight over wizard, enchanter should get wizard over warrior, etc). So they give a full buff to everyone in an area around them.
You are coming to the forums complaining you didn't get Wizard's Harmony, and you spent over 10 minutes shouting for 1 buff and wasting a free 60 minute buffset that you had to do NOTHING FOR NCSOFT in order to get them, when all you could have done was thank the GM's for the free 1 hour buff, give yourself Wizard's Harmony from your own Iss (which shockingly at +0 is 30 minutes, so OH DEAR LORD HAVE MERCY that you have to have your Iss give you the buff twice in an hour instead of once). Problem with Kartia solo? Kite boss, NPC's WILL kill him. I've killed the boss on my enchanter by literally doing nothing but running around my 4 starting NPC's (because Support Troops are too OP, yo). Sorry you have no attention span, it seems you have no patience or sense of gratitude at a free gift, either.

2. I asked them every time for getting wizzard harmony, when I say ask, I never said "wiz plz" but, "please, Matt, can you gimme wizzard harmony :) ?", I get it in less than 2 seconds each time (I was next to them, that's all).
3. You have a box and you complain of not getting 1h zerk ?
4. You have 2 toon and you don't know how to use alt + click for deleting a buff ?
5. GM didn't had a macro (with a macro you cannot have all buff at the same time) it's a command applyed to every people around. There is no command wich can detect by itself your class and the buff you "must" have (must, 'cause some archer want warrior, others want wizzard, etc.).
6. I think the GM were fantastic, every people around whining, not tping after getting buff/vita and all were getting on my nerves. I cannot imagine how your head can be after 5 hours by having all those complain and hardly have a "thank you". For that, I just want to say that they were really patient and kind, doing there best to make everybody happy.
Conclusion : Be kind with people for getting what you need, just ask, be polite and learn how to wait. GM are humans, they were 3 of them during the event (1 for Vita + 2 for buff), you cannot blame them to not see every one of the 15k "gimme X harmony" (and the 150kk "VIT PLZ") every time they came for this event. Will you be able to do it yourself ? I don't think, so stop complain and be happy of getting buff lv4 for one hour for free.
People really need to learn that they are not the center of the world, even if you are alone in front of your computer, there are many others all around and there is no reason that GM must give you better and faster answer than all the others.
I think the OP is thinking about this based on players doing what theyre supposed to do and leaving or geting out of the way once the have buffs/vit which is not the case at all, people still follow the gm after geting buffs and vit and for the most part the gm cant really do anything but try and read to give the correct buffs to everyone through the lines and lines of spam in shout and white chat and people asking for vit and buffs like minions. With the massive amounts of players running around like headless chickens spaming chat im surprised you get the buff you need at all.

Is even more surprising that after the gm takes the time to read through all that crap chat and actually single you out of the hundreds of players on top of him/her the times that they manage to do this, you have the audacity to come here and rage like a good american about your rights. You are a complete, total and utter ******* ******.
After bringing freedom of "speach" up for an online game this post lost all credibility in my eyes, regardless of there having been a semi valid point or a better way of buffing people in game.
Everything they did in this event was per the request of this community. The reason the had us going into a portal was due to the complaints in the past of everyone crowding the center of FI. The reason why the GMs game in game to handout buffs and help with the vit is we complained they are not visible in game. No matter what is accomplished to adhere to our request those that take issue with it will come on the forums and post negatively. The nature of the beast and no way around it.
I enjoyed this event and the much needed Vit boosts, the last day was a much better boost and lasted longer.
