Seriously, everyone is always doing something "important" when a server crashes. They aren't going to give you squat.

Stratch that - down again. Even NPCs were not up (not sure about mobs).

This is fun considering I work out of IT field - I understand all the stress the IT personnel are going through. (advice to those techs: chew some gum)

Whatever the gum machine would pop out after using a quarter on it. Company provided it for us. :-)

well I thought I was going to get to 86 off my xp rune but by the way it's looking it will be gone before it goes back up... only had 2 hours and 10% to go -.- xD

Well I suspect you can buy another one but make sure it is a 50% since 100% won't work 86+.

NPCs appear to be online. It may have taken a couple of minutes for them to wake up.

No that is not what I'm saying. I'm saying don't overreact. Mine is running down too so I understand, but not making a big deal out of a minor outage when it has been stable for months.
