So i was saving adena to get TW and im almost there, but now my question is: Is TW light better or should i get TW robe? I really want to be sure on this one cause screwing on TW its not the same as screwing on Inmortal equipment.:D

Personally I'd take Heavy since it gives your summoner a lot more p.def than light for no loss (+7% p.atk on light really makes very little difference). You don't lose enough cast speed to notice any difference (only robe set bonus +5% IIRC) and the 15% m.atk isnt a major deal either, if you need that you can use immo as a 2nd set. I don't think the light mp consumption bonus matters for summoner at all since I've never seen a summoner use that much MP for it to matter.
Just keep some 3*120 vesper pvp robes for healer/nuker in oly and times when you're not getting hit.
Superior Robe Mastery / Lv. 1
Increases INT by 2. When Robes are equipped, increases P. Def. by 135 and Casting Spd. by 5%.
Superior Light Armor Mastery / Lv. 1
INT + 2. When a Light Armor is equipped, increases P. Def. by 132.
So we have a lil more Cast speed with robe but less pdef.
About Heavy and Light comparison*:
Immortal Heavy set = 760 pdef
Immortal Light set = 637 (+ 132 from passive) = 769 pdef (+2 INT)
Immortal Robe set = 513 (+ 135 from passive) = 648 pdef (+2 INT and 5 % cast speed)
*(checked on l2archive.com)
So in pdef compariosn:
Light > Heavy > Robe.
IMO casting speed on Wynn is less important than having more pdef. So I think I will go for light and definitely not heavy. Sometimes it's very hard to farm and pvp in light, so think how much dmg we would take in robe. However I didn't make comparison about that 5% cast speed so dunno if this ammount is really big.
In the end we get to your case which is twilight:
Twilight Robe Set - Magic Type
4 Parts: M. Atk. + 184, Magic Critical + 3%, Resistance to attributes + 10, Casting Spd. additional + 12%, M. Atk. additional + 15%
Twilight Robe Set - Recovery Type
5 Parts: Heal Amount + 85, Resistance to attributes +10, Casting Spd. additional + 12%, M. Atk. additional + 15%
Twilight Light Set - Assassin Type
5 Parts: Critical Rate + 3.3%, Resistance to attributes + 10, Atk. Spd. + 3%, P. Atk. additional + 7%
Twilight Light Set - Enhance Type
5 Parts: Critical damage + 242, resistance to attributes + 10, Atk. Spd. + 3%, P. Atk. additional + 7%
And here my knowledge ends :)
Cast speed and matk would be much bigger with robe.
But with light you will have more crits on summons and bigger pdef.
PS. I am trying to get some good info about Wynns cause this class is really cool so I troll forums and check some stuff but I am not authority in this matter :P Maybe all Wynns here could make some good one topic with presentation of this class.

Please understand that adding the p.def gain from passives and armor stats does NOT represent what p.def you will have when wearing the armor, especially not with buffs. I'm not even sure if the passive bonus even stacks with buffs. The +2 int is applied regardless of armor.
I tested Immo light vs immo heavy and the p.def buffed from heavy was slightly more even without the +7% p.def from the set bonus. Since Twilight is significantly more p.def than immo the passive boost gets less and less important so Twi Heavy will > Light by a much larger margin.
Hmm as I said. I didn't make tests so I don't argue.
However let's add the last piece of puzzle to comparison:
Twilight Heavy Set - Attack Type
5 Parts:P. Atk. + 180, resistance to attributes + 10, P. Def. additional + 7%
Tilight Heavy Set - Defense Type
5 Parts: P. Def. + 87, Resistance to attributes + 10, P. Def. additional + 7%
It's rather deffensive set up and let's not forget we are DD's.
So I think Light is sth in the middle which gives good defence and some attacking abilities.

Do you remember numbers or could make this tests again and post results? We talk about 10-50 / 50 - 100 pdef difference or 100+ ?

Oh in immo it was small, about 100 p.def buffed without knights and I think it was without the +7% set bonus. But so was the p.atk boost from the light armor. I can't really test again since my Immo is +6 now. Since the difference between the p.def in twilight and immo is much larger you'll see a larger p.def boost in twi heavy compared to twi light than you would between the immo sets.
Offensively p.atk boost from light however is very small. 60% of 7% of ~1.6k p.atk is like +70 p.atk to the summons. Summons don't get and armor bonuses like + crit damage and the extra mcrit/critrate on armor bonuses is tiny, like 2 more crits in 1000 hits.
Apart from p.atk/p.def very little of the summoners stats get passed on to the summons. The tiny amount of extra nuke damage from m.atk boosts will not outweigh the extra defense from heavy. The cast speed bost won't make you much better since all skills have long re-use and cast fast enough in heavy anyway.

in my tests it heavily depends on yout PVE/PVP target, let me rant a bit cuz wynn isn't an easy class to play, well summoners never were but compared to old summoners wynn is harder. so lets see
PVE:
light--enhance/warrior harmony/apoc bow focus(+dmg if you are rich) + talismans passive basic stats for narnak/soa/swamp/GOG/fairies
why? cuz cougars are crit based pets and you hit quite hard with bow too (dark elf here) so with this setup you can easily reach 6k patk/480 crit rate/1200 att spd/2700pdef/6k mdef each cat which believe me their DPS is the strongest of all classes hands down + cats have a very high crit power that can reach sometimes up to 12x regular dmg so that 7% patk and att speed bonuses comes very handy cuz you wanna crit as much as possible to keep you dps in the very top and crit power take into account the base dmg you do to mobs so that 4% that goes into cats can give you up to 1000 additional dmg for free every critical.
additionally light give you the summoner mode pdef which is always good but with TW you get that cool +300 ish crit power which ofc don't affect summons BUT since you normally assist your pets target to use marks and you having now near 400 crit rate it makes a nice help to maximize your exp rate per hour, i mean that 2k(1600 without TW light) is 400 dmg less your summons have to do to kill the mobs == win
note: i know that for most classes crit power is not big deal but remember we can have up to 4 cougars that hit extremely fast so when 4 cats crits the same mob that 1000 extra dmg can become 4k more (happens insanely a lot btw) add that to a couple hours of farm you get a freaky ton of accumulated dmg == win
note in this setup i can do harnak 1st floor with just iss heals XD
robe / wizard/ grim reapers/requiem buster acumen//apoc just give 40 matk and is freaking expensive //(+mana up if you rich) + talismans for kartia (solo or party)
self explaining many mobs with low mdef very close == next target summon aoe + fist of giants / repeat aka fast exp
heavy haven't find a good reason to keep it, i loose matk/crit/att spd to gain some pdef which is 200 at most in TW hvy + talismans. i only think this setup would be to useful for tank mobs with bears while using knight harmony in harnak when tanks are rough to find
PVP:
in pvp we have 3 facts
cougars kills very fast > grim reapers
TP screw you cuz you need an insane cast spd to keep first summon alive and as many magic heal crits you can get.
99% or aore healers can't see or won't care about your pets HP so we are on our own with keeping pets alive
so go light / cougars if you have a good pvp tank to keep attackers away from you so you can focus in bring pain
go robe/grims/mage weap in 1 vs 1 or crappy tank or olys cuz is the only combination that you have chance of survival due to cast spd and crit heals but you have to be very creative cuz you will become the DD and summons pass to assist you cuz their non skill dmg is useless, a good combo is
spam the 4 marks / mark retrieval / mark of fire + fist of giants (spam it) and repeat for summoner
for summons grim drain + aoe attack repeat until fingers feel numb while you do the summoner part too and kite cuz in robe you don't want that tyrr warrior or othell near you
in case of crisis use UD or self celestial or disparion(delf exclusive) and spam cp/hp pots
in case of many vs 1 try exile/mass exile and focus on 1 target you won't win if zerged unless they suck at pvp("BRs")
always use mark retriever when 4 marks lands if less than 4 marks land then DOT dmg >>> mark retriever
in case of feoh wizard you need to keep mark of trick(cut their skill cast) and mark of void(a good chunk of the dmg is converted into HP/MP for you) all the time
keep your summons in bar so you can summon fast in case pet dies
if armor destructions lands on you, you are dead meat so don't count on cubic to remove it cuz is bugged and has never worked at all so use disparion asap (or QQ moar that you arent a DE) or exile the Tyrr and use disparion to avoid cast interruption
I have to say I liked light... the set bonus is nice, and you seem to survive just as long in light as heavy honestly. That 100-ish pdef just doesn't seem to matter. Cast speed and mana doesn't matter... and you DO go down FAST in robes. (I argue that +matk IS helpful in PvP as it raises your burst damage, which is what summoners are bad at!)
The mastery in light (and lack of heavy mastery) kinda make up the difference.
Yes, heavy gives higher pdef... but I gotta say it does NOT give more survivability in practice.
Note that the +4 and higher bonus on light is also better IMHO than the +4 and higher bonus on heavy. Light +4 gives -crit%, evasion (yay), and most importantly resistance to physical attributes! Heavy gives pdef and -crit damage. Not being stunned/CC'd is huge IMHO and -crit% is wonderful. (-crit damage isn't bad, I just prefer -crit%)
I should also mention that as you level (and especially in Tauti where they will change OE of skills) the ability to OE your light mastery will likely close the distance in pdef. Note that in heavy you will not improve with +'s.
Honestly, if you can afford to + immo light to +6, you probably have the best summoner set pre-95. (yeah +6 twilight would be better, but who has the money to blow 400mil+ leather BP that many times?)
Firstly the +2 int is gained just for taking the skill and NOT when wearing armor. It doesn't matter whether you wear robe, light, heavy or run round naked, you get the +2 int. So m.atk in both light and heavy is the same.
With immo light vs heavy I said earlier it's only a small difference but Twilight will be a much bigger difference. Light would of course be the better set for immortal.
I can't remember the exact stat for the crit evasion on light (will check tonight) but heavy defense set bonus also gives crit evasion (3.3%) on top of the crit dmg reduction from +4 (4.9%).
When I did test with full buffs the +7% p.atk armor bonus only translated to about +80 p.atk (+1.6%) on the summons as it was 60% of 7% of master's bow p.atk. The 3% atk speed and crit rate is laughable and only adds like 1 or 2 of each to the summons.
@Junior have you actually tried Twilight Light vs Twilight heavy? You say you have owned complete identified immortal sets with their set bonuses but then a second later say you use a Requiem staff for pvp because apo is too expensive and you're only 87.
My suggestion for heavy is not for max PvE dmg anyway, it's to protect the summoner in PvP while you use skills and your pets do their stuff. The less damage you take the more you survive and the easier it is to keep the main pet healed. Heavy defense set also gives stun resist, m.def and ++con which will help significantly in pvp whilst losing only a small amount of dps in PvE. Remember +250 p.def on 2500 p.def is 10% less dmg taken on all physical hits. The bonus from light is only about +2% DPS if that.
My summoners are only 85 and 86 and I can't re-test with immo since my heavy is all +6 now. I'll take everyone elses findings onboard and try and go over my tests again, using maj light if anything for the bow p.atk boost. Not quite sure how I can replicate Twilight light p.def, but my +6 immo heavy is almost the same as +3 Twilight.

i have:
1.) twilight light +3 set(when tested which set to use, currently i miss leggings and main part cuz i broke them trying +4 with the "lucky stones") and an apoc thrower +3 focus(weapon pouch R2 in GOG im lucky)
2.) immo robe +3 set and an requiem buster (like i said apoc buster is freking expensive 0 luck in soa daily/GOG)
3.) i dont have a TW heavy set myself(i have immo tho) but a rich friend tank has a blessed tw heavy set and i tested with his and i saw no big diff at all, with iss 86 buffs maybe with 89iss would go better
btw is irrelevant if im 87 cuz tw don't have level 90 restriction is just R. now i should had retried craft my main pieces before harmony now is impossibly expensive (another ncfail surprise lol)

Well it's understandable to question someone of low level (87) who says they've tested something with two twilight sets yet says an apo weapon is too expensive. If you've tested with a friends set it makes sense, you have a VERY rich friend to have a full Twi heavy set on a newish server. :)
One thing I will point out though is that the passive bonus is a fixed 132 regardless of buffs, gear or level. So higher level gear and higher p.def buffs will make a huge difference on how your p.def is in heavy vs light.
For example with +4 Immo light bp/gaiter I have more p.def than I do with +6 immo heavy gaiters> With buffs including warrior I have virtually the same p.def in +4 immo leather bp and +4 immo leather gaiters as I do with +4 immo leather bp and +6 immo heavy gaiters. With buffs + knights harmony I have less p.def in full light than I do with immo heavy gaiters.
What buffs were you using when you tested and what else do you have for p.def such as belt or shirt?

twilight shirt CP +3 and Twilight belt +3(waiting for another TW or 2 for clip since require lots of badges)
about friend i think he had some chars in chronos and transferred a freaking lot of adenas, TW is cheap if you have billions of adenas.
iss 86 buff and warrior harmony for light, wizard for robe and knight/warrior when heavy.
im not saying you are wrong tho but maybe is the server you play where it makes sense use heavy, here in magmeld we got transfered ppl lvl 90/96+ with TW/seraph OE and 120 element with uber deep blue apoc weapons +300 element, so the dmg they do is so beasty that in heavy or light you can't heal fast enough to keep TP summon alive more than a couple of hits, putting all that joined goodies of using heavy (lets round to 20% less dmg) or light make useless for pvp and since everywhere you flag there is at least 1 transfered ready to engage, they are hard to avoid.
now in a more balanced pvp (87 vs 87 for example near same gear) heavy or light can make sense since the dmg output is never that nasty to take you in 2 shoots.
beside i noticed that in full mage mode i have more chance of land mark of void on these high level ppl(from guts i think matk affect the land rate not sure ) which in pvp is a huge life saver and since my cast is near 1500 is fast enough to keep my pets alive until i run out of HP ofc(i miss my crappy self heal :** )
all that assuming that a feoh lvl 95 didn't land a crit of 45k and killed me in 1 shoot alongside my TP pet
for pve light is the best hands down since for a wynn is hard to die from mobs anyway so the heavy bonus don't make much sense, to me at least

Fair enough, your argument makes sense. Personally I'd use mage weapon + wiz harmony for pvp too so it makes sense that light would be on par with heavy as it is slightly more dps in pve too.
However personally I'd prefer even a 10% damage reduction in pvp over a small pve boost so as heavy has more p.def, ++con and -crit dmg/crit chance I'd take that. You might find that using knights on main and warrior on summons in PvE allows you to solo more areas as you'd gain more p.def than you'd lose p.atk.
Also heavy would > light in oly as you could use knights vs physical toons.

omg, im so frustrated, just crafted my tw light... guess ill have my tw robe now, no biggie.
Hmm, that's interesting... I started with robe set, was advised to use bow (as this being my first ever char in the game), but slowly realised I'd need more pdef for the sake of staying alive at lower awaken lvls, so bought the light set, put enhance on it and been wearing it since lvl86. Even with my apo retributer it works great, both pve and pvp. Wouldn't put my robe back, however I'm still storing it in wh :p I'm not even sure I'm gna go for twilight, rather max out atributes and try to oe it to 6 until seraph; but will see once I hit 90 how it works in those instances...
Obviously... Never using retri with cats, was just pointing out that the light armor goes well with it as well with reapers ;) I'm sure with robe it'd be more efficient, but again staying alive worth it more to go with light IMO - also, reapers having over 19k hp with a nice pdef boost from the light... well, in pvp I hardly see my cp going down by someone around my lvl :p
I wouldn't go for light for pvp that much. Truth is, i'm always the last one to die and i have a rly bad armor, coz player's don't aim for summoners, it's either healer or the nuker and i'm never agroe'd either since i'm far and the tank doesn't care about me. So i believe it's better to fully maximize your damage output.
... i believe it's better to fully maximize your damage output.
+1 Oh, definitely, but somehow I'm always getting attacked - I really don't know how do I do that from far, but still... Probably my robe will be the best for the sieges, but as far as we mostly doing 7vs7ish and 1vs1, I'm keeping the light on

You just get 23.76 of Critical Rate from Bow with Focus SA.
You're forgetting the Crit MOD on a Bow is 12 but on a 2H blunt it's 4.
You actually lose close to 100 crit on your pet going from Bow to Retributer/Caster. A bit less going to a Buster.
It's not just about the SA. The weapons function differently. Try logging in and seeing what your pet's Crit Rate is with a Bow on, and then with a Retributer.
Just wanted to let you know, that after PvP increases, light is definitely the one to go with... After the healer the wynn is the main target even if healer's alive, most of ppl are going for us as we can make a lot of damage. I can't even count how many times I felt lucky to have light instead of robe on; Pdef is a huge advantage for you and your pets, with a good healer in a pt you won't die even if everyone's aiming at you. In 1vs1 you can still kite easily if they decide to take you down (which ofc won't work with pets out), or can easily take down enemy with marks (which reuse is possibly near the same with light) and retriever + exile until they are trying to get rid of your summons. It's so much easier with light (especially if you also have something to reflect some dmg back)... Would never go for robe now :)
Ir have to agree with ferine on wearing heavy, i use immo heavy on my summoner, only a couple pieces +4 and i have around 1k more pdef than my friend with tw light. We both are the same lvl, same race, and he has more clan skills. Mine being an alt clan lvl 8, his lvl 11.
