Wait, so the Lion is worse then the Panther? And how did you get a level 79 Panther?

What do you mean? It might be level 1 skill but its for a lvl 85 so it should really be better then panther... but anywhose since it only uses 1 BSS, I can see it being much more useful anyhow.

in my point of view, the golden lion is a good companion when it comes to farming. but in pvp it isnt. it has no cancel skill unlike the panther. and the worst of all it has a def. penalty when summoned, too bad for a tanker. def. is highly affected.
im a former hellknight recently awakened. thats why i have a level 79 panther without plus enchant

i really don't know if the lion is bad on pvp...
maybe summoning give u a penalty of def.. but is only ur P.def, and the stuns of knight never lands, and the lion rush lands often...
the sigel knight don't have any ranged attack, any real debuf,slow,root, or someting similar...

so is so dificult catch a enemy who is running from u
the chain? oh yeah the chain!, with that u can drag ur enemy close to u, but that don't stop him...
(that's were my observations pvping without the lion...)
im just learnig how use this sh*t, but i hope in higer levels things goes better
(im lv 87, my lion fullbuf have little more than 4k of pattack)

I had the same question before awakening my DA.
And Lion is much better and its very simple the reason

Lion has higher HP, Pdef and Mdef (double then panther)..while panther will die in 1~3 hits from an awakened char.

The only reason to keep panther WOULD BE if the cancel lands...but it never lands on awakened chars (0 from 12 try).

Go for Lion, and just dont use it on mass pvps - but it still worth on 1vs1
