The Olympiad is now restricted to characters of level 85 or above who have completed their fourth class transfer by Awakening. Once each week, every eligible character will receive 10 Olympiad points, and the number of matches each character has done is reset. Each character can take part in up to 50 matches each week. Players are now matched against opponents of similar capabilities. Olympiad matches now take place from 6 p.m. to 12 midnight (server time) on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, instead of every day. but on 2 fights my oponent was a tyr warrior weapon top-R +16 and seraph armor... that means he was 95+. 8 levels above me(or more)...

You must be new to Lineage 2. I hope you enjoyed your stay, you won't be missed.
Olympiad isn't a fair game setting, but it is as fair as you're going to get when it comes to 1v1's, to some degree.
I personally love oly, to the point that if it's going I don't do anything but do Oly, and I'm not even that great at it.
This month so far I'm sitting at roughly 150 points, but I'll admit that I get a lot of tough opponents and for the most part I only really get people that are around my point total or lower.
I did get the heros a few times in a run that I should have stopped because not many were queueing anymore, but that's what you as an oly player need to look at.
If there are a ton of matches going, the likelihood of you getting someone in a similar point range is greatly increased, if there are only a handful going, the likelihood will greatly decrease because there is a much smaller amount of people doing it, so those people with high points will inevitably get someone with much lower points.
It's just a weird deal. Oh, and you get 10 points per week. So every weekend you have roughly 7-8 matches of oly if you lose every single one.
The point matching is only as effective as the number of people signing Oly. If there's only one or two waves, you'll rarely ever get someone with your same points. There are people like myself who have been camping and farming Oly every day since C4 when it was first introduced and will always be signing throughout the day and skewing the point matching. Can't really complain about losing to people with 4+ years of Oly experience...
Everyones keeps saying l2 is a pvp game, but if it is then make it so players dont get any xp while oly is happening so we can actually have some people to fight with..

Sorry, I can't hear you over the deafening roar of the success I've had in the last 5 years (which includes obtaining hero in 2010 multiple times) while maintaining a job for those same 5 years that included deploying to a foreign country to nom nom a dictator. I have a life and I know what to expect from this game (and NCSoft in general). Go back to your private server where at least you think you know everything.

1. if you'd actually read anything about the game, you wouldn't be surprised
2. "MAKE THE **** PVP free, 2v2 3v3" - it is an open pvp game, it's about frags and not some "stay in town and make oly/sieges/tw on weekend" - go out town and dare to flag or join a pvp clan- you'll get plenty of pvp. I wonder, what would your next post be about then? Something like "omg, i loose xp in pvp, carebear game, qq"?
