I am new to L2 As well, so I am decided to make an elf enchanter and i think i will be balance in doing pve and pvp(look for a clan that can party for lvling and doing some mass pvp).
So may i ask what dyes i will be using? +str or +con? Some ppl saying str is better but some ppl saying in con is better... For the armor heavy(attack) or heavy(defence) or light? For the weapon I would use dual sword but which SA? haste/dmg up or HP?
What will we do when partying? buff/debuff/rez/heal or doing some melee dmg? And what about in pvp?
I have been searching around the forum for days but everyone are talking in different way....
+str or +con?
+15 CON. Iss are support char, and the most HP you have, the most you resist, and the most will your healing Melody heals, since its % based.
For the armor heavy(attack) or heavy(defence)
If you use Immortal, go for attack, because there is not BIG difference, but the attack still a bit better.
For the weapon I would use dual sword but which SA? haste/dmg up or HP
I prefer dual Sword because of critical rate. Dual blunt on +4 gives you some extra dmg on skills but its not big.
Health always. The same as I said on +CON.

PvE? Buff and Deal damage -30% Pdef/def/matk/patk is always good on hard mobs. healing melody is not so effective in party...
PvP
You do all you said. You buff, you use disables(transform, petrify), you use Ress, and you also does damage.
Crippling and shadow blade (and Mass) are great at PvP cuz its -40% mdef/pdef.
So, you must support, the way it happens.

OMG plz keep your advice for yourself.
Healing Melody not effective?
+15 CON?
Useless advice imo... U have to learn a lot before posting again

.....
From what I know about math
(dont know anything about ISS)
but 10 out of 100 (10%) is a higher % then 10 out of 120 (just random numbers)
Sure you can last longer in fights, but you point about the % based heal becomes moot.
healing melody should be used as back up heals on party members only imo as the cast speed is slow.. much better to use warior hp pots for self heal which insta heals for 33% HP and are spamable
heavy armor attack w/ 3x120 resists is the way to go and best would be duals with 2 sa's imo
skill crits are influenced by STR so imo go for DPS unless survivability is really more important to u..
btw as elf ISS aka ex- SwM make sure u keep song of renewal & warding by not learning Wiz Harm.

Just out of curiosity, why keep these? I am going to dual class Iss and I would like to make my char as efficient as possible.
ur not a tank, so id go with dext.
it give u evasion and a very good chance to land ur debuffs (the ones based on actual active skills)
that are some magic skill debuffs on u too, those one id advise u to save up some adena and over enchant it, since it has a lucky chance on em.
if u go str or con, u sir, are no diferent from the rest. set urself apart! make a LE and enjoy ur pure avasiveness ;)
but thats just me saying..
I am a DE ISS, and wanted to ask about the opinions about equip as well. Right now I am using Immo heavy defensive type(most of it 3x60, +4 bp), requiem duals from diplomas +0 no atribute, jewels from diplomas +0
I want to ask on what should i focus next (apo duals, jewelry, dyes or maybe tw armor)? And also wanted to ask if anybody has an experience with other armor types than heavy, is it worth to go for something else?
hvy is THE armor set for ISS but I would go offensive instead of defense..
the armor/weapon/jewels question can be answered as follow:
- do you xp most of the times in party or solo ?
-> solo, get weapon as killspeed matters
-> groups, armor so in aoe xp you're not a liability for the healer(s)
- do you hunt mostly mage type of mobs aka get nuked more then physical hits
-> get better jewels

So I want to Dual Iss/Sigel. Can I get away with Heavy - Attack on the Knight?
That way I only need one set of armor and switch out the duals for blunt and shield. Not the most wealthy of characters ;)
