How do you make Adena in this game?

ok so I'm lvl 55 now and I only have 1mil adena... same amount I had when I was lvl 20. I only get adena from mobs and quests. I tried selling some items I got while hunting on action house but so far no one bought anything.

Having to buy buffs and pay cost for teleporting around doesn't help either.

What is the best way to make Adena at my level? or is it pointless now and I should just lvl up and ignore making adena?

Also, I have some stuff that I picked from mobs that I think might be worth something but I have no idea how much, cuz no one is selling same item on acution house.
Stop buying buffs and get a mentor.
Sell item pieces to grocery store.
Break stuff to gain crystals and sell them. (only B, S and R grade crystals are in high demand for now)
Sell stuff to grocery store.
Don't take direct (costly) teleports, jump from place to place, learn the shortcuts.

And Elro's advice is the best of all.

At lv 55 I wasn't even that poor...
I kinda gave up trying to get a mentor since no one seems to be interested? I shouted for hours: "LF Mentor" in gludio with no luck.
also I forgot to mention that I have to spend like 200k every time I buy healing pots and soul shots, it just seems impossible to make adena.
Why buying pots if mobs often drop them? Why buying shots when they cost more than craft and anyway you get them handed to you from Path to Awakening?
okay most of my alts were poor like 500k or less poor and within a few times of doing the daily quests I was up to 5-6 mil. You don't need to buy anything. All these levels are for making bank. No one buys mats or low grade full drops that's why you don't see them in AH. It's junk. Use the path to awakening as said and claim your shots, buff pots, gear and whatever else.

Try in Aden, u'll get mentor in no time.
Dude i had 1kk adena when i was 39 before GOD expansion, and i didnt get any adena given to me..cause quests were not that rewarding...wtf did you do to ur adena lol

He said he was buying buffs, and I guess depending on how many times a day you're doing that I guess he would be that poor. Get a mentor or use the NPC noob buffer. Stop paying for buffs you're only feeding them.

The game already makes one poor by having us rushing through all those lvls, i reached 85 rly poor lol and spending more adena to make it even faster every 30 minutes...yikes!
Who cares if you are down to even 1 adena when u hit 85/86?

Immortal/Requiem is free. The Event weapon is so close to free to SA its ridiculous.

You dont need hundreds of millions to go exp.

Get 86=free shots forever.

Every mob you kill with free shots that drops adena makes you richer.

Adena never has, and I hope never will, rain from the sky.

I'm still boggled as to why people are that poor. My sts alt had like nothing on it at lvl 77. I used free gear and shots. Mentored myself and did the daily quests and by the time I hit 80 I had about 16 mil. I bought nothing so it's pure profits. How anyone can't manage to make adena is just confusing.

It basically does rain from the sky now that everything is free at 86+ other than upgraded gear/weapons.

Shots were always the biggest money sink in the game. Removing them as a cost practically achieved that.

Most classes can get by just find in Immortal Gear until 95, though I'd personally upgrade the weapon (unless you have 300 Vesper and are a mage, Healers can use almost any Acument weapon i.e. Arcana Mace and still get by fine).

They're buying buffs from Iss Enchanters for 100k a buffround. That's how. Some of them have no mentor because they want 24/7 and people like me rather mentor and log in a level 41 alt on a spare account than deal with people like them.

1...Use the path to awakening for free gear, shots, buff pots.
2...level up alts to lvl 40, sell gear & mail the adena to your main toon
I dont get why you people are telling him dont buy iss buffs? at any decent spot you can get back the money with a few kills,if you are a new player and dont have your own iss yet(wich you should make asap) buying iss buff its a fine choice for 30 mins of good lvling.
I lvled without iss buffs.

okok mentor!

You don't get back the money. Where does this failed logic come from. If you pay 100k and get back 200k you're still down 100k because you'd have gotten the 200k anyways, since you can still kill the mobs without Harmony. The only buff you really can XP with is the Harmony since the Sonatas may be close to fading by the time you get to some XP spots. Mentor buffs give everything else (Resist buffs are unnecessary at those levels). Nevermind you often have to go to and from town to get them and you lose additional adena on ports (and in-spot ports like the crystals in ToI). Makes little sense, to me.

So basically you're paying 100k adena for a 30 minute Harmony, which simply isn't all that economical nevermind it can be highly disruptive since you may get back and your spot may be taken by someone with a high level toon behind them daring you to flag on them.

Players need to use their heads.

If you plan on making the Iss Enchanter anyways, you should just go ahead and level the Iss Enchanter first. Overlords are easy as hell to level, fast as hell, and don't need a Harmony to level, either. Once you level the Iss Enchanter to 86 fast, then you can mentor your own DD and buff yourself. Don't do it the other way, if you know you're gonna be leveling the Iss Enchanter, anyways. Once the DD gets to 77 then just party it with the Enchanter and go kill in Swamplands. It doesn't take long. It's easier that way, than the other way around. Only exception may be if your DD is a Summoner or Nuker.
But not everyone has a mentor,if you had to make a new char from 0 wouldnt you buy iss buffs every 30 mins? in Bartz buff usually go for 50k and as long as you get those 50k back you are gaining the profit of experience and losing nothing.

No you'd be trying to get someone to mentor you either random or join a clan and see if someone there can take you in. It's completely dumb to buy Iss buffs. until 76 you can use the NPC to get by if you can't seem to get a mentor because people want you to be 76+ so you don't leave them and are committed to the toon.

It's because NCsoft has the brilliant idea of putting a penalty on the mentor if the mentee decides to mentor hop.

Right that too. Been in that situation before
Some people dont like begging around for a mentor,i lvled my WC till 81 with Iss buffs and never had adena issues, made millions farming in ToI.

This is like the 50th time I see someone add a t at the end of Acumen. Where does this come from?

I do this every so often for diplomas and, god no, I wouldn't pay 1 adena for Iss buffs. I've never even asked anyone in clan to buff me. I've had people try to invite me with their Iss to give buffs on these newbie toons and I just ignore them. It's fast enough already. Besides, I'd rather kill for an hour than 30 minutes.

Good for Bartz. I have no idea how much they go for on Chronos because I have never charged nor have I ever paid for them.
L2 doesn't have a system of professions, only dwarfs can make money efficiently, so the fastest way to make money in L2 is giving a time to your main class and creating a dwarf to craft-spoil as well as a boxed-buffer if you can't get mentor.

It's Acumen+augment merged together!
Here are a few ways I make adena. I know you ask about making adena at every level and trust me there are plenty of ways but if you value your time then you wouldn't waste it trying to make adena until you are 88+

Raids, SOA, and kartia daily - this should be a given. I've never got an Apoc reward from but I know people who've had 5 and more. Still, with 3 requiem weapons and 3 enchant weapon Rs I still managed to walk away with 100m from doing this short quest every day. Group Kartia drops weapons too, Requiem for 85 and Apocalypse for 90. Ive had a few... though honestly Spezion and Istina are the most profitable because they are 1-2 party raids with awesome cooldown to item probability ratios.

Monetize your mentee coins by using them for EWD, EWC, EAR, or EWR. Over enchanting D-C items is easy and have a good turnaround rate for the committed. As for EAR/EWR you can make use of bound items by enchanting them to +3 (or more for the gambling types) for their crystal value. If sold to the NPC you make mad crystal R. Alternately you can use the crysals for Hero Boxes from the Aden reconstruction manager. It's roughly 1.2m per bound armor +3 and 18.9m for bound weapon +3. So if you have 3 event EWRs you can buy a requiem item for 7m and make 12m from it right now - though patience is a virtue.

Buy Element crystals for 1.5-2m and sell for 3-4m.

Cause inflation buy buying all of one item and selling it for set prices. Like say buying up all Immortal Shoes and selling them for 15m a pair, with 1 pair staying at 10m at all times. It takes seed money and a sharp eye but it's doable on any server.

Farm in gog with a constant party so that the loot distro is a little more fair by virtue of not being totally randomized. My party got 5 Twilight Gaiters (lower), 3 Twilight Tunics (lower), 3 Twilight stockings (lower), 1 Twilight Leather Breastplate (upper), 1 Twilight Leather Gaiters (upper), tons of Misc Twilight armor and jewlery pieces, and almost a billion adena worth in materials (remember to sell choice mats in sell shops and not NPC) thanks to having a spoiler in a week. Obviously Upper has rarer items than lower but the most important thing is to have a full party of the appropriate levels to maximize the drop rates. Summoners with Transformation Sealbooks or Scrolls can solo as can Daggers with Iss and Aeore Healers but a full CP party kills faster and if you're in good company you are all going to be making a lot of adena. The exp is terrible but the adena reward is a very good trade off. Just don't let a few hours of no/bad drops discourage you. This is korean RNG... you get the rewards if you put the time in.

Trivial misspelling is all. I don't tend to proof-read posts often especially when the meaning is obvious I barely feel it's worth the effort to edit stuff like that :P
I found out that grinding SV on a lowbie about level 73 to 76 for 2 and a half hours yields about 12m-13m in adena including sold drops. Best do it on a Dwarf, Zerker, or Gladdy to maximize gain (which was what I did). I was watching Lyrical Nanoha A's which was epic. :3
also I forgot to mention that I have to spend like 200k every time I buy healing pots and soul shots, it just seems impossible to make adena.

I see your posts... SOME of them are pertinent (except the 1 about armor... that's stupid as ****...) so if I can I'll help you.

Pm/mail me in game for mentor (if you really are active)/any kind of tips/buffs/whatever... I'm 2 lazy to write all now. Archangel is the nick.
Honestly, from 1-85 you don't need adena... everything is handed to you.
At 85, your R-grade is free.

You won't have any trouble getting a mentor 76+, and 80+ I doubt you will last 2 minutes asking for a mentor in Aden.

I made over 70 mil levelling my last newbie from 1-85... and this is without handing him a dime.

This is true. Lowbies yield a ton of adena drops minus item drops than awakened adena drops. (Seriously? 8k in SV but only 2k in swamps?)

There is a magic place called Aden, where dreams come true.
The ones shouting for mentors are the ones I pay no attention to.

The ones that just ask for help that I notice don't have mentor buffs... If they seem cool maybe I'll mentor them on one of my boxed toons...

Usually only mentor people I've known in game for a couple or few years, though... Or my own alts I'm leveling up.
u get a couple quests later on down the road that give u 4-5 mill adena rewards.
+ grinding in the higher areas later on (pre-awaken) such as TOI 11-12, Wall of Argos, Imperial Tomb, Sel Mahume, etc.. will give u a load of adena.

also as previously stated get a mentor and stop paying for ISS buffs.
by the time i was 85 my main had almost 100 mill, all i bought was SS.

I made 50m on my sub from just level 67 to 74. Where are you hunting? :P

I tend to do that too Smittie.. It's a case of fingers working faster than the brain, and how many words that you use frequently end in "men" compared to those that end in "ment"..
(I do usually correct my spelling though)

I am the same lvl as you, i have about 3.5 mil to date, i have done this by constantly completing quests, selling mats and drops, and also cashing in the tokens for free D and C amour given by the path to awakening site (free shots too)and selling it to the shop as I use the shadow gear, and getting a mentor at lvl 40 in giren, you don't have to pay for shots, armour, weps and jewels, and tp is free to lvl 40 so i made loads of Adena, i also lvl at places that drop herbs so i have barely used any of the heal potions i have bought.
qq
If you are a low level, go to places with non aggressive mobs such as Hot Springs or the area around Goddard and sweep the dropped loot not picked up. You don't have to worry about being mobbed and the adena drops are fairly large and there are lots of sellable equipment drops also.

both places got aggro mobs afaik :)
Yeah, Sel Mahum is better, there's a lot of people that don't even bother with picking up adena and no mob is aggro there.
Also get lucky:D
