Do dual daggers have twice the chance of leveling up max crit and applying scorp poison?

Since dual daggers hit at twice the speed of single daggers, are they better for max crit and scorp poison? Or do two dual dagger hits only count as one since two hits only use 1 ss?

Also can max crit level up on skill attacks? They are considered crits. The description says it has 50% chance of leveling up on a crit, but it doesn't feel that way to me

I use dual daggers on my othell dwarf, and maximum critical it seems to activate quite frequently, i even have gotten to lvl 3 in 2 consecutive crits (1 to lvl 2, 1 to lvl 3). Scorpion Poison should work the same way.

I've used both single and duals, but I've never noticed any major difference. But then again, I've never consciously looked for differences so I don't know if there are or there aren't. Would be nice if there are actual testing data

Maximum critical easy with both, scorpion poison more chance with duals

I have focus dual daggers, and with full buffs my p.crit is capped. I can go smack an npc for 3 seconds and have maximum critical proc to 3. Not sure how single dagger fairs
