Healers and Duals

Hello all, I tried to find something about this subject but I find none.

Lately, I notice that a lot of Aeore Healers are using duals (mostly dual swords) instead of a Buster or Retribuer, but I don't see the logic on this, since we are not damage dealers and our job in pvp is to support, not to deal damage effectively (At least is what I being told for all those years).

So, my question is: What good a dual weapon can bring to a healer? Do I need to think about getting a dual for myself too?
It's for Health SA. Since casting speed is not an issue, some healers choose to use dualswords with Health and survive better.
I thought about this.

But we actually have only 2 heals that are not affected by M.ATK, too little to throw away m.atk that would be good to conserve mana being more effective using Panic Heals, Radiant Heals or Brilliance Heals.

And, besides, we have a lot of survival tools to hold better in PVP, I don't find HP more important than MP, since you will use MORE mp with duals that you would use with a magic weapon because of the healing power of the m.atk (At least for me now, I can be wrong in the future)
If they use Duals, then they use the old S Grade Dual Swords.
Their SA is still one of the best around in this game.

Tallum Blade*Dark Legion's Edge:
Max HP +15%, Max MP +20%, Max CP +30% when enchanted by 4 or more.

Ohhh I see now! Thank you very much! I never had one of those in the past xD.

But, those statuses compensate the loss of healing power?
Fenrine said that it is ~300 HP that you loose during healing.
So don't think that it is too bad.

As healer you have many ways to go.
Hvy Set + Wiz Harmony + S Duals
Robe + Knight + S Duals
4x Vesper/Vorpal Robe + Immo/tw BP + w/e
You also can use 1h magic blunt + shield/sigil
Thanks.

I guess I will incorporate the Duals in my level 95 build with the Heavy Seraph. :D
Might be trying Heavy+Shield+Health blunt, how high is the shield block rate cap this days?
Why blunt? Swords come with health too.

Although the dynasty 1 hand blunt was awesome in how stupidly big it was lol.
Shield isn't all that good, especially considering it doesn't seem to block the new nukes and with wiz harmony you need to keep getting the EE combi buff to block at a decent rate. It also only works from the front. However I'd take it over sigil for pvp.

With duals: Awakened healers have a LOT more cp than hp, duals give a massive 30% cp as well as about 15% hp(?) and some mp. Theres a big difference in the extra damage you can take compared to a straight hp weapon. Dual hp/cp boost is also 100% effective and works from all angles, unlike a shield. You do lose like 20% heal power though, I'd have to test again on higher level but it was about 400-500 hp off a 2.5k heal.

I might be wrong but Im fairly sure that the +10 Tallum*DLE my BD has is A-grade and not S-grade....

It's deffo S-Grade

It is S Grade.
A Grade is Tallum*Damascus.

Sad how it is these days... back some years ago ppl would not even know the name of their weapon, they even could tell you where to spoil the parts and what you need to craft...
you're properbly right about the blade havent played the BD in 7 years...

So you had 7 years ago +10 TOP A Grade Duals? And i always thought they got introduced waaaay later
If my memory doesn’t fool me, I remember that S-grade weapons/armors were introduced in C4.
fer1ne, with +4 S duals plus with Sustain (++ enchanted) + Recovery Aura, how would be that lose in heals?
I saw Ferine in action at siege and imo, duals + heavy is much too slow cast speed. especially for group heal which is important in pvp. but he is orc with low wit to begin with so may work better for other classes with more wit. I have some of the S duals also and tried them a few times, but imo in the thick of battle, after the extra cp/hp/mp is gone it is more important to have the cast speed to heal quickly. I usually use my acumen weapon for mass pvp. But probably the best idea is to have both; start with the duals, then when most cp is gone and extra mp used up or in general find yourself casting too slow, switch to acu weapon. duals are more of an option if you use robes which have cast speed boost, but duals in combo with light or heavy could result in quite crappy cast speed, and should probably never be used w/o wizard harmony in that case.

I use sigil which give static pdef increase (+passive for mp regen, heal power), haven't tried shield which give chance of block, so I am not sure which is better in general; I have a concern that the blocking by shield could interrupt skills, and it is very bad to have skills interrupted as healer, so I would not want to risk that but can someone say if shield blocking can stop still use?
Shield block won't interrupt your casting, not that I've noticed anyway.

Hvy + Duals is a bad combo pre-95, apart from maybe on light elves with +wit. I use acumen weapon almost always, I only use duals for active reflect and sometimes just to noob about with and test stuff. :p

Maybe you saw my cast when the ISS had run off so I didn't have sonatas? Cast speed sucks big time without sonatas. Orc WIT does kinda suck but even with duals it's not THAT bad. I can't complain anyway, 5s celestial near death then balance back up to full hp more than makes up for low WIT. :p
I notices there's different in term of healing power when I use Requiem and Apocalypse weapon, so does Magic damage or Weapon's magic damage and Magic critical damage affect healing power and Crit heal power ?
For healer is better R95 heavy set? What is the difference in pdef vs R95 robe Pdef? ty
