Estimated downtime is approximately 4 hours for the game servers, 4 and a half hours for the L2 Galleria and Path to Awakening pages, and 2 hours for the NCsoft.com functions.

It is not longer possible to obtain Blessed weapons as reward for the "Nightmares of Dwarves" quest.
The issue of certain NPCs randomly not responding or behaving properly has been fixed. This issue was most often seen in the Magmeld region, and with NPC Sookie in the Ancient City of Arcan.
The following monsters now automatically respawn at their original location if they stray beyond their set boundaries: Longhorn Golkonda, Mucrokian Preacher, Mucrokian Ascetic, Mucrokian Fanatic, and Dragon Scout of the Valley.
Changed the "Report the Status of Windmill Hill" quest reward to be a random Unidentified D-Grade Weapon. The quest reward now appears as "Unknown Reward" in the Quest details window.
The geodata issue remains but a fix is near. Stay tuned for a possible hot fix maintenance notice in the next few days.

Seriously, what's wrong with you? Every their move you keep trolling and saying that they fail, yet this game is ran for 8 years, and you say that they fail. Tell me how? You give no arguments to support your opinion, All you say is that they fail.

At least from what we see so far, the rewards are less than what came when L2 celebrated 7th Year Anniversary, but we still have absolutely no clue what is hiding behind those question-marks, hopefully that's something way better ^^

Great Job NCSoft, looks like a great event, with even more in store after "Stage 1."
As some have eagerly pointed out, my only concern with the Letters is the botting. I personally like the fact that I can buy that last letter I need to spell a word, but maybe there can be some limits placed that will deter some botters, without impacting REAL players:
- only mobs that are over Level 60 will drop Letters,
- killing mobs while in a full party will trigger x2 chance of Letter drop,
- only characters over 75 and 3rd class or above can trade Letters,
- GMs can monitor any characters with insane amounts of unredeemed Letters to watch for fraudulent activity.
The Event and the rewards so far cater to people that are celebrating the Anniversary, and that are S, S80, and R grade carriers. Therefore, level 1-40 dwarves bot training in TI and Gludio area should not be getting rewards. Moreover, since a normal, REAL player can level up to S-grade quite quickly (1-2 days max), there's not any real reason for low mobs to drop these items.
great that they added new events stuff and and fixes, I just hoped they would make one at time too much new changes in 1 time to process!
anyways the no XP lose upon death imo will always be the best event!
since it encourages clans even low ones to pvp and makes the game more fun imo.

7th Anniversary Letter Collector's Gift: Upon use, a Letter Collector's Gift increases Atk. Spd. by 15%, Magic Casting Spd. by15%, and Speed by 20 for 2 hours. As a nostalgic gesture, using a Letter Collector's Gift also changes the appearance of the using character's equipped weapon and armor to look like the D-grade equivalent. Reuse time of this item is 60 minutes. The item can be exchanged, traded, and sold.

We posted an update about the geodata issue in the maintenance post. We are close to having a fix; currently we're testing some possible fixes and if one of them works it will be implemented ASAP.
Please note that we were the only Lineage II territory that had this issue. That is why it was difficult for developers to replicate the issue and find a fix for it, and what it's taken this long.

It's possible they may be sold on the store in the future, but we cannot guarantee that at this time.

We've posted on the event page that Account Services will be returning in late May, so they are coming back. We cannot say at this time exactly which services will be available and how they will work, but this information will be released as we approach that time frame.

The Letter Collector's Gift (8th Anniversary) and the Letter Collector's Gift from the 7th anniversary are not the same item. The items have different stats and is a different color in your inventory. The only one being removed on June 6, 2012 is any remaining Letter Collector's Gift (8th Anniversary); all others (7th Anniversary) remain in the game.
The reason for this is that anniversary items are meant to be used during the anniversary time frame, and although the 7th Anniversary item was an exception to this rule, all seasonal items are encouraged to be used up when the celebration is over.
PS: If you're told about the item removal ahead of time, it's not a "ninja delete." ;)

As far as I understand, with Glory Days the current Awakening skill system (deletion of 2nd and 3rd class transfer skills in exchange for Awakened skills) gets deleted, forcing everyone to learn the Awakened skills without retaining the old skills.
No weapons or armor but there is a 30-day AQ ring.

Same number of instances as before. They're likely full because of the no XP loss upon death boost.

No, the Path to Awakening is only usable by the main class and this was by design. Perhaps that will change in the future, but there are no plans for that at this time.

NP, but actually it was tradable before. It used to be a normal wep and now is unidentified. It was being used to farm adena for RMT, so I was under the assumption that that was the reason for the change (less money now).

The 80 and 85 path to awakening rewards are great and all except there are no S80 dual swords in the weapon pack... please tell me this was some sort of oversight and people with classes such as BDs and ISS not yet 85 will be given S80 dual swords!

It is an oversight indeed, you need to open a support ticket (https://lineage2.custhelp.com/app/ask/) to get a "compensation" in the form of a pair of shadow dual swords. Or so I got from Sace's post...

The only potentially tricky thing is determining if your time zone was affected by daylight savings or not. Overall it's better to simply enter the city you live in instead of choosing a GMT+2 or whatnot.

In the new window that pops up, find "Seattle" in the column to the right, and next to it the time in PDT will be written. If this time is earlier than 10:00PDT, you qualify. I don't think we can offer exceptions for this; the line has to be drawn somewhere and stuck to. =\ But either way I am not one that could authorize something like that; it's always worth a shot to ask the GMs (https://lineage2.custhelp.com/app/ask/).
