ok i turned my orc monk into a feoh, and +4 an apoca caster, then only to find out that he burns out all his mp before stage 5 in kartia group, and does not do as much dmg as i imagined... what is the best way to play a feoh? Only do magic that consumes the largest amout of mp, or the magic cost the least mp? (I am smart enough not to use those un-awakened skill). Should I put empower rather than acuman on my caster? ty.
also, do I recover faster sitting or walking (i guess this i can find out this myself later on tonight)?
Aore Healer should keep it somehow .. but
USE:
- body to mind skill
- when a lot of mobs stop using single target use only AoE
- use Double Casting / Spirit when u can ( Spirit safe MP)
- Mass Devil is your friend (use just after body to mind) it increase dmg dealt.
...
Get used to is not OL/WC who has mana - VR :D
Not buffed you should have 7-8k MP always enter fight with MP close to 100 % or pray and shout for rebirth.
In Katria grp better to do at end of 1st room to have ready in RB room when is really needed.
lol, you guessed it.. i spam them in order.... then i realized it is not a good strategy...
so, which one should I use most frequently (best mp / dmg trade-off)? I thought the attack with 51mp (forgot the name, but lowest mp consumption) is the best bang of the buck... but seems to do very lil damage...

what has nc done to body to mind? it takes like 2 min to respawn!!! omfg!!
Oh right...well some clans possess clan skills, and squad skills, normally clans around lvl 9 already possess this skill, but you have to belond on the main clan to get all squad skills..i cant be more precise than that..anyways since youre new..forget this for now and focus on learning the class:)
Can take a second Summoner instead of the Warrior or Archer.
TBH, though, it's really impossible to know where the issue lies without being in the group with you. It can theoretically be your fault, or the healer's fault, or maybe the group setup is just terrible (having a Summoner in party is 3% more Clarity in addition to their Mana Sharing, I always look for one when forming a Kartia Group on Nuker).
Too many variables. Can't really make any assumptions...
KOOKABURRAS: THEY STILL WORK !
(and they level very fast now when getting xp from awakened chars, lvl 70+ should give you some decent amount of mp if you really insist on spamming skills)
ok I'm healer and one of my biggest pet peeves is freaking people of all classes, especially nukers, who cannot manage their mp, burn thru it all in 1 minute, and then whine at me for rebirth like I can magically pull it out my butt for them. and fyi I really don't like recharging people, nor do I have any time to do so in active party where I have to give my full attention to healing. SE/EE as main used to be incredibly boring because the ONLY thing they did was recharge...
imo healer is hardest and most complex class to play, do not waste my time bothering me for mp, learn to play your class, and if you really want to not suck, watch for when rebirth happen, set timer and politely ask for it when it is actually up again. I've even had nukers bothering me for mp when I play summoner. Seriously? I am not your personal mp recharger; learn timers of the skills, get a kookaburra (really I am surprised so many ppl don't use them anymore, they are fixed now and work very well), and most importantly learn to play your class well so that you aren't a drag on a party.
ps quest for kookaburra is from gludio pet manager and is cheap, gogo++
pps i'm not trying to be a jerk to OP in particular, my complaint is about all ppl in general who cannot manage mp.

I guess you have no idea how much mp cost 1 aoe skill on wizards; and from your comment you are one of those really lazy ppl or who cannot handle doing both - healing and recharging. I've seen really good healers who managed doing both things. And since you choose this path you should have embraced your real job. I agree with you about others learning skills reuse but your idea about new healer job is totally wrong.
For the originator: craft mp elixirs, they are really handy (512 MP/use); or if you have fame you can buy greater MP elixirs (1020 MP/use) + other posters said you should be ok.
Depends on the level of a healer, I spam 3 skills on single target, both my aoes on multiple targets.
If the healer is confident he might tell you to spam everything.
PvE is very boring on feoh... only fun is when you get to use y our other skills to distract mobs and potentially save the party
With a healer and B2m I dont have to use mp pots often. With summoners in group I get a mana pot every few seconds from their skills. As far as damage goes, prepare to be annoyed especially if you dont have any healers who are experts at pvp. There are so many immune and resists in this game its not even funny, in masspvp I usually couldnt get past the initial resists before I was dead.
Does the Recharge skill still level up with the Kookabura ?
afaik the last learn level of the recharge is lvl 70 which is why the kooka becomes much more usefull at this level, but it does learn new recharge at 55, 60, 65 also; after 70 I believe the recharge amount is affected by the difference in levels between you and it. atm my 9 level lower kooka gives me 153 mp on my main. a 74,75 lvl kooka give my 72 nuker mentee 223 mp I think (due to mana gain passives and close in level).

lol. Healers' real job is to heal, not babysit noobs who use up entire mp bar in 1 minute (and nukers become completely useless with 0 mp, unlike archers). I don't care how much mp nuker aoe uses, nuker needs to learn to manage mp better; if you using mp too fast use only aoe and no single target nukes. I recharge all the time, but I am saying it is definitely not my favorite thing to do, and people using too much mp too fast annoys me greatly, especially when they then are bothering me for mp way before they should be.

+1
Every Feoh should read these words. Today I had one asking for Rebirth while both had HALF MANA BAR.

My main is a 9x Feoh but I also have a level 89 healer and play it on a regular basis. A Feoh that runs out of mp before rebirth is up is just bad. The healer's primary responsibility is to keep the party a live. Recharging and debuffing are secondary functions that are done as the situation permits.
There is nothing more annoying than a Feoh that takes no responsibility for their character and just spams party chat with "rebirth", "recharge", and "rez me" (so they can stand 2 inches from the boss again or so they can do nothing to defend themselves as the boss walks over and one shots them, lmao).

Depends upon what you mean by "they are working".
I have a level 85 kooka (153 MP per charge) the **** thing never seems to stay in correct places while recharging me, and the moment the tank cannot keep the mobs on him/her just for a while and some mobs come to my direction, it always ends up dead.
And it is not fun to waste 35% percent of your hard earned XP for a one-shot pet for some measly charges. It still wastes XP even when it is dead on the ground.
And the sound of the kooka is definitely the most annoying sound in this game.
Why would you use a baby pet on a party lol, they are meant for when you have to solo or dont have healer in certain situation.
Because the healers do not like recharging you in the party, so you would want to take at least some help from your kooka but you can't because they die quickly anyway and eat XP in the end. Those things need to get awakened because I am beginning to regret raising one.
And lol why would you even need a kooka in solo areas with MP pot drops, I can nuke non stop with empowering echo and arcane power on in the swamp and nursery all the time.
And some healers absolutely have no empathy regarding the nukers, a nuker's mana goes really fast even if you use it at peak efficiency all the time (just hitting 6 mobs or more and stopping casting less when less than 3). Slowing down your AoE just to get to the next rebirth is not managing your MP, it is just delaying the inevitable.

No one cares what level your main is and it takes like 2 weeks to get to 89 from 85, maybe less in a decent group.
A Feoh should never be running out of mana between Rebirths because the healer should be recharging them. Yes, it means you have to work harder - so what. Recharging is not a secondary function for healers, it's a primary function and it's much easier for an Aeore to Heal and Recharge than it was for an SE or EE without Chain Heal, Tree of Life, a Hot on Balance Life, etc. to do the same. You have a ton of tools for precicely that reason.
If you run a Mage group (Holy Trinity + Summoner + Yul + 2x Feoh) then the timing of rebirth depends largely on the mana levels of the Nukers. Not EVERYONE. If the Mages are OOM, Rebirth needs to go up even if the rest are at half mana. That's the way it works. They're a Magic Damage class and their DPM is very high. The drawbacks to that type of party setup is that the healer has to be better at multi-tasking than in some other party setups. Basically bad healers need not apply, cause other players can do without the whining...
The only thing I do side with healers on from a mana perspective is the use of Empowering Echo in PvE. I think Mages should stop using it since the damage increase in PvE does not justify the increase in MP consumption. Arcane Power I can deal with. Empowering Echo and I kick you from my group after I ask you to take it off and I see it pop up again (yea, some think I'm not watching) - no Questions.
If mages should never go OOM between rebirths then Radiant Recharge would have no reason to exist, since the same can be said for any other class when you acknowledge the obvious fact which is mages having the highest MP consumption in the game; especially in an AoE scenario, despite having larger mana pools than other classes they still run out faster. The only thing a healer would need to do is rebirth on a 10 minute timer and all would be well. Obviously that's not the case so I dunno how you can speak as if Recharging was optional.
The only way a mage can have that kind of mana endurace without a lot of help from a Recharger - especially in AoE scenarios (which is like most of PvE post-Awakening anyways) is if either Herbs drop or they're purposely holding themselves back and performing poorly just to shut the healer up.
Recharging is not comparable to debuffing. The two aren't even in the same category.
