The new method of calculating the server load is they tell the system to ignore all the duplicate IP's except 1 in the game; meaning multi boxing and bots are not calculated into the equasion above 1. :D
So you can have a player boxing 6 toons, or a full bot group and it will only see the IP and count it once. Just goes to show you just how many live players are around. lol
They kinda shot themselves in the foot by doing this since servers showing Light is not a good thing to see.

Can't reveal my source, they would probably lose their job but it is not possibile to raise the server capacity as the system becomes unstable above 6000.
Chronos and Nani are "weekend" servers, most times during the week their capacity is generally Normal, like right now meaning less than 2500 IP's using their new calculation system; Light would be around 1000 IP's.
What I find amusing is that some people tell me these numbers have been seen on those stupid private servers; kinda scary if you ask me.
PS: For those interested, I am currently in Seoul, South Korea on business and will be given a nice tour of the NCsoft headquarters over the weekending and given a chance to play Lineage Eternal; kinda excited about seeing both. :D

Send us some postcards!
(No irony intended, enjoy the tour!)
I am told I can take pictures of certains areas inside the building, but the development and office sections they do not allow any electronic devices; they make you go though a security station exactly like you see in airports.
No plans currently, but I'm sure it comes up in meetings. It's still in the wait and see stage. I wouldn't doubt Magmeld, bartz and shilen being sandwiched together..nom nom meat in the middle!!
