As we could read on 23rd of May will available again the account services, also Sace told in the interview every services will return (including the server transfer too).
I would request you and also open here a poll, that you won't active this service again.
1. Now we can say, that the servers has good population balance, they aren't full atm, so you have place to leveling and can login, but also we have on every server enough peoples to organize parties etc.
2. Maybe in this year we will get the Dimensional War system to our location too where is really important, that the power of the rival servers will be balanced with each other, because anyone of them will win every time while another will loose constantly.
3. Every server has its own politic and tradition, where doesn't missing, that one-one "top" party or clan (maybe alliance) transfer from a server to another to dominate there. (I did hear already, that some "top" peoples plan to do this action).
4. While this strong "top clan" did dominate on a server will be able to farm in the best places without problem while maybe half year later will return to their old server where they will dominate again.
5. These situations or issues already happened in the past and the players wasn't too happy about it.
The server transfer isn't a service what would work well to the system of Lineage II.
Or if you really want force this service here some idea, what can help, that these issues won't happen again!
1. The user of an account just will be able ask one time server transfer request if he did use up this service one time the server transfer service won't allow on this account anymore.
2. The European players just will be able to transfer to European time zone servers (Naia, Magmeld), while the American players will be able to transfer to the (Chronos, Bartz, Shilen). But if an American player play on Chronos or Bartz or Shilen server the server transfer won't allow for his account, while if an European player play on Naia or Magmeld the server transfer also won't allow for him.
im not worried at all about server transfer as Sace already said they would stop transfer to heavy pop servers
So, if u wanan transfer to chronos or naia u better be quick cause it prolly get shut down quite fast
So basically you want NCsoft to stop a service that makes them money so you can control what other people do in the game? Are you smoking crack? Were you dropped on your head as a small child? Transfers have always worked in this game. Those who choose to do it not only have lighter wallets but less items in game too. Who are you to tell them they can't move to a service that makes the game more enjoyable for them to play?
I still don't agree with your post. I am sure you will find a problem with that. I played more then a few years myself. The only problem with open transfers is a top clan somewhere may get knocked off their high horse. Other then that I seen transfers bring life to dead servers and make the game fun again. How is that a bad thing? Plus they already stated they won't allow transfers to over populated servers. Maybe you should read before you post.
Well good effort with the wall of text. That service has been offered for years. Most people are not too keen on forking out $50 per toon so I highly doubt server populations will suffer.
I play on Bartz,wich might be one of the most changed servers when transfers are open but honestly i dont feel it will be something bad,progress is part of any gaming society.

you say it right! It will be small transfers, I know people from Naia that wants to come Shillen server, they are highly waiting for this since trulyfree launch.

To clarify and avoid misinformation, we said that eventually all account services will return, but we did not guarantee that server transfers specifically will be returning on May 23.
Server transfers are a standard service for most MMORPGs and we are indeed planning to bring them back to the players of Lineage II. Until the details are released at the time of its return it is too early to predict how it will effect the servers and their population; a lot will depend on whether or not all servers are available for transfers, and most of all on each player's individual choice of whether or not to transfer. Let's wait until the service is back and discuss it then.
If they allow the 99 parties from Naia to xfer to other servers whatever server they xfer to will be crushed and stale within 2 months.
Afaik, only Martelx on Naia is 99.
