Thankyou a whole lot for the help that was given to me in my thread that is now locked. I am now able to progress! YAY! Laby Aranthe and Carilee (pardon for spelling mistakes I dont know your exact spellings) you three give me hope that there are more ppl like you in Lineage 2, and I look forward to discovering more friendly players here.
c'mon now don't flame him or provoke it. Some people just need extra help or don't understand immediately and become upset. I read what happened and I know everyone was trying to help,but maybe it was too much info for them to take in and all they really needed was how to finish the lvl 18 instance.
He's learning about low level areas and see for himself as he plays.

I know there's a big rush below 85 and NC kind of pushes you through everything quickly so you can awaken at 85, it's been talked about often. I would say you learn by following the quest chain now. It teaches you about buffs,soulshots,potions and attacking in the beginning. Starting out I can see why you were looking for parties,but the game was designed now for you to do it alone and level quickly so it doesn't really promote party play until later.
You learn by just playing mostly, getting into a clan so you can ask questions. This forum is a great tool and there were a lot of good responses for your request of help. Most people here just link you the reading material because they've explained it so many times it's just easier to link you to it and let you read it and ask specific questions later if you need more explaining of something. You have to respect people here in order to get it in return. You have to behave here, it's a privilege to be able to post. You can't accuse people of things or insult them when they try to help.
I'm sure all that bombardment of information was over whelming to you and all you needed at that moment was an explanation of the instance quest. Some people I deal with at work can't handle a flood of information all at once,they can only do one thing at a time, yes that's frustrating, but that means I need to back off,slow down and work with one thing until they understand it. So just be more specific of what you want to know, if the link provided doesn't help you just say it wasn't it and try explaining it differently. :) I'm not on your server or I'd pm you and walk you through.
Well for the very first time I have played an MMO, I never expected the dreaded "auto-response" akin to "tech support staff" sent to you via email, to be their version of helping someone. That was as offensive as it can get to me when asking a question. :) So, I deserved the warning I got 100%. I hope others that saw that, will also learn....

The auto response has been that way for years unfortunately. Asking game play questions through support isn't how it works here as you've learned. All game guides and info are on fan sites, some info can be found on the official site and the forums. A lot of times I've had to google it and dig it up or watch a "how to" on youtube to do a quest after trying a dozen times and almost punching my screen hahaha.
All of the online games I've played eventually work like this. The players make fan sites and they are the ones who write the guides, tips and tricks on games. L2 is 8 years old remember and it's now free to play so NC keeps minimal staff to keep the hamsters running in the wheel so to say.
p.s. I still have my Prima game guide of L2 the printed book copy LOL. Now you look at that and how much it's changed since 2004!

Oh, you mean the one that started the rumor of dwarves spoiling a mob increasing also the chance of normal drops from it, by featuring a slightly "odd" worded description about the spoil skill increasing a mobs drop chance :) Epic!

Not a troll really, just someone who didn't know how to play and got frustrated. After they calmed down and were warned to check the temper things got explained.
